I had (and still have) issues with my lower back (herniated discs), pelvis and knees. I have been in therapy for more than a year and I also needed regular epidural steroid injections to keep me afloat. I can honestly say that thanks to Tzveta, 3 years later, I am still applying the things I've learned and trying to get me away from having these injections so often (went from 3x/year to 1 injection/ year). This is coming from a young person who was left with low hopes in recovery or even somehow managing the pain. I have had the electrical muscle stimulation, the ultrasounds, massage, hot and cold packs and special PT exercise therapy. Under her special care I have improved tremendously and became functional. While seeing Tzveta probably for 1.5 yrs, I ended up going to a bigger facility due to an accident and insurance recommendation. At this new facility I haven't had the top notch treatment nor the results/improvements I have experienced while seeing Tzveta at Emerald Hills Physical Therapy. I had to show that facility that they are making me do exercises that hurt me more and leave me in additional pain, and I ended up doing my exercise/stretch routine at home to get any improvements.
This is why I highly recommend Tzveta. It wasn't easy, I cannot say I haven't had some rough days, but it's a matter of always practicing, a daily struggle for people dealing with pain, but well worth the improvements (and avoiding surgery for me, that might not be a guaranteed fix either).
I have also ended up having private yoga sessions with a very knowledgeable instructor. I cannot attend normal classes without being hurt, so integrative stretch treatment (IST) and supervised yoga stretches with a pro helped me. And I wouldn't even ended up here if it weren't for Tzveta putting me back together, being able to walk, drive and sit in a chair.
I have one con, which is not a real one: I wish I could have taken her with me when I moved! read more
