A wonderful antique and curiosity shop on far S. MacDill below Gandy. Inside is a surprisingly large number of rooms to poke about.....old books, furniture, ornamentals, crockery, dishes, jewelry , religious art, old tools, walking sticks, statues, paintings, advertising lights, old doll-house furniture, military weapons & memorabilia, knick-knacks, old cans/bottles, early electric tools/appliances, and lots of surprises. Most items are attractively displayed in related groupings, and prices are very reasonable.....and undoubtedly subject to some negotiation with the friendly owner. A military discount is offered......sensibly since the shop is located very near MacDill AFB. Even if you are bent on buying, this is a pleasant place to wander, admire, and form some ideas for gifts, etc......and do not be surprised if you end up buying just a few fine items and leaving happy.

An English breakfast black tea and a caffeine free herbal tea. Sugar and honey to complement. You do get a few courses as well. Soup and scone to start off. Then a tower of sweets and savory sandwiches. The cucumber sandwich was so good. I LOVED the soup and scones. Everything is homemade, amazing! The service was so friendly and nice. Our server poured our teas and explained everything we were getting. It was very relaxed and no rush. It was a great experience and we definitely left full! I would love to come back here again soon. Anyway, I was looking for Buffy the Vampire Slayer graphic novels. Specifically Season 8 which happens to be the canonical continuation of the TV series. It's no longer published by Dark Horse Comics, and I wasn't about to pay the crazy prices for the ones listed on Amazon. I couldn't find them at first, and had to ask. The store is full of all kinds of comic memorabilia including action figures and games. It was a little overwhelming until I asked specifically where it would be. I was led to a shelf full of Buffy. I found quite a few paperback volumes that I was missing, and they were reasonably priced. They are also having a 30 year anniversary sale this month. I was able to get 30% off the graphic novels. The staff was also friendly and helpful. It's just a great place to get those hard to find items.
