Unfortunately, he moved out of state and the doctor that I had to go to after him was pretty much worthless. He didn't listen, I never saw him and only saw his nurse, and he refused to give me anything that would work to treat my pain so I suffered for years. I've been with Dr. Shah for about 4 years now and he is amazing! He and his staff are kind, compassionate and great listeners...everything a pain management office should be. I've never been made to feel like a drug seeker and he's always been willing to try a variety of treatments with me until we found something that works. I have recommended many friends to his office and they have always been pleased. If you are looking for a great pain management doctor I absolutely recommend Dr. Shah!

I have also experience receiving collection notices several times from the management group that…read morehandles their billing. I check my insurance and they have made payment and should be a zero balance. The confusion is my health equity line sends it directly to Dr Russell and Assoc. so it does not reach the management group. For some reason the office does not inform the billing group so they just send out collections. I have asked the management group to call the Assoc and they wont do that. There is no direct line to call for the Assoc to ask them to clear it up. Soooo.... I end up having to have my equity line fax the information over to them. It's a pain. Not happy with the lack of communication between the drs and the management group.

Very poor billing service. We did not get a bill which I explained to "Maui", only something from…read morea debt collector. I asked "Maui" at Russell and Berkebile if she could give me dates on when the insurance paid and when they "supposedly" sent me a bill for the $48 balance. 30 days! Who sends a bill to collections after 30 days!? They billed one time, which we did NOT receive. I asked her if they had a portal so I can keep an eye on my own account, since they aren't doing very well at billing and she said no. So our only choice is to depend on a company to bill us, or say they did, to get our bill. This is the craziest billing practice I have ever heard of! Make sure your patients get their bill before sending it to collections Russell and Berkebile!!!! Sham on you!!
