I feel bad that their store is empty whenever I come in because they actually have really good stock and a great layout. I just found out over the weekend that we have a friend that started to work there, but we didn't know that beforehand. We have gotten a lot of rare items here and they seem to keep restocking with more useful things or things we're looking for!

There's a guy with long hair & a beard named Gavin, he must own the place. Never have I encountered such poor customer service. Not only does he talk down to his employees, he will speak to you in the rudest & most condescending manner you've heard. The first few times I thought maybe I caught him on a bad day, but it's happened much too many times. You have to see it to believe it! I can't believe somebody trying to sell products treats people like dirt. Absolutely worst customer service.

Those dirtbags at sherway never mentioned it is possible to place a hold on the items at another location. We drive to the Cloverdale location just to find out that some adult ladyboy named Greg just called in to place a hold on the Kinect. What a pain in the eh this Greg guy is. All we wanted to do is chop some fruits like ninjas Greg. Go eat a gherkin. The awesome trio of employees at this EB location went above in beyond and immediately had a Kinect located at the nearest store and requested a transfer of the item to the EB Games closest to my location out west. It is supposed to be ready for pickup tomorrow. Hope it comes thru, but even if it doesn't, the extraordinary effort made by these three was outstanding. Are you listening corporate? Give them raises! Customer service win! Thanks!

Oh and they got rid of their adult section, which raised the type of clientele in this location considerably. Their main clientele are people who find this a better deal then netflix (wait what?), who need to buy junk food or people who want to access the cable/cellphone section of the store to get some personal face time with a rogers employee and with the selection of phones and accessories they have. The store's cable section has really been maintained and I think the staff there are up to par with other service locations (I believe they are paid on comission too for turnover of new accounts and purchases (i.e. accessories and phones) so they have a vested interest). The video side is minimum wage labour with long hours. To be honest, the clientele aren't always polite either so I feel for these kids working here. Overall, video stores are obsolete but every once in a while you want to go and get a movie and pop it into your vcr/dvd/blu-ray and just enjoy a night in. So that's why I'm a fan...

This store has pretty much everything that you need as a traveller. Craving a snack? There's everything from sunflower seeds to kettle-cooked chips. Need a gift for someone? You can pick up a Toronto sweatshirt or a beaver plushie. Did your USB cable die on you? You can buy one here. Naturally, prices are slighter higher because you're at an airport. When you really need something, you suck up the cost. I was waiting patiently for a female staffer to finish stocking up one of the fridges that I needed to access. She moved and said hi. I said hi and was relieved that I could finally get a bottle of Diet Pepsi. It was cold. I was happy. I went to the checkout to pay for my item. The woman was efficient, but not exactly giving off any warmth. I used a debit card. I tapped and all was great. My drink was over $3. It did last me a few hours. I was so happy to have something to drink at long last. It hit the spot. I am thankful that this store was the closest one offering drinks after you pass through customs. Next time, when I'm not focused on quenching my thirst, I will leisurely browse around the store instead of blowing through it like a hurricane. (217)

sun·dry /suhn-dree/ adjective…read more1. of various kinds; several 2. diverse There may not be a more on-the-spot name for a store than this. At least the sundry part, because this place is chock-full of a voluminous and diverse collection of items the traveler might need ... or might not really need but making one last impulse buy before heading home. 6 and Sundry, a chain of convenience stores/gift shops are veiled in mystery. If they have a website, it's dang near impossible to find, and no one I talked to knows of a history. Since I could only find the two locations at YYZ, I can only guess that it is a concoction made in the business development laboratory by the mad retail scientists of Toronto Pearson International Airport. What is no mystery is the depth, breadth, and quality of their sundries. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better option for general airport shopping. The biggest magazine stand and bookshelf I've seen at the airport. The biggest medicine/health and beauty section I've seen at the airport. The biggest travel-item section I've seen at the airport. The biggest toy section I've seen at the airport. And its Canada-related stuff is impressive, from t-shirts, hoodies, hats, sweaters, etc., as well as the gigantic display of maple syrup-related goodies. When it comes to maple, the 6 & Sundry collection goes toe-to-toe with the best of the 60+ souvenir shops I've been to during my 9 days in eastern Canada. Sure, the pricing is a little high in spots. On the other hand, there's the occasional gem like 2 for $25 t-shirt and hat deal. Diverse and various kinds of items, with several options. The perfect way to define "sundry" ... AND to define 6 & Sundry!
