A-A Appliance fixed my refrigerator but the water line broke after pushing the refrigerator back in…read moreits place. Water leaked for 3 days turned into an insurance claim for me, about $10-12k in damages. Hardwood floor, baseboard, drywall and all ruined and some cabinet damage. Even though I have a case to put the burden all on him, after multiple attempts asking Terry to just pay half of my deductible and not involve his insurance, he never responded to me. I will update this and hope to say he stepped up and did the right thing but currently I would not recommend them. Owning up to all the possible things that could go wrong when repairing other people's things is counting the cost of having and running an honest business. Update: I did hear back from Terry and we are still negotiating how to settle this between us. Unfortunately the original fix to the refrigerator is not fixed. He offered to refund me what I paid. This is doing the right thing and a step in the right direction to share my deductible expenses. An update on the kitchen fix too. Phase 1 water mitigation was $5,000. Phase 2 repairs to the kitchen is $18,000. 5/22 Update: I haven't gotten the $375 back from the fix that didn't work for my repair. Terry told me 8 days ago he would refund me but I still don't have my money back. I really wish all this could've been worked out between us and my comments here would've reflected a better experience. After research and the simple facts of exactly what happened there is overwhelming evidence of his liability and how this will end up. It's unfortunate because a lot of this could've been avoided.

Our Samsung dryer started making some pretty awful noises, and after one failed DIY attempt (plus a…read moreziplock bag of "extra screws" ), we knew it was time to call a professional. Broad Ripple Appliance came highly recommended by a friend, and they absolutely lived up to it. Scheduling was quick and easy, I spoke with Brad, who got me set up for a next-day appointment. They do charge a standard $70 diagnostic fee, which felt fair. Brad gave me a heads-up call before arriving and showed up right on time. Even better, he came fully prepared with the tools and the replacement part needed, so he was able to fix the dryer on the spot. You can really tell he takes pride in his work with great attention to detail, and he even shared some helpful maintenance tips for the future. Best of all, the dryer was fixed the same day, and reassembled properly this time, with no "extra" screws left behind. Fair pricing, friendly service, and high-quality work. They do accept credit cards, but recommend cash or check to avoid a 3% fee (which gave me a reason to dust off my checkbook). Highly recommend, and we'll definitely use them again--hopefully not anytime soon!

We had completed a manual defrost twice in two weeks and water was still building up under the basket in the bottom of the freezer. Eric came in and got right to work, within 15 minutes. He had all kinds of pieces laying on the floor and he diagnosed it as the drain line being frozen up, not clogged. He was able to get it back together and working again, even less than an hour. part of the problem is we had the temperature set too low. We were very impressed.

My washing machine was making a weird and very loud noise so I called them. They were able to schedule me to fit into my busy schedule. Fixing the noise turned out to be a simple job, no parts, minimal labor. What impressed me the most was the high level of knowledge and experience of the technician. I learned my washer is near the end of its life cycle because some components are worn out. It makes more sense and would be more cost effective to replace the washer than replace the worn out parts. I can still use the machine and do my laundry but I now know my timeline of when to replace the machine. My out of pocket expense today was the $119 basic service call charge because no parts were needed and the labor to repair it was very minimal. I was notified 30 minutes in advance of their arrival time.
