I never thought I'd say I'm a fan of an Apple Store. However, the four stars I just gave this place seem to prove something like that. Why is this happening?
I won't write much about the products to buy here or the shop layouts, Apple Stores are the same everywhere, but there is a recent experience I need to share so I can explain.
Well yes, I have a Macbook, mostly because that was the only laptop I could buy with an international warranty before I moved here. Said Macbook started to have wi-fi issues that I could not solve searching for ideas on Google and then resetting everything resettable. This always happens at the worst time possible, in this case, exactly when the other Apple Store is closed for refurbishment, so I need to travel at least 30 minutes to get to the nearest Genius Bar, which gets super crowded and you need to queue up to even get an appointment. Walk-ins are not accepted. If you get to the shop right after opening, then you may or may not get to find a free time slot on the same day, I, for example did not manage to do so, despite getting the tip from a staff member.
However, once I finally could talk to someone about the problem I had, I got a very quick and straightforward solution to the issue, the staff member I talked to knew right away what the reason could be, he asked one or two very specific and relevant questions, gave me the answers I needed, even told me how to solve this problem myself should it occur again.
So, five stars for him (at least), and one minus for the store, because I had to go there three times before I could even tell anyone what was wrong, and the second would not have been necessary. read more
