I saw both doctor, Dr. Karamian and Dr. Ilbeigi. I did not care fot Karamian as her injections caused me pain and I also found her to be too clinical. And a bit rude. I loved Ilbeigi as he was kind, did pretty painless injections and fixed a problem that the staff messed up. once I told him That they inadvertently changed the dosage of my meds. Sadly Dr. Ilbeigi retired abruptly giving us all 2 weeks notice. Needless to say this was a problem. My body decided to have a sciatica flare up during this transition that hit the 10 level for a couple of weeks. I managed to use a muscle relaxer to help with the pain and allow me to sleep a few hours Intermittently throughout the day. Pain meds do very little for nerve pain. Finding a new pain management Dr that will give me the medication I was taking so far has been difficult . I had to wait a month before I could even make it to lay in the back seat of my girlfriend's car to get to these appointments. I thought I was okay with the first doctor but they shorted my prescription and never bothered to explain why nor how to go off these meds. when I called they told me to wait the month to speak to someone. I tried their main office as this clinic has various offices throughout Southern California, guess it's a money maker, however I got nowhere with her either. The next Dr berated Dr Ilbeigi and myself for even being on these meds. He was rude condescending and kept me waiting for 2 hours prior to seeing me. When I returned to Dr number one who is not a Dr but a rotating staff of nurse practitioners that one sees monthly she was under the assumption that I was told about the decrease. I wasn't. I was told she would keep my meds as is but that my next appointment the doctor might change them. No one mentioned nurse practitioners. Their main concern and to be honest both drs concern was following the regulations and abiding by the criteria set by the FDA or the powers that be with little concern for the patient. They wanted to cover their ass more than aid the pain patient. It has become pretty much a one size fits all. Since I had been in pain for years I tried various treatment. The one that changed my life, the pain meds. I went from being home bound to getting certified to teach water fitness which I did for 12 years until my next decline and sadly had to qui Teaching and working out. At that time I went all out trying injections, acupuncture, chiropractic (legs went numb) nerve blocks, mindful meditation, yoga and Pilates. The final thing that ultimately worked was massage which I paid out of pocket for over a year until my masseuse moved away. So if you want try Karamian go for it. Oh, she would not see anyone of us who had been a prior patient which I believe demonstrates her attitude and "first do no harm" way of practicing Medicine. I had hoped to find a group of prior patient so we could exchange notes on who best to see. I'm going to be 80 in April and I have been in pain since 1987 going on pain meds in 2003 when the policy was, "there is no cap on how much you can take of these drugs to this". I simply don't have the energy I had 13 years ago when I had to quit teaching and was in such good shape to Dr shop. Pain erodes your body and more so your spirit. Being told to detox myself without guidance is malpractice in my books but I know it's common practice in theirs. I have always been very careful with how I take these meds. After all they changed my life. I respected them unlike many of the providers who prescribe them. Good luck to those of you looking for pain management. I hope you find one you like

It's not tbe pediatric clinic its the adult Dr.Yehayes. First off I asked for a document so I could…read morego to see a nutritionist. I have Hasimotos which keeps me a bit over weight. This is a MEDICAL condition so how dare he put Obese on tbe document. I probably eat a hell of a lot more healthier then he does. Then I asked to be take off Levothyroxzine and put on Armour Thyroid. He tells me that Levothyroxzine is actually the preferred. I tell him why would I want to put a man made synthetic drug in my system when I can have a natural one. He then processed to tell me I was wrong. Levothyroxzine is not a synthetic man made medication that its made from...blah blah. Well that tells me right there he doesn't know his medication. Then when he sends the Armour Thyroid he sends it as some weird name its not even called then was rude to my pharmacy telling them other pharmacies can get it....well so can mine when the actual medication is named proper. Then he sends 2 different strengths which is NEVER heard of. My Endocrinologist that I saw in Palm Springs for yrs when I lived out that way was the one who showed me that Levothyroxzine is actually a synthetic man made medication and I think he would actually know this since its his line of work. I now have an appointment with an Endocrinologist to get me the correct dosage. When I called this office I told them about the 2 different strengths called in and they even told me....no way....not done that way.....one pill. Not 2 separate. I won't be going back to see him ANYTIME at all.

I spent a week in the hospital during a very serious and vulnerable time involving my heart and overall health. The one bright part of my experience was my cardiologist, Dr. M. Patel, who placed two stents and treated me with professionalism, compassion, and care. I am truly grateful for the way he communicated with me and helped me feel supported during such a frightening medical situation. Most of the nurses who cared for me were also amazing, attentive, and compassionate during my stay. However, there were still serious concerns that left me feeling emotionally distressed and unsupported as a patient. After my second stent procedure, there was an issue where my lunch and dinner were never ordered, and my husband and children had to repeatedly call so I could receive food. During recovery from a major heart procedure, basic patient care and communication should not fall on family members to manage. I also became deeply concerned when discharge was being discussed even though my blood pressure was still unstable after surgery. I ultimately had to contact a case manager myself because I did not feel medically safe leaving without additional observation. In addition, one staff interaction lacked the bedside manner and compassion that patients deserve during vulnerable medical moments. While I understand healthcare workers are under pressure, communication and emotional care matter greatly when someone is hospitalized and frightened. After leaving the hospital, I also called more than once to report my concerns and request follow-up regarding how I was treated, but I never received a callback or resolution. That lack of communication added even more stress during recovery. I share this review not to attack anyone, but because patients dealing with serious heart-related medical issues deserve to feel heard, respected, properly monitored, and cared for. I hope this feedback encourages stronger patient communication, follow-up, and accountability moving forward.
