Once I arrived to the office so frazzled at this point to check in, I had a very unpleasant greeting that consisted of an an eye roll stair down by one lady and the other lady at desk said I am too late and now need to reschedule, I told her I am sorry and I called the office 2x updating them that I still planned on attending my appointment and she tells me that no one told her. I'm not sure where the calls are routed to who but wouldn't the secretary update the staff at that location you would be running behind. Anyway I was the only patient there at that time it appeared at 243pm and I feel I was turned away due to lack of compassion , understanding and empathy. This was my first and my last time going to see Dr. E on south Broadway in Lorain. I work in healthcare as well and I would never treat a patient that way. Please teach soft skills to the front office. ----no stars

I have had an issue in which this doctor has submitted false info to the insurance company to get…read morepayment for a different treatment he said was free of charge. He did the same thing with the exact information to another person I know . For one, I believe this is insurance fraud (does anybody want to confirm?) and secondly, it puts information on a person's health record that could hinder them from getting the best rate on their health insurance. Another time, I happily paid out of pocket for a cosmetic procedure because they said it would not be covered and I would have thought not . I received an EOB and found out it was submitted to my insurance company and paid to the doctor. Then, they were trying to bill me for a 20 minute new patient visit (it had been over 3 years since I was there). I don't have a problem with that but all he did was look at my back for 10 seconds to justify it. At that visit he rushed through the procedure so fast I could barely breath. I wanted to ask him some questions but he ran out quickly and I asked the nurse. I called and got my refund in the appropriate amount for the procedure and made them delete the charge for the visit. They were giving me a hard time about it until I brought up the previous issue of the false bilings to insurance, I would have put the posting out months ago but I was not familiar with these types of websites OH... and there are religious pictures and crosses all around the office. I find this to be quite hilarious and hypocritical

I was concerned about a spot for cancer, he looked at the spot for five seconds, and did a quick scan of my body maybe one minute, and he brushed it off and said you're fine. The (second) experience made me so nervous. I set up another appointment which I had to wait a long time for at University Hospital, where indeed yes I am fine however, they took an extra few minutes with me looking, and explaining, and that made all the difference.

I made an appointment with Dr. Bishop because she put the implant in during reconstruction surgery. Even with no implant being palpable because all fluid leaked out, she refused to help me. She refused to order the MRI to confirm. Instead, she told me that women live this way for years and that I should just live this way.... with one deflated breast. In 2022 she canceled a surgery a week before with no call or warning. I called the office to find out where to go for my covid test and I was told my surgery was canceled weeks prior. When I inquired Dr. Bishop about it she berated me. She does not listen to patients concerns. Her bedside manner is terrible. She treats your entire appointment as an inconvenience to her. The only thing she is good at is making you feel Dismissed, unheard and not worth her time.
