our child had one session at this ABA clinic after months of paperwork and back and forth…read moreconsultations. we arrived 13 minutes early and no Ken answered the door so I called and we were told to wait in the car. appointment was at 3pm. at 3:08 we called again and realized we were at the front parking lot and had to be at the back parking lot. we drove around and I brighten my child to the door. my child was a bit antsy because there was a huge storm coming and started so he didn't want to go inside with me but I reassured him he will be safe and it's just rain. the therapist took him i picked him up later. he had a good time. I was perfectly fine leaving w my child until i received 2 voicemails about our experience. at first it sounded decent but it got to a 4 hour back and forth " interrogation" about things I didn't ask for all the way up to being accused on making social media post which we didnt make. I asked for a screenshot of this but wasn't provided with it. i informed the owner that we are not interested in " hearsay " and all the extra drama that has been going on at their clinic mixed with previous employees and since that day we have been ghosted by the clinic and my child has not received services after we took months worth of time to fill out paperwork and wasted our insurance clerks time as well to approve everything. We didn't care to make a review but since we have already been falsely accused might as well now share our experience with the clinic . We would have loved to experience services for our child in a professional setting but we are still hopeful that we will at another location

I strongly advise against doing business with Bill…read more In my experience, Bill does not conduct business in good faith. Of note- he is not a CPA but is just a tax preparer. There is a huge difference. His services wasted both my money and a significant amount of time, and the ordeal caused prolonged and unnecessary stress. Throughout the engagement, there was no evidence of quality assurance or professional accountability. When problems arose, instead of addressing them, Bill demonized me as a customer and refused to take responsibility for his own failures. His communication was patronizing and pompous, and his overall demeanor made an already difficult situation worse. After things went sideways, Bill escalated the situation further by harassing me online rather than resolving the matter professionally. Based on how this was handled and the lack of services actually delivered, the experience felt deceptive and exploitative. In my opinion, this was a complete misrepresentation of services, and I regret trusting him. I would never work with him again and encourage others to proceed with extreme caution.

TL;DR: Bill is the worst kind of tax preparer you can do business with. He is not committed to…read moreproviding quality service and appears to be driven solely by greed. In my experience, his attitude shifted completely after receiving the initial payment. As others have mentioned, he was pompous, arrogant, and disorganized. He operates his business out of fear and foolishly chases pennies while missing out on larger opportunities. Had he provided even basic customer service, he could have built a loyal client for years to come. Instead, I would never do business with him again and strongly encourage you to consider this review (based on my direct experience with him) a major red flag. Working with Bill was absolutely egregious. I hired him primarily to delve into and complete a specific tax strategy for my real estate portfolio--an area in which he claimed to be an expert. Our initial phone conversation went mostly well. I felt confident that I found a tax professional who understood and would cater specifically to my tax needs. Boy, was I wrong. Less than two weeks before the tax deadline, he told me I needed to contact my previous CPA to essentially complete the work I had hired him to do (applying a cost segregation report). This put both me and my former CPA in a difficult position with the deadline fast approaching. Bill suggested workarounds, but they required amending multiple tax returns, adding even more complexity to an already stressful situation. Had he simply paid attention to the information I initially provided--instead of trying to pass the responsibility or get another person on the hook for money --we wouldn't have ended up in this position. Speaking of attentiveness, this was an area where he demonstrated very little proficiency. I had to remind him repeatedly about my specific tax situation, which was clearly documented via email. The process of submitting documentation to him was convoluted. He requires clients not only to upload documents but also to manually enter that same information into his software--creating unnecessary work and stress for the client. As if matters couldn't get any worse, Bill has been harassing me online because he is frustrated that I won a chargeback dispute due to key evidence that he purposely withheld crucial tax documents from me. It was also concluded and confirmed -with the IRS - that he did not file one of the tax returns that I paid him in full for.

I regret ever using them. I scheduled an appointment, but when we arrived, no one was available until they saw we might leave and quickly assigned us to Diane. They charged about 10 times what TurboTax costs for both returns and never even filed them electronically. I only discovered this when my daughter didn't receive her refund. Two months later, I called and learned they never submitted the returns, so mine ended up being almost two months late. I asked Diane in early June about some type of refund, and she said she'd speak to the owner, Johann, but I never heard back. When I followed up, I was told he was on vacation and to call again in July. I tried multiple times, even sent messages through the website, but got no response. On July 16, I went in person to speak with Johann, who said he'd check on my daughter's late return, which caused her to get a late notice and charges. But once again, he never followed up, and my later messages also went unanswered.

(Who's also having communication issues, btw) Paid $1400 to rectify 4 years of back taxes. No, he didn't go the distance to maximize my refund, but that's another story. My problem - unless you're a major client or business owner that may have recurring tax liability on a monthly basis, you can forget about any customer service after you've filed your taxes with Mr. Reckley, as an individual. Right now, because of his inadequate communication since April 2021, I'm looking at over $2300 in unpaid taxes because my 2017 taxes weren't mailed to me. Further it wasn't made clear, I needed to download the documents I signed to mail them myself vs him telling me his admin was sending me the documents! And to take it further, the 10+ calls, messages and text messages went largely unanswered over the last few months to help me understand what needed to happen! I paid a CPA because I'm NOT a CPA, to trust their counsel. I will NOT recommend this firm if you're expecting Mr. Reckley to volunteer counsel on the paid service after he's done work. He's wiped his hands and on to the next - blaming his inadequate corresponce to 24/7 meetings! I got around to locating his office number (which he could have advised me to do months ago if he was that busy) and spoke to Juliette who was an absolute jewel in getting me closer to closure with this issue. She help me more in a single day than Johann has done in 4 months. Finally, after months of trying to chase this down, his admin team got to the bottom of it and mailed my returns. Fingers crossed that this resolves my tax liability. Very unhappy and I will never use, nor recommend his services to anyone!
