Went to RH location. They left decay and put a filling on top. My tooth started to look grey under the filling. Went back to my old dentist where they took photos to show me and fixed it. Talked to Lily 5/19 who told me the reimbursement request would be submitted and that I should expect the check 4-6 weeks. July 15th, sent text for status, no response. July 16th called and spoke to Lily who proceeds to tell me: she read my text and asked Barbara about it. It seems the lady who works remotely (they have a hard time reaching her) didn't submit the request. I then asked if I could speak w/Barbara and was told she's in a meeting. I then asked if there's a corp office she said there isn't one. She then told me looks like there was some kind of system problem so they need to resubmit the request and it will take the bank another 4-6 weeks to process it! I am beyond disgusted with the blame game. Dealing with this billing department has been horrific!! Now it's safe to say they're trying not pay me my money which isn't setting well with me at all. I will NEVER go near another Apex Dental again. *update Waiting for the bone graft to heal before proceeding w/the next step. The reason why I changed to 3 stars is because of their billing process. I've talked to the billing rep and front office on a few occasions because my insurance has been waiting since November for them to submit a narrative and provide the medical necessity so they can pay that portion of the claim and I pay my portion -so far they have not received it yet (I have NO clue why). The next step of this process is going to be more expensive and I can only imagine how difficult it would be for documentation to get sent to the insurer. I'm not feeling comfortable about proceeding w/this office right now! Just had my 1st visit for a tooth implant process and this was the extraction! Dr. S did a wonderful job, she numbed me up so well that she had to tell me when the tooth was extracted. She's warm and personable and patiently answered my questions-very transparent. I got a root canal and they did it so i felt no pain during my time with them. They were super kind and understanding while they were working on my teeth. Coming into the office was a pleasant experience since it was so nice to see friendly faces. I got immediately checked in and it only took a few minutes for me to get sent to the back. Dr.Sontakke was the one working on my tooth and she was really kind and finished my tooth within an hour. I looked for a long time to find a good dental place and I think I finally found it! Disgusting and unsanitary. This office is a disgrace. The floors, counters, utensils and even the waiting area is cramped and dirty. The staff is completely disorganized and I had to call them repeatedly to see if my insurance approval was in! Then they made an appointment and tried to charge me for what my insurance covered. The staff was too lazy to resubmit the correct information to my insurance. The wait is ridiculously long, and their cleanliness is certainly not a priority. If you want a disease or an infection, this is the place for you. Otherwise, this office should be burnt to the ground. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Apex dental. My first time was for a teeth cleaning sometime in December. I came In with my 3 month old completely scattered due to lack of sleep, and left my wallet at home just 10 minutes prior to my appointment. Not only did they hold my spot while I went home to retrieve my wallet, Upon my return nurses kept my son from fussing during the cleaning. 5 stars isn't enough for thIs establishment Update 1/28 Unfortunately at my last visit I was recommended to have a root canal. Just the thought of the procedure makes me think of cringe, first the drill you in the mouth and then again In the pocket. But to my surprise it was the complete opposite. Dr. Fuller and his team are amazing. 4 Words "PAIN FREE ROOT CANAL"! I didn't even feel the needle when the the numbing agent was applied. They had a special going and price wise I paid 950$, I felt this was more than reasonable my original dentist quoted me at 1650$. After the procedure we discussed after care and Dr. fuller even provided me with his personal number if I had any concerns. They provided a great service and care about the patients. Personally I hate writing reviews but I feel this place is special so the fact that my review made it this far is saying something. I had a tooth break underneath a permanent 20-year-old bridge from a previous dentist and decided to give Dr. Sontakke a try. I knew I could get everything taken care of at this one location. Dr. Sontakke removed the bridge, removed the remainder of the tooth, and made both a temporary and a permanent bridge. I am so pleased with the final results. Dr. Sontakke and her assistants were amazing, so friendly and sociable, and very willing to listen to my concerns and requests. I had to have Novocaine three different visits, in the front of my mouth which can be very painful, and she did the best I've ever had done. I am so happy I chose Apex Dental for this work. I think the staff members are very educated, but I feel uncomfortable sometimes. They are very loud. I feel like the entire lobby can hear information regarding your Insurance, and what you are needing during your visit. Sometimes the dentist speaks to you in a way that feels condescending. I was trying to set up an appointment but I found the staff to be very rude so I'm sorry but I'll be seeing another dental group.

Had a root canal on a Friday. Saturday was in pain and could not chew on that side of my mouth. No big deal, some pain was expected. Woke up Sunday looking like Quasimodo, face swollen from eyelid to chin. Called the office and instantly received a text stating to text them and that they monitor their text messages after hours. No call, no text back. A few hours pass and I pressed against my cheek and blood and pus oozed from my gum line where Dr. Sontakke performed the root canal. I text the office again, no response. At this point at least the pain and swelling start to subside but I am concerned I have an infection. I called the office first thing Monday morning and was told I'd get a call back, but Dr. Sontakke wasn't in the office. Four hours later, I call back to ask what they are going to do, call in a prescription or something. I am still in pain, still have swelling, might have an infection. Nothing. No call, no prescription. Texted after hours, no response. Last year I had a billing issue in which they charged me more than double what was quoted. This place has terrible service!
