I love to dance and I had begun to dance again to lose weight but my knees were screaming. In the beginning I was very frustrated. I've had knee issues forever. I was born with hypermobile knee caps and they are too high up. I cried because the straight leg raises hurt a lot. Now I can do a lot more before pain starts. I can tighten my quads now without having to hold my knee caps (to prevent them displacing). Now I can walk faster and longer without stopping all the time. I feel stronger. It is clear a lot of thought went into how they designed the office and studio. My favorite parts of my experience with physical therapy is the use of their gravity treadmill (it's so cool!), the electric stimulation and the laser therapy. Joe has used his expertise to have me back and running again and doing great at my races. I listen to his advice to keep my knee healthy with my upcoming marathon. I've been going for about 2 months now and I have to say I'm glad I finally did it. Vertika is an amazing PT! Even though she makes me work hard, it is all worth it at the end. Every single person here is experienced, dedicated, friendly, & truly takes the time to educate you. Right now I'm working with Arielle, who is absolutely one of the best in terms of telling you what's going on with your injury & why certain movements will help/hurt. I've been gaslit a LOT by doctors so I'm always on edge but I've never felt anything but compassion from the team here. I'm also a big fan of the new compression leg thing! The space is huge and they're super good about cleaning equipment!
