Boost mobile used to be Virgin Mobile. Have been a customer for over 10 years. What I liked most…read morewas the mobile hot spot option. Which changed with out my knowledge. I had phone plan and added 30 gb hot spot. Now its all lumped together. As a loyal auto pay customer I have had my last straw. Now Boost Mobile is Dish. Unreal that when your account uses all the data 35gb which was not my hot spot data. That disappeared from my dashboard. You can not restart plan by paying earlier then auto due date. I have work that needs to be done. And need internet access. Even tho I made my monthly payment today trying to restart plan. I called service center with roosters crowing in background. But too no avail. Was told could not restart plan. In the past this was never an issue. I would pay and auto pay date would change. But now Dish is new owner. Yea they want you to waste money by purchasing gig add ons. Even tho my date of auto pay is 1 day away. I am thru with this company. Will be finding a more reliable carrier with at least decent customer service. So if you are shopping around keep looking for a more reliable phone carrier. Or you will find out the hard way. I am not angry because I was the one who signed up for this carrier.

The staff was excellent--we were primarily helped by Vas and Yusef, who could not have been more kind and patient in helping her out and expediting the issue. They efficiently helped, while keeping her informed and comfortable that the service she wanted was proceeding. It's ultimately a small local shop with a limited supply and selection of devices--if you want to peruse all of your current options and walk out of here with the newest model, this might not be the spot for you? But for service or assistance I imagine with an existing account I would think you couldn't ask for much more.

Went in on August 10th to connect my new iPhone, what should have been a simple process and taken…read moreabout 15 minutes turned into 2 hours with zero results. Apparently they were unable to connect my phone because I had purchased it in Europe. this was despite assurances from multiple apple employees that the phone was exactly the same in terms of hardware and software, was unlocked, and that there shouldn't be any issue connecting it. For whatever reason they were completely unable to figure out what the issue was and far worse, did not seem to care at all, were completely uninterested in understanding what the problem was or that there could be a solution, even though the employee admitted to me that he had other customers with the same issue. So after 2 hours of no results and being almost completely ignored after the first 15 minutes I was there with zero explanation of what the encountered problem was, the best I got was "our systems aren't picking your phone up" their "best" suggestion was to return the phone and purchase a new one from them. So the next day I went to the apple store and lo and behold within fifteen minutes they had my phone activated with verizon. According to the apple store employees most Verizon employees have no idea what they're doing and are simply there to try to take your money however they can. After my experience I would have to agree. Overall the employees at jet verizon, also known as Russell cellular were lazy, inattentive, I knowledgeable and completely unable to solve a problem as soon as any difficulties were encountered. I would highly recommend going anywhere else for cellphone related inquiries. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is they at least tried somewhat, yet completely failed, to help.
