Friendly Staff, but not for me. I visited this location twice after knee surgery. Compared to another location I previously attended further south, this one felt very hands-off. It did not feel like a dedicated, patient-focused recovery environment. Instead, it felt more like therapy going through the motions to check boxes. I was never tested to assess how far or how much weight I could handle, and there did not appear to be a structured recovery plan tailored to me. The approach felt more like, "Let's see what we can do next," rather than having a clear progression strategy. When you complete an exercise, you are expected to wave and wait for someone to come over and suggest the next activity in order to fill the hour. My second visit was even more hands-off. No one stayed with me at the stations to ensure I was performing the exercises correctly or to make adjustments as needed. Perhaps those who rated this location five stars are either receiving more direct attention or are new to physical therapy and therefore may not recognize the lack of individualized plans . read more

I had a sprained MCL from martial arts and the team at Apollo helped me recover! With about 10 sessions at the Miramar location, I was pain-free and back to doing all of my weightlifting and sparring. Zeus, Sebastian, and Ricky challenged me with some great physical therapy exercises to help strengthen my knee and areas that provide support to my knee. I did dry needling every session, which I think helped a lot and ended each session with 10 minutes applying ice to the knee. Considering how early I was going before work, it was nice to see that everyone in this office has great energy, making physical therapy something to look forward to. They're super sweet and offered me coffee whenever they made some. If I get injured again, I know where I'll be going for PT. read more

It saddens me to post a bad review. However, the treatment I received at Apollo Rehab was appalling. My doctor advised them to go easy on me. They did not, and my foot was re-injured. Zeus and his staff are amazing! They actually make it enjoyable to come to physical therapy! Everyone is super friendly and very knowledgeable and understanding. Let me start by saying I have been to various physical therapy facilities for different surgical procedures and I can emphatically say that the treatment that I receive from at Apollo has been a blessing. Zeus and his staff are the best. As much as physical therapy can be a pain, they make the environment fun and support you like family. 3 surgeries in and I couldn't be in better hands. Stay away from this place if your elderly. They use 1 or 2 physical therapist and the rest are trainee's. I went there about 4-5 times. The last time the "supposedly" therapist was massaging my back. He pressed so hard he hit the same nerve that the surgeon had done a laminectomy on. Several days later I could hardly walk. I had to get steroid pain shots to relieve the pain. The real therapist work on the younger "more attractive" women. It is so obvious it would be funny if it were not so serious to your health. If your over 50, take my advice and find another place. There is a hospital associated rehabilitation at Memorial Hospital. I live in Miramar, I don't know why this post says San Francisco. read more
