We ordered everything shortly after Hurricane Milton and everything came in on time and they started work as expected. We have remodeled our 30 year old house pretty much from top to bottom now and I must say, of all the trade company's we have worked with, I do not recall a better experience overall from any of them. The owner Darrin came out and gave us a competitive quote (I got 5 total and they were in line with the lower of 2 others). You could tell from talking with him he is a strong believer in quality and has high standards. Maria in the office was fantastic, she is a very pleasant lady who handled all the paperwork and logistics flawlessly. The install team led by Dylan was amazing. The communication was really top notch. They showed up on time, he explained daily what they were doing, performed the work with expertise, covered our furniture when necessary for removing certain components, and they cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. When it came time for our inspection from the county, the inspector actually commented on how well the windows and slider were installed, and how good of quality the product was; He quoted the minimum ratings for Impact glass and highlighted how much more ours exceeded these minimums. He really sounded impressed which was pretty cool. This was so great to hear from someone who inspects windows every day, on the largest investment we have made in our home! All in all, I wish I could say all of this about every project we have had done on our home, as construction frequently is not a perfect process, but with Affordable Windows and Doors everything went great, and we were very happy with everything. I trust you will be in very good hand with them and fully recommend them.

The workers were super friendly even being so kind to our child who loved watching them work. Lipton Window and Door has been a pleasure to work with! My wife and I hired them to replace 32…read morewindows and the front door and sidelights. All of the new windows and doors are high impact PGT. We had purchased a historically designated property and had to jump through a lot of hoops to get the windows approved, including a public hearing (which changed to a Zoom hearing thanks to COVID-19). Because of the bureaucratic process, it took longer than expected, through absolutely no fault of Lipton. More importantly, Lipton keep us informed and helped throughout the entire process. Greg in sales was excellent to work with and definitely helped to ensure we got a good deal on the windows. We had shopped around multiple quotes and Lipton did the best and beat the rest. Jeff, the installer, was efficient and extremely hardworking. It took a couple days to complete everything but frankly it was completed faster than I expected. Tim, the owner, personally came out to the property on multiple occasions, including to meet with the historical people, participated with us in the public hearing, and was very hands on, patient with the process, and extremely communicative for being the owner! Tim went above and beyond and we are very thankful for all his help. We did decide to finance the windows and went through Greensky. Due to delays caused by the historic designation and COVID-19, the window for the purchase closed before the job was done. Greensky assured us about 2 months before the purchase window closed that it could be reopened for the final charges once Lipton was complete. That process was a wreck and extremely difficult. All of that blame goes to Greensky. Despite those frustrations, Tim and I took turns calling Greensky multiple times a day for about 2 weeks. Finally Greensky was able to comply with the request (that they previously assured us would be no problem). Tim was very helpful with the entire process and I am thankful for his patience in waiting for the final payment as we worked together to fight against the corporate roundabout that Greensky kept giving us! I am so thankful for the amazing work and extremely diligent customer service that we received from the entire Lipton team!

One thing it was not lacking was vendors for hurricane rated windows and doors. We scheduled and obtained bids from three companies and though we were shocked at the cost, we thought it was something we needed to do. During the week that I was reviewing the proposals, I was referred by a friend to another company and I asked if they could provide an estimate as well. What a fortuitous introduction that was! Enter Tomer Milol, President of Crystal Clear Windows & Doors. Unlike the high pressure salespeople I had been meeting with, Mr. Milol quietly and intelligently laid out pros, cons and pricing for the various grades of windows and doors available in the marketplace. Ultimately, I decided on the PGT WinGuard product for my windows and ProVia for my doors. As compared to the other proposals for the same products, Mr. Milol was 15%-20% less even after including the other companies' "incentives". He made our job affordable! Installation occurred as scheduled and the work was impeccable. At the end of each day, everything was left spotless. Our new windows and doors are beautiful. Our house is much, much quieter, dryer, cooler and our FPL bill has dropped 10%-15% per month. Most importantly our home is safer! The quality and craftsmanship are excellent, and I now have a very happy wife...and yes, you guessed it...a happy life! Fast forward four years from my initial review above and enter Hurricane Ian. At our home, we had sustained winds of 110-120 MPH with gusts to 130 MPH. As compared to Hurricane Irma, Ian was stronger and longer at our location and yet, as a result of Crystal Clear's installation of our hurricane windows and doors, we couldn't even hear the storm! Needless to say, we felt safer and more secure. If you know the story of the Three Little Pigs, you can just call us the brick house pigs, because that "wolf" named Ian huffed and puffed and got nowhere with us. I can't begin to describe how pleased we are with Tomer and his team. We highly recommend him...let me be "crystal clear"...CALL THEM! Gary R. After checking with local building officials, I learned some of the details and requirements he gave about our project were wrong. After meeting with Tomer, we chose not to move forward because there were too many red flags. This is my opinion and experience.
