Extremely disappointed with my experience. I never leave bad reviews, frankly this is my first one, but this experience needs to be addressed. I am pissed!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. The restaurant was nearly empty--only our table and two others--but it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Even getting tap water and to-go boxes took more than 25 minutes. It was a complete joke! When the food finally came, it was cold. The server checked on us only once, ignored our request to sing happy birthday to my sister, and was very rude, talking to her coworkers and the manager the entire time. The service felt completely unprofessional. I unfortunately left a tip but regret it. I would not go back and highly suggest others avoid this place. Will be letting all my friends and family know what type of service they offer at this place and hope there is some changes made. Came here to watch Sunday night football. TVs were everywhere, and most seats had a good view of them. Lots of drink and snack specials were available. The Brew Pub Pretzel stick special cost me just $6. They were piping hot and tasted terrific when dunked in the cheese dip and even better when dunked in the honey-mustard dip. The Sizzlin' Caramel Apple Skillet sounds better than it tastes. I don't recommend it. Both foods came out in a jiffy! Seth provided excellent service by informing me about all the specials and by refilling my soda. About 15 people were present: some couples, a few singles, and some friends and family. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. This is a good place to meet fun people. I am impressed with this Applebee's location. I will definitely be back, perhaps next Sunday. read more

Always liked Applebees, but Can't give five stars even as nice as the people are, the atmosphere is very nice but as I get older and need to watch my sodium I have discovered their outrageously high sodium content to their food! Nothing was under 1500 and most in the 2500+ range house salad had 210! Crazy just some "food" fr thought! read more

I stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday with my mom and sister before heading to MacArthur airport to head back to Tampa. There was a decent amount of people there but we were seated immediately. Our waitress was a doll! I wish I could remember her name...I think it was Jackie. We took a long time to decide what we wanted to order which was good because our poor waitress was so overwhelmed with the building lunch crowd that she had trouble making her rounds. She was apologetic and super polite throughout our visit. We understood that she was doing the absolute best that she could! Our tables orders: Caprese Mozzarella Chicken, Quesadilla Burger (sub veggie burger and no bacon) and I had a lunch combo with a Caesar Salad and 4-Cheese Honey Pepper Chicken Mac & Cheese. Everything was really delicious! Great portions for the price and all was fresh. This is a solid Applebee's location. It's clean, located in a great place close to the airport, friendly staff, clean bathrooms. The only thing lacking is a few extra waiters needed. Our awesome waitress made this issue much less pleasant, but if I were in a rush to catch a flight or get back to work I would have had some rough anxiety. I went here at 10pm on a Thursday night. We were seated almost immediately, at a table that was disgusting. There was sticky stuff, and water all over. The waitress came over almost immediately, before we even looked at the menu. We wanted to get the 2-for-1 on beer, but they didn't have Coors Light, Miller Light, or even Yuengling. Finally we ordered Blue Point Pinestripe, which wasn't even included on the 2-for-1. However, they wouldn't even honor the 2-for-1 despite not having 3 of the beers we originally wanted. So we went with bud light, which was. The drinks came out within 5 minutes. For some reason, the waitress brought 2 beers out for everyone at the same time. And all of them were flat. Every. Single. One. We ordered our appetizers, despite the gross beer. So we sat, talked, drank our flat beer. We talked some more. And then realized we finished our drinks, and there were no appetizers. But the table behind us was already served. We flagged down the waitress, and she said "Oh, I was going to tell you - the appetizers will be done in a few minutes" We literally waited over an hour for nachos and chicken wonton tacos. No communication from the staff. She didn't even ask if we wanted refills for our drinks. The only reason why they even deserve one star, is that they took the food off of our bill, it only after we insisted we weren't paying for food we didn't receive. Went there with my family Knowing the food is always good having been there before But this time I had a different server , a very pretty lady by the name of Lavasia. She was outstanding, so personable making us laugh and feel comfortable. And not only that but very fast with the food and checking on us numerous times making sure we were happy and comfortable. I hardly ever leave reviews This Young lady gave us such a great time that We not only had a good meal but we made a friend that we will keep coming back to see over and over again. Here's the Scoop: stopped in for lunch today with my honey. We ordered the 3 apps for $14.99. I ordered the chicken tacos, house salad and crispy hot wings bone-in. The salad was huge I was shocked. My infant were fried to perfection, chicken tacos light, crispy shell like tempura uhh so goood! My honey ordered the chicken quesadillas, house salad and siracha shrimp. I began munching on my apps and my honey. I forgot to take pucks of the shrimp and wings but take my word for it, fingerlickin good. Check my pics. I used to love Applebees. Still do. Unfortunately their website sends you to Yelp which then forwards you to Grub Hub. So when I arrived no food. I decided to go inside and have a drink at the bar (mango Margarita while all was getting sorted. The staff was amazing. Drink was tasty. But when I got home and ate my food. Canun steak and garlic mash, it was cold. I ate it anyway and well the vomiting started. Luckily it all came up, right down to the drink at the bar. Goodbye Applebees. Never again. Met my mom for lunch here on a work day. She got there at 11:45 and ordered for the both of us. I arrived at 12. 12:30 rolls around and still no food- meanwhile people who arrived after us are eating or finishing up. The waiter kept telling us "oh I'll go check on it in a minute," as he goes back to the bar to tend to other people. Finally 12:55 comes and I have to go back to work, still no food. So we ask the waiter again and explain it's been over an hour and we need to leave, can we get the food for take out. He says he'll check on it again. Waited 5 more minutes and he never went to go check. Ended up just leaving. Don't waste your time coming here unless you have 2 hours to kill for lunch and want to be ignored. read more

*CHECK YOUR CURB-SIDE ORDERS BEFORE DRIVING AWAY* The last two times I've ordered curb side, items were missing from the bag. The first time, they forgot to give us fries with a burger. The second time, they completely left out a dessert. It's annoying because the girl literally read the order out loud to me before passing me the bag and she definitely mentioned the dessert. The dessert was also on the receipt (of course I was charged for it) so I didn't think to actually look through the bag before pulling out of the parking spot. I guess I just trusted them to have everything in there. The food has always been good here, which is why I gave this place 2 stars. This place sucks when it comes to their To-Go Orders. Online I ordered their 3 app sampler pack. I put in for 2 orders of boneless chicken wings and an order of brew pub pretzels. I got back to my office to find that one of the chicken orders had 4 pieces of chicken in it and the other only had 5. Now I wouldn't mind this had I, 1- not paid $16.00 for it or 2- not have already known what to expect. I ordered this once before and got a combined 12-14 pieces of chicken. Neighborhood grill. I was out to pick up someone at the airport and had a little time to kill - so I popped in even though I dread these kinds of restaurants. The bar was hopping but I scored a seat right away. The bartender I got was outstanding- she should be at a better place. She was right there with the drinks and the menu and a big smile. The other bartender working with her must have had like 40 red bulls before she got there- and apparently all that caffiene is directly transmitted to her jaw because she Did.Not.Shut.The.Fuck.Up the entire time I was there. blah blah blah my daughter this, blah blah blah, I'm going to shop on black Friday that... Applebees....A huge disappointment if you ask me. Menu items have descriptions on them for a reason. Normally you would get what's described , you would think..... So I order a southwest chicken salad online and an order of brew pub pretzels with cheese. I picked up my order and looked quickly in the bag to see if everything was in there. Everything looked ok so I left. When I get back to work I discover that my southwest chicken salad was just a 14 dollar salad with no chicken. It's Applebee's. We all know it's half price apps and twofers after 10. So we went there. The quesadillas were good, the extra-spicy wings we requested were not edible. Too much pepper. I'm used to spicy food, don't get me wrong, but when you put enough pepper to feed a small village, it becomes a problem. So we sent them back (something I HATE doing) and got (still very spicy) but also very good wings. Moral of this story, if you go to the 'bees in Bohemia, don't request SUPER DUPER spicy. read more

Applebee's is just another run of the mill, ordinary, franchised restaurant. Among these types of restaurants ( Fridays, Chili's, Ruby Tuesday's) , I think Applebee's is one of the worst. However, I do come here sometimes because the location is convenient for me. The burgers are pretty good. The fries could be better. The Appetizer sampling trio is a ripoff. I ordered that for lunch one day. $15.99 for 2 small sliders, mozzarella sticks, and a few boneless wings? Should be closer to ten bucks, especially since the boneless wings were not that good and did not come with blue cheese or anything. Mozz sticks could have been cooked for another minute. Service is ok, but a bit slow. I like the fact that they have Pepsi, not Coke. read more

I was there last night with 11 friends. Everyone was served their food, then our server Kayla C said to me crisply, "The bad news is, they dropped your burger on the floor. They're making another one." Fine, I waited while all my friends ate. Another server eventually delivered a second burger for me. When I was halfway through, a third server brought a THIRD identical burger. I said fine, I'll take it home. Come time to pay the bill, Kayla C charged me for two burgers. I asked her about it, and she snipped, "Yes! We cooked the burger, so you hafta pay for it." I said "That's a fascinating policy, and I won't come back to this restaurant." She turned on her heel and disappeared. So, the kitchen made two mistakes and charged me twice. Any restaurant who cared at all about their customers and was willing to own up to their mistakes, would have apologized and given me a discount. I left her zero tip, which I've never done before. I don't reward bad service amped-up by a bad attitude. Avoid this Applebee's, and if you must go there, avoid Kayla C as your server. (Kayla C seems to have a general problem with multiples: She gave me THREE boxes to take home the extra burger.) read more

So decided to visit Applebee's I believe two weeks ago again with my best friend usually I love the food have a great time but this time I was a little unhappy but I hate complaining at a restaurant because I always think they're going to like put a bug in my food or something LOL (by the way they didn't lol) I had ordered a steak that came with broccoli and I had want it loaded mashed potatoes. When I did get my food my steak seems slightly dry broccoli was unseasoned but I had thought it came with maybe some butter and garlic sauce that was partially my fault I guess what I'm asking I'm also mad we dress forgot to send me loaded mashed potatoes that I want it broccoli sour cream and cheese on I just decided to leave it alone and just eat what I had maybe 20 minutes into me eating dinner she realize she did it give me the right mash and brought it to me but by then I was slightly already done with my meal so there's that other than that.
