Also,…read morethis location is in a good school district and feels well-maintained, safe, and well-resourced. The facility is bright, clean and modern. The staff members are welcoming and friendly. The care team here is patient, kind, reliable, caring and understanding. The doctors accommodate my special needs by extending my appointment times to 30 minutes when needed. One experience especially stood out to me. I passed out at the reception area, and another patient immediately called for help. The nurse and nurse practitioner immediately came out, helped me onto an exam table, and stayed with me until I fully regained consciousness. They showed genuine concern for patients safety and well-being, and the nurse practitioner even escorted me out to the parking lot afterward. That level of compassion and attentiveness meant a lot to me. I have had very different experiences in the past at Charles B Wang Community Health Center, an Asian clinic, and that's one of the reasons I decided to move my care to NYU Langone. Here I feel safe, respected, supported and taken seriously as a patient. About 90% of the patients here are White, 2% Asian, 5% Hispanic, and 3% African American. Around 70% were born in the USA and came to the U.S. before age 12, 80% came from highly educated families, and 70% are financially well off. I am pleased with the quality of care here and feel comfortable coming here. Even though I am always the only Asian person here, I felt welcomed, safe, respected, and supported, especially as a person with a disability in that environment. As a person with a degree who values quality Healthcare, I highly recommend this NYU Langone facility.

It's just 10 minutes from my house off the parkway and there is plenty of access getting here. One very large parking lot easily accommodated all the folks inside. It is BIG... and old Waldbaums supermarket. Inside it is a large bright welcoming facility. Four doors as you walk in. Two on left and two on right. Depending on the type of medicine you need you go through your assigned door. They have a very long counter with many team members to check you in and prep you. We sat for a few minutes until my wife was called in. She loved her new doctor (Orthopaedics) and was given a shot and a prescription. She was very comfortable with the quality of her car throughout. This all went very smoothly and we were on our way out. These new facilities are the future of medicine and it looks like it's taking a positive step forward. He was exceptionally patient, professional, and respectful when speaking with my grandmother, who has mild dementia. He treated her with genuine kindness and dignity, making her feel comfortable and heard. It meant so much to see someone take the time to communicate with her so thoughtfully. Thank you to Ricky and the entire team for the excellent care and compassion you showed our family. We are truly grateful.

Our first night there she needed help and they left her unattended for almost an hour. They forced her into a diaper even though her surgery after care said absolutely no diapers. She was constantly uncomfortable and not listened to. I found multiple roaches in every room we set foot into. On top of all of this my mother is deaf and they refused to get her an interpreter. They gave her a white board on the first day to communicate and when I returned the next day it was on the other side of the room... making it impossible for her to use. When I insisted she needs an interpreter for effective communication, they simply gave her a tablet THAT SHE HAD TO USE BOTH HANDS TO USE. Famously deaf people need their hands to communicate so this did not work and they did not offer a solution. At one point they caused her wounds to open and she was bleeding all over her body. They insisted that I come in and interpret so she wasn't scared.... hmm seems if they needed me they also needed an ACTUAL INTERPRETER. Please please do not send your loved ones here. My mother and I are still traumatized from our experience and I wouldn't wish what we went through on anyone. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could.

My arm only got worse to the point I couldn't move it or even just sit without horrible pain. If I had 6 hours to go sit in a hospital I would have done that, and was about to be forced to do that until I found this place. Having a 7 month old plus being a stay at home mom, I need use of my arm! As my mother called so many doctors in the area everyone was like oh next week etc even as she explained the situation. I couldn't even hold my son anymore, I couldn't even lift a fork to feed myself or feed my baby! Anyway my mom was told about this dr by a friend, called and got me a same day appointment!!!! She called at least 10 other doctors in the area btw. With everyone oh next week we can get her in. I got right in here, and I can't even stress the relief I had after seeing the doctor. Cortisone shot yes! I had a huge calcium deposit in my elbow! Which was causing the extreme pain. Anyway hopefully I am good now, we shall see but still I will forever rave about this doctor for saving the day. I also got right in, maybe a 20 minute wait the first time? As my hubs filled out paperwork for me (I couldn't hold a pen) I think all doctors should have emergency appointments like this place did. Like I could just wait a week to be able to use my arm? Not only was I in pain but try explaining to a 7 month old why suddenly his mom can't hold him :( it was just the worst 2 days of my life. I only wish I found this doctor sooner! Such a nice doctor too. Whole experience was just amazing. Hopefully I won't need surgery but if I do, this doctor is amazing.

Multiple dates of service were denied because they did not enter the correct CPT codes and when my Health Insurance requested updated information, they simply ignored multiple letters that were sent to them. Left messages for her to call me back, which were never returned and when I finally reached her and questioned why she did not return my call she blamed the friendly front desk. I repeatedly questioned the mistakes and asked her to resubmit the claims, she became frustrated and told me this was something she did not understand, which is a sad excuse for the owner of a business to actually admit. Not only did she not understand she took no steps to understand and did not help me with the situation. I am writing a yelp review in hopes that this wakes them up and they learn how to submit claims and bill correctly. Oh and 6 months later and they still have not submitted the claims correctly.
