Great family owned business and very thorough without taking advantage of you. We had our 2013 Monterey with a Mercruiser 350 serviced and they went through it top to bottom. They were very professional and went through all the work they performed. My boat is on the water and not a trailer and they went the extra mile to meet me out by the Hwy 60 ramp to navigate us through the very shallow channel to their waterside facility. I have used Piper's Marine for the past 7 years and won't take my boat anywhere else. The owner, his wife and son are always helpful and accommodating. I have a 16 year old boat, so sometimes things break.They service it annually. On two separate occassions they worked my boat in very quickly for unexpected repairs and saved trips I scheduled. Once because I had company from out of town for a planned scalloping trip, and another where the fix was simple they handled almost immediately. On another occasion, my trailer hub failed and they came, took the boat and trailer to their shop and completely rebuilt the trailer even though they don't normally work on trailers. Piper's is a family business that has always treated me exceptionally well. I will continue to patronize them because they are honest, fair and provide excellenct service. So to set a few whiners straight that complain about things like letters on the side of their boat, let us talk about quality of work, that is timely in nature, and professionalism. That embodies what you will find at Pipers Marine. I was in Key Largo last year away from Tampa and my motor would not run well enough to go offshore. 3 days my boat sat in a repair shop while on our family vacation. The shop could not resolve the issue so we had to load our boat up and make the best of it. Upon return to home I took our boat to Pipers. they troubleshooted the problem and found we had a bad stator in less than an hour. Since that time I have needed other repairs and Pipers has always delivered. Don't be fooled by Craigslist driveway repair guys. You get what you pay for. believe it. read more
