It's an OK small marina that allows live-aboard, as it has water, electricity, and a pump out station at each dock slip. They also offer dry storage. Their largest wet slip is about 35 foot. Old man Phil charges $10 to use the boat ramp to put your boat in or take it out of the water. The place has a tall chain link fence around it with barb wire on top and security gates that require a key code to enter, and they have security cameras, so it seems like its a safe and secure location. Very close to Tampa Bay waters, as it sit just inside on an inlet.

It would have been criminal not to put this marina at 5 stars. I bought a sailboat in this marina…read morewith a working engine, 2 weeks after I bought it the engine stopped working (classic). The mechanic I used took forever to fix it but the marina was so nice about everything. They transferred the slip, they checked in on me to see how I was doing, and I when I finally got the engine fixed (almost two moths later) they prorated my stay so I didn't have to pay another full month since I just a week into the next billing. Anytime I had a question they were there, whenever I needed services they were there, it was service with a smile since the day I bought the boat. The only reason I was there so long was because of the mechanic I used for the engine. It was not their mechanic. It's a special engine so it needed a special mechanic. I want to be clear that the work was not being done by the marina. Services are pretty good, they have free electric and water. They'll get you ice, they have pump out and water fill up and they have a full staff working on your boat for almost any type of issue or service. If they don't do it they'll point you in the right direction. I'm glad to leave but sorry this isn't my forever marina, at this point I have been paying for two slips for a couple of months. Heads up, I understand getting out into the bay is trickery if you have a deep draft sailboat.

They have a fuel dock they sell Rec 90 which is the recommended fuel for my boat, every time I come by for fuel they are very helpful tying up the boat helping feeling giving the boat and overall look see make sure everything is okay before I venture out onto the water. Overall I give this place to thumbs up and five stars for their wonderful staff and great help.

There were several trophies to be won such as for best decorated boat. Alas, my boat that we entered here did not win in the parade, but I still had a great time hanging out here with the other like minded boaters. This is a nice local place for boaters of all types to come together and meet with each other for special events or just to chat about the salt life. I have been here many times since then, and always met with friendly crowds. There were 40 of us signed up for the Christmas Boat parade. Several of the boats were really decked out very nicely with tons of lights all over them. My boat had the Frozen theme decorated and lighted up all over it. This is where we met and held our boater safety meetings to go over how to safely maneuver our large group through the the canals. It is a great local place for boaters to gather and plan boating adventures. If you live in the Apollo Beach area I recommend stopping by sometime for a meeting and see if it's something you would like to get involved with. As most of the houses in this area either have their own private boat docks or have boats docked at one of the marinas in the area.

The only reason I didn't give it a single star is because of its prime location. Unfortunately,…read morethey are well aware of their location and its value and the limited amount of competition. This is far and away the worst marina that I have ever used. It starts with a generally poor attitude from their employees who seem unable to keep up with the activity on busy weekends. On one occasion, I pulled up to a dock to tie my boat off and noted that the hose was cut in half and there was no way to attach a nozzle to it. When I brought it to the attention of an employee, he responded by saying, "welcome to port 32 marina" and shrugged. Countless times I have seen my boat placed on a bunk with weeds and grass still on it from the last trip (meaning it wasn't cleaned the time before). Somehow, despite the rubber on the docks, my boat seems to pick up new nicks and scratches every launch. I have no idea how they happen, but they are there. If you are lucky, when you get your boat, you will have raccoon tracks or other critter tracks on your boat when you arrive. When you mention it, an employee will say, 'yeah, we have some creatures living in the barn". Why they don't rinse the boat off for you when they put it in the water, I don't know, but it is definitely puzzling that they don't try to trap the critters and "relocate" them. The good news is, they charge you a premium price for the honor. Every single person I know at the marina complained about it, but seems to have no other choice but to keep their boat there.
