There were several in nearby towns but this one caught my eye. Many reviews had such sweet things to say about the spa and the owner Chantal. She was so gracious and accommodating, she checked with another therapist and arranged for the joint session. It was a beautiful drive to Athens and the spa was in a quaint little house just a few blocks from the main road. When we entered we immediately felt the peacefulness and serenity of this lovely spot. My massage with Chantal was perfect, she gave extra attention to all the areas I listed and as requested her touch was not too hard and not too soft; it was just right. As the session went on we chatted about family, Texas, food, and just life in general. At one point I noticed I had not heard from my sister. She was so relaxed she had dozed right off. But otherwise, expect to book 4-6 weeks out. --Follow her easy to understand email instructions to confirm your appointment by text, and also show up 10 mins early to appointment. That's not too much to ask. --I am 40 and have never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare this to. --I was surprised by how fun this experience was. Really pleasant and entertaining conversation. I felt like I made a real friend. --Viktoria asks some prelim questions about products you use and medicines you take. You change into a towel robe and the facial begins. I arrived at 3:50 and walked out at 5:30. --The extractions weren't that bad but the whole time I kept thinking how blotchy and red my face was going to look. But guess what? It was not blotchy or red at all! No redness whatsoever. She must be magic. --She did steam, extractions, a mask, infrared light, some other electric thing, moisturizer, massaged my head and shoulders, it was all really nice. Cost with tip was less than $100. --It doesn't matter if you go in wearing makeup or not. --Don't plan any workouts post facial- nothing where you'll sweat afterwards. --I have had no breakouts, no peeling, no negative after effects from the facial. My skin looks great. Even my husband said I looked younger. --There was no pressure to come back at any given interval, but I will plan to go every 6 weeks or so. I sat in the room while my daughter received the massage. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Mandy was extremely professional. She could not have done a better job for my daughter with asking questions and guiding her through the massage. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Mandy Barge. Also, Euphoria is a very beautiful salon/spa. The decor is very appealing and has a high end feel. We are so happy they are in Royse City. With their attention to detail we left at almost 5:30. Our workers made great conversation with us and we laughed and joked the whole time. They speak very good English which is a great plus when it comes to trying to communicate what you want. We both got a full service manicure and pedicure as well had our eyebrows waxed. The workers were very clean in how they worked. All the instruments came out of sterilized packages and my girl changed her gloves at least 10 times while she was working with me.
