Being that it was not a full piece of laminate, one would think that it was obvious that the board was not new, nor do they sell single pieces of halved laminate. Two days later in Garden, I purchased a plant on a trellis for 69.95. He asked me if the trellis was included in the price, I told him it was.Because the fact that the plant was wired to the trellis in the pot. I paid for my purchase. As I was leaving, he stops me by the door, to scan a different label on the trellis to double check with the scanner. I was in retail back in the day, and when you started a job back then, they hgave you some idea of the products that were sold. Marc Fairbanks came out, surveyed the area, came up with a plan and a quote, and a message stating "you will be extremely satisfied with our job and company when complete". I must say being in and around contractors for 45 years I thought "I have heard it all before". Anyway, we decided to go with Fairbanks and let me tell you, from start to finish, all of their workers and office personnel were top notch. what a professional staff and completely flawless job they performed. looked beautiful when complete. They showed up when they said they would, accomplished what they said they would, without incident, and provided a finished product that they guaranteed they even gave us information and suggestions on other aspects of our driveway. Both locations are always very helpful. If they don't have what I need, they can usually get it within at least a day or two, or, at most, a reasonable amount of time. On those rare occasions that I don't know what it is I need or how to solve a problem, they are always glad to help identify a part or suggest a solution. If I am too vague about what I want or I have omitted information about what I need, they always ask questions to make sure I get the right part. Both locations are very convenient for me because I do most of my work in the Chico-Oroville-Paradise area.

I asked a question and he'd give me an answer for a different question (that I wasn't asking). I felt like he was he was making me wrong, sort of a scolding tone, whiny attitude, for me not knowing much about electricity (which is true, I don't know much about electrical stuff) and he was too argumentative for my liking so, I left and will take my business elsewhere. I'm rebuilding from the Camp Fire and need to wire a house, an ag' bdlg. and two other out bldgs. so that's a chunk of change that Dan's in Oroville won't see from me. On an earlier visit, at the Chico location: A different story there. The guy at the counter was great, very helpful, I bought a ton of stuff there. 5 stars for the Chico location and 2 stars for the Oroville location. Oroville seemed to have a lot items and if you know exactly what you want, or you're an electrical contractor you may not notice the customer service. If you're looking for good customer service: I didn't find it at the Oroville location, so 2 stars. I've also had very good customer service from Ozzie at Lowe's electrical dept. in Chico.
