We have used Patrick for over ten years for all sorts of appliance repairs - dishwashers, washing machines, dryers and ovens at our personal residence and the five rental homes we own. He has always been there when he said he would, is reasonable on his prices and if the repair cost is more than him recommending purchasing a new appliance he is honest and will tell you so. When you consider his time to drive to your home, assess the issue, source the part(s) and in some cases have to order the part(s) and then have to return for a second visit he is more than fair on his pricing. We highly recommend him as he is very knowledgeable, fair priced and honest. read more

really and customer service. had a small issue the first time we tried to schedule - he showed up at the VERY end of the service window (like 2 minutes before it ended), and I'd assumed he wasn't coming because I hadn't heard anything, so we had the reschedule. NBD, paid a $60 service fee, and rescheduled. today I contacted him to try to confirm our service window and his arrival time, at which point he decided to preemptively cancel because I was calling to confirm his arrival. I've never experienced anything like this - totally crazy experience, and now I'm having to contact someone else after having taken off two days of work and paying a $60 fee. such an arrogant man read more

Patrick is wonderful and very knowledgeable. Prices are good as well. He has worked on our dryer, dishwasher, and fridge.

Patrick does a fantastic job. In the past year, he has worked on my refrigerator, oven, and dryer. He communicates well, solves the problem, charges a reasonable price, and is very pleasant to deal with. I recommend him highly. read more

Patrick was terrific. My dishwasher needed repairs and my refrigerator needed an issue addressed as well. Timely, good communication, a nice person, fairly priced and I will definitely use him again for future appliance needs. read more

Patrick was prompt in his response to my inquiry, and gave me an update regarding parts. While we are unable to use him at this time, his efforts are much appreciated and will recommend him for future work. I was referred to him, and his Yelp status is well deserved. D read more

I am a property manager for six houses and I have been using Patrick's appliance repair service for over five years now. I don't think to call anyone else at this point because Patrick always comes through with timely and affordable service. He will also tell me if an appliance may not be worth fixing. And now, before I buy a new appliance, I check with Patrick. I can't recommend Apple Appliance enough! read more

I've used Patrick with Apple Appliance Repair in the past with good results. Patrick researched the issue from my text. A text or two later he recommended checking plugs. I found a switch that in the 32 years I've lived in this house, I did not know controlled that appliance. Voila! Problem solved without a visit! Thank you, Patrick! read more

The first time I met Patrick I was floored! I think he showed up at my house within 20 minutes of my calling him. He quickly diagnosed the problem, corrected it and had everything up and running in less than an hour. Top it off, his pricing is super reasonable. I am not one who trusts just anyone, but I trust him implicitly. He is very knowledgeable about a number of appliances as well as many different brands. I would give Patrick a call in a heartbeat. He'll be on your doorstep in two... read more

Our fridge stoped working all of a sudden. I made an appointment online with another company and they canceled last minute and i had already waited two days for the service. .A Neighbore recommended Patrick - Apple Appliance Repair. I was able to schedule an appt for me right the way even though I called last minute. Got the work done fast and efficiently. Would recommend his service and will call him again when/if need. Thank you! read more

Patrick has repaired multiple appliances for me over the past few years. He is always responsive and on time. I find his work top notch and his prices reasonable read more

Well, OUR household is in fine shape thanks to Patrick Let's see....the dishwasher now DRIES the dishes when you tell it to. The dryer no longer sounds like it has a bowling ball in it when it is running(that's with or without clothes in it-we checked). And the microwave no longer "arcs"(which is a thing a microwave should NOT do). We are happy campers and Patrick observed distancing and a mask during his entire visit. read more

Wonderful!! Wasted my time with someone from Thumbtack who had great reviews related to dishwashers and came to look at my dishwasher three times with a high diagnosis fee and wanted me to pay $300 for a new control board. Patrick knew what the issue was right away and solved my issue in minutes without additional parts or costs. 100% recommend! Thank you so much!! read more

So....Christmas Eve Eve (that's December 23) falls on a Friday this year. Many businesses are closed. My office was closed. My washer decides it's time to stop agitating, which is...agitating...when one has loads of laundry to do before Christmas. Is anyone open? If so, will they charge holiday rates? Ugh!!! I call my best friend who happens to work for an appliance repair shop in IL for some advice before I call anyone (price, what could be the issue, etc. so I'm prepared), but she doesn't answer. Crap! I call a former client who goes Heating/AC/Appliance repair. Their answering service confirms they're closed for the holiday. Crap! I look on trusty yelp for some appliance repair shops with good reviews. Apple shows up in my search because they're in my neighborhood. I call & Patrick answers. My first question "Are you open today?" He replies "yes". Thank God! I explain my issue, text him a pic of the model tag on the lid, and he says he'll be there between noon and 1pm. He shows up at 12:03p . Cool!!! Very quickly, he replaced the part & charged me what he quoted over the phone. Very reasonable price I thought, but I had no clue what it should cost. He proceeded to tell me that he has the same older model washer/dryer set & that I should hang onto them because they don't make them to last 20+ years anymore. Good to know! Honest, and works when others were not. I spoke to my friend a few days later & she said that was an excellent price. Her company charges more than what I was charged for the same repair, so I felt even better about my experience. read more

I have used Patrick's repair services 3 or 4 times on various appliances (washer, dishwashers, dryer) and been very happy every time. He shows up when he's scheduled to, knows his stuff and charges a reasonable amount. Last repair guy gave a higher price and told me to just buy a new appliance (and just didn't seem to want the job!) which isn't doable right now. Thank you Patrick! read more

Problem fixed through Patrick's suggestion by text. He suggested I check the kitchen switches first. Didn't even require a visit

Just moved into a house and needed my washer and dryer looked at. Patrick was able to come by on short notice and quickly diagnose and repair both machines. Definitely would recommend him and his company for any repair needs! read more

Super experience! Power surge knocked out our dryer. Called Patrick. He gave me something to do BEFORE he came out, and it FIXED THE ISSUE. A huge thanks to him for helping and doing the right thing. I'll be keeping his number in my contacts for the next time we need repair. read more

I am very pleased with Patrick and Apple Appliance Repair! After having troubles contacting another repair service that was dispatched by our home warranty company, I searched our nextdoor app for recommendations. I saw that Apple Appliance Repair came highly recommended so I gave them a call. Patrick came out the next day and diagnosed our problem. Within a few days he came back out to install the new part. (Our dishwasher's control panel broke, and Patrick showed me the broken part and why it had happened that way, probably due to a power surge or outage). While he was there, I asked him to take a look at our freezer, which was leaking a bit of water at the bottom. Patrick knew exactly what was going on and fixed the problems within 15 minutes! What a bonus! Two appliances back in working order - woohoo! We are very happy with this repair company and will certainly use them again. read more

I have been using Patrick at Apple appliance for a few years now to service my rental property. I've used him for issues with the oven, garbage disposal, and fridge. He is easy to work with, quick to get in contact in, and transparent when its something that is outside of his range of expertise. It is nice having a person to call when there are issues with the appliances. Thanks Patrick!! read more

Apple Appliance Repair was fantastic! He came on time and got right to work on my washing machine. After taking off the front panel he immediately knew what the problem was. Since it was a relative easy fix for him, he waived his call fee and just charged me for the repair. The price was excellent and so was his expertise. Would definitely use again and highly recommend! read more

Patrick came out to check out our fancy, front-loading 3-year old dryer this week which was stopping within two minutes of us hitting the "Start" button. We did some preliminary research that suggested you'd need to run a diagnostic on the machine to see what error codes it was giving and figure out the fix from there. Not wanting to muck with it, we figured we'd have a professional come out and fix it for us right away. We scheduled an appointment with Patrick, and he came out a few days later. He arrived and stared at the machine for a few minutes. When asked if it was because the vent needed to be cleaned out, he said no and that that wouldn't cause this type of issue. He said the only fix he can think to do is to replace the entire control panel for $300. We weren't convinced, so we paid him the $59 diagnostic fee and he left. After he left, my boyfriend hopped back on Google and looked up step-by-step instructions on how to get the error codes so we could figure out what's wrong. In less than five minutes, he figured out that one of the buttons was jammed. Once he pried that loose and fixed it (another 5 minutes), we were back in business and it's been smooth sailing since! I'm not looking to get the $59 diagnostic fee back, but I do want to warn other people about Patrick's ineptness. At a minimum, he could have looked up the error codes instead of just suggesting the most expensive fix in the book. I expect professionals to actually diagnose the problem rather than just stare blankly at the machine waiting for a solution to materialize. While a new control panel ($300) would have fixed the problem, it's not a cost effective solution. I'm truly shocked that Patrick @ Apple Appliance Repair has many reviews and that all of them are high ratings. Patrick neither diagnosed the problem or instilled confidence in us that he had any idea what he was doing. read more

Highway robbery!!! I called him thinking I was getting a honest fair service after reading the reviews but I was wrong. I had a leak on my LG washer drain hose that only took him less than an hour to replace but he charged me $182.94. I discovered the drain hose only retails less than $15. I understand people are in business to make a profit but this is straight highway robbery. $15 hose + 1hr job = $182.94, wow I'm in the wrong business. I don't normally write reviews but I had to write this one, I hope this will help others and just maybe he will think twice before he over charge another customer. Apple Appliance Repair - Appliances & Repair Near Me

I have been using Patrick for several years now. He is the first person I call when my renters have an issue with any of the appliances in my apartment. I feel like he is fair and always as honest as he can be with me. Let me explain: After Reading all the reviews, I realized that all of the 1 and 2 star reviews are complaining about his price tag or have stated that after he left their place and had offered them an assessment, that they looked online and found a simple fix. Well, first of all, do people realize how few repairmen there are left? Their charge rate is high because they are in demand. Seriously! Also, if you can look it up on the internet at all, then don't call him. Look it up first. I don't have the option to look at my appliances to figure out what is wrong. I don't live in the state anymore and am reliant on someone I can trust to tell me the truth. Many times he has gone to my place and seen that a dryer door handle just needed tightening or something as simple as that. yes the fee is 60 bucks, but hey! he drove and spent gas money to get there, plus his time as he could have been with another customer. The dude is busy. I have never met him in person, but he has always been honest to the point of technical about the problem. Thanks Patrick! read more

PROMPT POLITE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENT ECONOMICAL Our 10+ year old second refrigerator in our garage (you know, for beer, sodas, bait, vodka, popsicles and the other grocery day overflow that doesn't fit in the indoor fridge) suddenly stopped cooling. Patrick diagnosed a faulty relay and fixed it in short order. We'll for sure call him again when we need something repaired. PROMPT POLITE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENT ECONOMICAL read more

Our built-in microwave quit working after moving into our house and, despite my attempts at being cheap, my husband refused to fix it. I called our home warranty service and they sent Patrick out. We were given a 2 hour window from 11am-1pm. He called at 10:30 saying he was on his way and showed up at precisely 11am. I'm glad we didn't attempt the fix because built-in microwaves are a little more complicated that I assumed. But as others have mentioned, Patrick was quick and efficient. He was also professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. I won't hesitate to call him again the next time we need something fixed! read more

After 6 weeks of a washing machine issue... I'm currently doing laundry! That means Patrick did the job! Prompt, professional and pretty dang awesome! He came early in the day, diagnosed the problem and came back later with the part my machine needed. I'm very happy! Also he didn't charge a ridiculous amount, totally affordable. If you're still wondering about what repair man to choose... Just know, not only does Patrick know what he's doing but my dog who is very feisty and not always receptive to strangers ran up to Patrick and within 5 seconds, he had a new best friend! Dogs can sense bad things, but obviously my dog knew this was a good thing! Thanks Patrick! read more

I called Apple Appliance Repair yesterday. Patrick answered when I called the first time and came out the next day. I had previously called another company about a week ago and never got a call back after I left a voicemail.. so it was great that Patrick was on top of things! All 4 burners on my stove stopped igniting and the spark module needed to be replaced. Patrick was very nice and engaged in conversation. His labor is guaranteed for 60 days and the part for 1 year. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I thought the price was a bit steep for something that only took 30 minutes to repair. However, he would have charged a $59 service call fee regardless and I didn't want to end up paying that for nothing just to get a different quote from someone else. I was charged $250 plus tax, so it came out to $275. He waived the service call fee for me since I ended up moving forward with the repair. I looked at spark modules online and they can run from $120 to $200, so perhaps this was a fair estimate.. but I can't say for sure since I'm not knowledgable when it comes to repairs. Credit cards accepted and the receipt is emailed to you for your records! read more

I called Patrick out to fix some broken rollers in my dishwasher which was an easy replacement fix, but he also helped me out with a broken drawer in my fridge. He saved me money on having to buy a new drawer by modifying the existing one so that it was working again. He was great to work with, prompt, and quick to return calls. read more

Our GE Mongram refrigerator went out last night, I actually called someone else first (Mike, at Expert Appliance Repair) and because his schedule was booked, he referred me to Patrick. Patrick came out first thing this morning, quickly assessed the problem and fortunately had the necessary part with him. He was pleasant and professional, and his price was quite reasonable. I highly recommend him! read more

We made the mistake of running a self-clean cycle on a 12 year old Kitchen Aid oven. The cycle didn't complete, but it ended up burning out the thermal fuse and rendering the oven inoperable. In other words, it wouldn't heat. Started researching for oven repair in Austin and found Apple Appliance Repair a locally owned company by Patrick Mohyde. I contacted Patrick on a Monday afternoon and he was able to schedule me for early afternoon on a Wednesday. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently. Price was very reasonable and I definitely will call Apple Appliance next time I break another home appliance. read more

Patrick answered the phone the first time I called and showed up exactly when he said he would, even giving me a courtesy call 30 minutes before. He fixed our fridge in no time and even cleaned the coils for us and checked for some other issues GE refrigerators are known to have that didn't relate to our problem at all. This was after I had paid him, so it wasn't like he was trying to run the clock or anything. This exactly how repairs services should be, I'll certainly be using him again if anything else comes up! read more

When our refrigerator went out, I actually called someone else first (Mike, at Expert Appliance Repair) and because his schedule was booked, he referred me to Patrick. He gave me the phone number, and I figured I would just run over to the grocery store, and give him a call when I got home. Well, apparently these guys work really well together, because Patrick called me on my cell while I was at the store, and let me know he could be out within 30 minutes! Patrick came out at 4:30 in the afternoon, quickly assessed the problem (who knew that refrigerators had heaters in them that could go out?) made a phone call to locate the necessary part, and was back the next morning to complete the repair. And, like someone else already mentioned, he gave me a courtesy call 30 minutes before he arrived. He was pleasant and professional, and his price was quite reasonable. I highly recommend him! read more

I can't say enough good things about Patrick at Apple Appliance. Answered my call, was honest and upfront. He got me a quote in writing IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. I couldn't even get a written quote from other companies. Don't waste your time calling anyone else. Thank you Apple Appliance!! read more

Patrick promptly returned my voicemail with a time frame he could come fix my dryer. He was there right on time. He diagnosed the dryer and fixed it and gave me a few tips along the way. Fair price, quick service, and done right the first time. He also made sure to check other parts of the dryer that I had not asked about just to make sure no other problems would persist in the future. read more

Had Patrick out again for an unrelated washer repair. Fast and reasonably priced. Great work. Thanks.

Wonderful and trustworthy! Patrick was able to come to my house the following day after I called. He fixed a clogged line in the refrigerator and checked the dryer for burning smell.
