TERRIBLE BUSINESS! I wanted to have some duffel bags embroidered with names and a cool logo as…read moregifts. This was the last week of August 2022. The man in charge was super friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the business. We talked through the ideas, made measurements and agreed on fonts, colors and logos. Considering that the holiday was coming up, he said it would be the second week of September 2022. I paid the deposit and looked forward to the finished product. October I emailed without a response and the next week I called. The same man said that to to trademark the logos couldn't be done, but if I ordered them from Amazon and mailed them to him they could be sewed on! I ordered the logos after I ended our phone call. As soon as they came in the mailed, I mailed them to Creative Stitches. We had agreed that I'd pick up 10/25/2022 because I would be near the shop and it's an hour and 15 min drive for me. That very day I went into the store to receive the duffel bags. The same man came to the front and proceeded to tell me that he hadn't even started on the bags nor did he obtain the 35$ worth of logos in the US MAIL! I was robbed of my time, effort and logos! Very very upset with the lies, run around and unprofessional manner in which this was handle!

When I walked in one of the 2 guys shouted hello from the register area. I proceeded to walk the entire store and looked at merchandise. I even stopped at the counter and looked because there was a helmet on the wall I was interested in. Of the three men now at the counter, no one said one word to me. I eventually turned and walked out of the store with no intentions of ever returning. Maybe I just didn't look like I needed help, maybe it's because I was a woman, or maybe it was because I'm black that I received no service. I can't really say for certain why I was ignored but it certainly wasn't because they were busy. I was the only customer in the store. I promptly told my friend who referred me that I'll never return. He's apparently had good experiences and decent service on his visits. Maybe because he rolled in on his Harley. I wasn't on my bike when I went in. I went to a different bike store and spent my $2k and received excellent service. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the store because customer service needs to be improved.

They had a great selection to choose from; everything everything from leather gloves and jewelry to chaps, helmets and patches and much more. The prices are very reasonable and they have a veteran's discount. Do you have patches that need to be sewn on or are you looking for patches? Not only do they sell a great selection of patches, they can sew them on for you. They also have a machine that can sew patches on pockets which is rare. The store has a pretty big collection of scrubs - I found that the specific light blue color that I needed was available but in a lot of brands my size was sold out. It is understandable to have this reaction when not being able to use a dress you bought for a special function. However, you have to realize the no return policy of most, if not all, places is normal. It is also a standard business practice of most consignment stores. I have been a loyal customer of Cottage Closet in Soddy Daisy for at least 10 years. The owner has a wonderful selection of "boutique" clothing and jewelry. She also has consignment clothing, shoes, and purses. She has helped me out several times by keeping an eye out for a special piece of clothing or accessory that I needed. CC's owner has always been very pleasant and honest in her dealings with me. I have never heard her speak rudely to any customer. CC's consignment collection includes formal dresses for homecoming, prom, and middle school dances. When girls come in for dresses, she helps them personally and is very fair in her business dealings. My daughter has experienced this many times. As a small business and consignment store, CC prides itself and their employees on helping these girls find their dream dresses. Her policy of not returning formals is a norm in this business niche. I will be continuing to give her my business long into the future.
