The open bagels are def easier to eat- but a little disappointed they didn't stack the filling and toppings like a close bagel would have. The smoked salmon was delicious and loved the dill on it. The butter and jam was a classic but my bagel was toasted a little to crisp it was hard to eat. Def not my first pick for breaky or a bagel. But it's good to try.
Went to the viral sistersnacking hyped bagel shop and was disappointed. Got the sesame with butter and jam for six bucks. It comes out toasted with a thin layer of butter and jam. Overall, it tasted the sourdough contrast with the sweet jam. However, my bagel was very thin and was in between a bagel and a cracker. I guess my preference is for a little bit thicker failure bagel than this. Still good but I prefer pop bagels if anything. I would come back and try another bagel. Maybe I got unlucky and got a thin boy since I'm a thick boy.

It can get busy sometimes but i suggest you make your order online and pick up. Now, to the bagel. The sourdough base makes such a difference-- is perfectly crisp on the outside, light and chewy on the inside, and always tastes super fresh. You can tell the quality is there, not just in the bagel but in the ingredients too. My fav is the tomato and the salmon. But I've read the butter and jelly is amazing. I guess you cant go wrong with any of them. It's simple, it's clean and it just works. If you already know Apollo, you'll be happy is here. And if you haven't tried it yet-- definitely worth it!
Ordered: Bagel w Whitefish (~$17): creamy whitefish salad, crisp cucumber, pickled peppers, mustard and dill, on an everything bagel Bagel w Tomato w Scallion Cream Cheese (~$9): vine‑ripe tomato slices, olive oil & a sprinkle of seasoning, on an everything bagel Aya's take: Apollo Bagel has made its way to NJ, and I'm glad to say the quality & taste are up to par with their NYC locations. The everything bagel toasted to a satisfying crunch and loaded with everything seasoning. This was my first time trying the Bagel w Whitefish and honestly, it was great! The whitefish salad is lighter and less fishy than a tuna salad. It's also generously topped with dill giving it a citrusy bite on the backend. I actually liked the cucumbers and pickled peppers more on here. I've had the Bagel w Tomato w Scallion Cream Cheese before and it hit the spot again this time! I don't know how or why but it's so simple yet so good. This location is super spacious which is great if you want to enjoy your bagel while it's fresh. Definitely recommend trying it if you haven't yet!
Holy moly! Call me performative but this was genuinely an amazing bagel. We had it 30 mins post walking around Central Park after trying to find a nice spot to sit and eat, AND IT WAS STILL DELICIOUS! I got the tomato bagel with scallion cream cheese on a sesame bagel and Bf got the smoked salmon on everything bagel. I loved mine the best. It wasn't too bready, the bagel was yummy (like sourdough), the cream cheese wasn't too much, and the cracked pepper on the tomatoes was so delicious. I wonder if I could recreate this at home because it's so simple yet it was delicious.
We've been in this Apollo Bagels a few times now. We are so happy to have them in Hoboken! Such a great addition. The inside is spacious.. needs to be haha. It draws the crowds! The line to the register inside is a little confusing for some people I've noticed while standing and waiting for our order. The menu is very limited, which is nice to see. Makes ordering easy! I also love that they make their own fresh juiced oranges. Though I'm not one to pay over $6.50 for it haha. I'll do it myself for $2. We ordered the toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and toasted salmon everything bagel. The salmon bagel comes open-faced with cream cheese (a little skimpy last time), smoked salmon, capers, fresh dill, fresh raw red onion, and pepper seasoning. The bagel is made of sourdough. This is better for digestion/gut. We absolutely love it!! Highly recommend. We will continue to be repeat customers! Can't wait to try the whitefish next!
I was craving this specific bagel and it hit the spot. It's so simple but it just really really good. The tomato is juicy and nicely salted, and the sourdough bagel was soft and crunchy.
Got an everything bagel with cc. Bagel was warm, chewy and just the perfect amount of cc. Everything seasoning coated the bagel perfectly without it being salty. It was $5+ tax. I know people rave about the tomato topping but I can't stand raw tomatoes and I'm not a fan of lox so the plain cc was the perfect choice for me. Service was quick, cashier was friendly and helpful when I dropped my coffee trying to fix a shaky table. He swiftly mopped up the mess. Honestly, I really enjoyed this bagel. I thought this place was all social media hype but the bagel was airy, chewy and I saved half which I ate HOURS later and it was STILL good. If you're craving a bagel, this is better than the average choice. I usually don't care for bagels since I don't like the usual bready, doughy kinds but I'll be back to Apollo!
Super excited we got this spot in Hoboken. The week of their launch about two months ago, everything was sooo tasty and the portion sizes were great. I went again this past week and while the flavor was still good, they definitely started skimping out on the salmon and whitefish. There were parts of the bagel that wasn't covered and the salmon could've definitely used more. A shame. The flavor makes up for it, but hoping this was a one off and not indicative of them being cheap with their servings.
Okay they're actually really good. We tried the tomato and cream cheese and the salmon bagels. Both were very tasty. The tomato worked very well with the cream cheese and everything bagel. Very fresh. Sucks that there's always a line but I get why. Wish there was an easy way to order ahead or delivery.
Pretty good! Was glad to see they made it to Hoboken just as we moved away ;) luckily we still visit occasionally and were able to grab to-go last week! We ordered 1 Tomato ($7) cream cheese, olive oil on plain bagel and 1 Smoked Salmon ($15) cream cheese, capers, red onion, dill on everything. It tasted very fresh and very good! Pick up experience was easy and menu is limited so it's not overwhelming. Hope they do well!
Apollo Bagels is one of the best bagel spots in Hoboken and in NYC. Bagels are truly phenomenal with a crispy outside and soft inside. The everything topping coats the bagel completely. I tried a tomato on top for the first time and not only is it gorgeous, but so tasty. Prices are on par with other bagels/bagel sandwiches in the area. The vibe in here is great.
Ordered to pick up and enjoy at the bar across the street. 10/10 bagel. Scallion cream cheese on everything with perfectly thin sliced tomato. Salt, pepper, olive oil. Incredible. Fast service & the store itself inside was clean and large.
So happy I finally got to try these bagels while visiting NJ! I've been obsessed with open face bagels lately and after visiting Courage Bagels in LA, I was eager compare the two. I got the Smoked Salmon bagel and it was amazing! I wish you could mix and match bagels because I would have loved to try the Tomato bagel as well but I'll just have to come again! Seating is limited here but once you order your food comes out quickly making it a great grab and go option. read more

Apollo Bagels is one of my go-to spots for bagels in NYC! We ordered an everything bagel with smoked salmon, as well as a bagel with butter and jam. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Interior is nice with framed photos. Even though there was a long line, the staff were organized and efficient, so we received our order surprisingly quickly. Seating is limited, though, so be prepared to take your food to go, especially during busy hours. read more

Wow. What a delicious salmon bagel. I swapped out the regular cream cheese for scallion (my fave) and my first bit in -- I was in for a treat! That'll I'll be back for more of, soon! It was so incredibly delicious and filling! Loved it. I'll definitely be back to try the others but it'll be hard to try something else when the salmon bagel was SO GOOD. Service was friendly and quick, too. Only about 4-6 small tables inside that are very close together -- as a mom with a baby, not really my thing. I need my space so I enjoyed this bagel outdoors at a nearby park, instead. read more

oh yes. pricey but worth it. Get a coffee from your favorite spot, pick up a tomato bagel - that is perfectly toasted every time - and have yourself the best morning. Every single time I visit my sister I make her go! Orange juice is also tasty :) read more
Was excited to try Apollo Bagels after it opened in Hoboken and finally made it in, though a bit later in the day. They're open into the afternoon, which was clutch, but by around 4pm the full menu wasn't available understandable given the time. I went with an everything bagel with cream cheese. Solid bagel, not the most mind-blowing I've ever had, but it definitely hit the spot. Staff was friendly, and it came in under $5, which is a win these days. I'd say it's a solid bagel spot, and I'll probably be back to try a breakfast sandwich next time. read more
Went here after my first Apollo experience in NYC. This was literally the next day! That's how good apollo bagel is. Also, good news- both spots had consistently good quality. I split the salmon and white fish with my friend. The salmon was literally the same as the day before which made me happy. The white fish was good- BUT I needed more pickled peppers for it to really hit. read more

I'm from out of town and East coast bagels may have ruined all other bagels for me. West coast just can't compete! I ordered the everything bagel and it was so fresh- crispy on the outside, but soft and doughy on the inside. Just the way I like it! They're so generous with the cream cheese too. The best part was the freshly squeezed orange juice. I love that they don't add any ice, so you actually get a full cup and it doesn't get diluted. Everything was so good, I came back and ordered it again the next morning. I wish I could eat this every morning. read more
Apollo Bagels has jumped the river from New York to Hoboken and I couldn't be happier. I try to stay current in the bagel trends that sweep social media, and I can say Apollo bagels is the only one to live up to the hype for me. The bagels are sourdough style and crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, I am not sure I'll be able to order a bagel anywhere else now that Apollo Bagels is in Hoboken. I wanted to hate this place, but I cannot. These are the tastiest lox bagel sandwiches I have ever had. Maybe it's because they poured some kind of oil or vinaigrette over the normal lox and capers but whatever it is it is delicious and different. It is $15 for a lox bagel sandwich, but they are very filling and can be easily shared by two adults. read more
