I clarified that I was requesting the corporate office contact information, and he claimed that all locations are privately owned. While I understand that franchises may be privately operated, there is still a corporate office that establishes operational standards. Refusing to provide a simple printed receipt and declining to share corporate contact information is highly unprofessional and reflects very poor customer service. Overall, this experience was extremely unsatisfactory.

Walks away to put in the charcuterie order (instead of pouring the first wine). I wish she could have texted someone or used a computer/tablet to communicate with the kitchen... or had an experienced person there to provide guidance/training. Eventually we got the snacks and wine. They were each... okay. The wine tasting was a bit awkward because she was reading the descriptions (for the first time??) and seemed surprised by some of the flavors/notes mentioned. I can see us visiting again if we're for some reason in town for an event and the event happens to be here, but I'd rather explore other wineries if it's just us or a group of friends exploring Prosser wine tastings.

The orange and brown carpeting had almost psychedelic effects (especially after a few glasses of wine). And the room, while large and boasting essential like a microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker, was extremely dated. Everything was clean and comfortable, though, and it seems they've kept things in surprisingly good shape maintenance-wise. The thing that made the BW stand out most was the friendly staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the very kind ladies who staffed the breakfast area it was all top notch, and it's what would make me return here if I go on another wine trip. Speaking of breakfast, this place has one of the best free breakfasts I've every seen - including not only the usual waffle stand, oatmeal, and baked goods, but a full-service omelette bar and huge selection of dairy-free milk alternatives too. My husband spotted the pill on the window sill before they did thankfully, which is unacceptable that it was even there! There was a odd looking toy by the bed that seemed sketchy. Felt like something was done in there and we'll it wasn't cleaned good enough. Really sketchy. But only reason I'm doing a 3 star is the people that run it is very kind.

Only about a 30 minute drive to Richland, Wa. We at at a Mexican place called Las Palomas. My husband picked it up at take out as we had a dog with us. We ordered their tacos and they were some of the best we have had in a long time, They were delicious as well as authentic, and we would have had some for breakfast if they were open then. The cost was very reasonable. The hotel is dog friendly and lots of places to walk you dog. There is an outside patio you can eat at and I believe has a bar b que. One of the things I found on this trip...Only about two of the hotels we stayed in on our 3 wk trip to ND had freezers. And they were missing the little knob that adjusted that temp. We always carry a portable thermometer with us so we can know what the temp. But both places said it is because people take them. We have had mini refrigerators at every hotel but most of them have no freezers anymore.

The other thing is that while everything looked clean, the towels and linens didn't feel laundered. they felt used and refolded. there was also a blood stain on my sheets which should never be allowed. The final nail in the coffin of this place is the A/C was extremely noisy all night. I would urge the owners to re-evaluate staff training and operations processes in order to make some quick changes which would drastically improve my review.
