I showed up 15 minutes ahead of my appointment, aware that my insurance information wasn't pulling for them, only to realize the mistake was my own. I had been giving medical insurance information instead. So when I got there and we worked it out, I was grateful. Fast forward 50 minutes that included another patient - who arrived after me - being pulled back and zero communication from anyone in the time following, I left. According to the other reviews, I'm sure they would have been great. That's why I chose them in the first place. Communication is key, especially after 45 minutes. A simple, "There was an emergency" or literally anything would have been fine. I had nothing to do following my appointment. We're expected to show up, on time, or risk losing our appointment. My daughter's follow-up appointment, recommended by the dentist, was cancelled without notice because I "didn't confirm," even though my previous appointment went forward under the same circumstances. No text reminder, no warning, nothing. When I arrived after taking off work and paying for childcare, the receptionist rolled her eyes at me in front of my child and offered no help. Only after I called back later was I told there was a same-day opening -- something they never mentioned while I was standing there. I came here for a Root Canal 3 years ago. Dr. Durrani performed it & it took a while. This week I found out that he failed to clean the area properly & I have developed a very serious infection because of this. I have now had to get a 2nd root canal & still have the possibility of losing the tooth. Posting this to save someone else from getting serious dental work done with him. read more

I've been to this office twice and had bad experiences both times. Not professional, not punctual, not clean. During my 2nd visit the "cleaning " I got lasted about 30 seconds and she covered about 10% of my teeth. I would not recommend anyone with options to go to this dentist office. read more

The Doctors are great and friendly and really take their time with me, the techs are super sweet and the front desk staff -- their always super kind and considerate. And I'm a bad pt. I forget appointments, late or too early, don't show up when I'm suppose to. But they're always nice. I hope your experiences gets better. read more

I'm talking about daily messages either through text or call even after you request to be taken off their call list. The customer service in this office is very poor and had it not been for maybe two of the staff, I would go further into having someone look into this office. While driving in, I noticed a white Tesla tailgating my daughters and I to only later discover that it happened to be a tall caucasian guy whom Id assume was one of the doctors there because he walked in shortly before my children and I got out of our vehicle wearing black scrubs. He scowled at us before snapping his head and entering the building. This was the first red flag. I later noticed the same guy walking within the rooms in the back seeing patients and too had this look of disgust on his face as he rolled his eyes at my children and I. I'm not sure why and I keep asking myself if I was driving too slow, or took his park maybe, or if it was just an issue with my race. I am aware that some cultures do not favor others and this behavior is so typical that I often carry recorders and remain vigilant for safety. We enter and all is well until we're called to the back by a girl named Autumn, the x-ray tech. She demanded that two of my children sit for a cleaning, before being xrayed or seeing the doctor, while she took one of my children out of my sight to another room. This was alarming immediately and I explained to her that my daughters hadn't been seen in awhile, they were nervous, and Id feel more comfortable if we all stayed together. My daughters are all under ten might I add. She interrupted me as I explained in a harsh tone saying that I can't be with my daughter while she took her away but I followed anyway. Another caucasian lady stepped in to assist Autumn with separating us in which again I disagreed and the frustration became clear to me from the staff. I told her that I will stay with them and she walked to the back of the facility. I noticed how aggressively Autumn snatched the guard from my daughters mouth and begin recording her. Once the xrays were complete, she walked to the back wearing the same gloves touching who knows what and returned with the lady that had walked away earlier to tell me that I can't record my children as she then attempted to start on my second daughter wearing the same gloves. At this point, I was extremely concerned. My children had informed me that they were afraid of autumn and so was I due to her very aggressive nature. We watched as the two gathered at the end of the hall with the doctor that Id mentioned earlier, gossiping about what had occurred, and cutting their eyes towards us. We were very terrified. Soon after Riah, came out to assist us and made us extremely comfortable. She was amazing and not only did her job and Autumns but the other ladies job because they refused to see us. Thankfully she was there and the traveling doctor Ruby because the doctor too did not want to see us. We were later advised to find a new dental home. I want my daughters to enjoy going to dentist and Im not so confident that they truly will after this incident. After placing my phone in my back pocket to then secretly record, I got home to review the tapping and noticed how Autumn glared and my children and I with each time she passed alongside other staff members in the facility. I am aware that in the culture that I mentioned earlier, that this behavior is prominent in certain groups and that affords no room to express discomfort as it does acceptance of any kind of treatment being directed. I am also aware that when one is aggressive, that it becomes a collective to team up and that is what we experienced here today. Bad service at this clinic , every time that I went it was a disaster . One day I went and waited in the waiting room 4 hours just to get told that the doctor wasn't going to show up because he had an anniversary . I wasted 4 hours just for nothing . Another time I went with my older son and he mentioned that the doctor went rough on his teeth's & it caused pain for a few days . Months later they called saying that my oldest son and youngest had an appointment ready , but I mentioned that they didn't want to go there anymore and they told me that there was a new doctor , I took my younger son again and it turned out to be worst because the laughing gas didn't do anything since my son was screaming in pain & he ended up leaving with pain and it caused a bruise on his bottom lip , and it didn't go away until 2 weeks , having to stay up at night hearing him cry because it hurt . Waking up not being able to eat , had to buy yogurts & only drink liquids . Also the doctor hand was very shaky & when I asked the lady a question 3 times she didn't answer at all & I started thinking that she was deaf so I asked somebody else " is she deaf ? And they said " No she's perfectly fine ." That day they gave me another appointment for October 9 & a day before they called me asking " what's the appointment for ? They took care of me. I was able to get a same day appointment and had all the work I needed done in one sitting. Overall a pleasant experience. Took off a star for a lousy first impression; one girl was on the phone when I arrived and the other one just looked at me like it wasn't her job to greet people. Signed my name on the check-in form then I was in after my insurance was verified. The dentist came and did an initial evaluation then the same girl from the front came in to give me all my options and how much would be covered by my insurance. At no point was I pressured to get something done that I didn't need. I knew I needed to have what they recommended done. Once the work was approved I was moved to another room and the work was done after some waiting. The work was done well and I'm overall satisfied with Apex. Would recommend! read more

Had a root canal 2 years ago here. I waited in the chair with my mouth propped open for 3 hours while the dentist came in, did a little work, then left and worked on someone else's teeth for a while, then came back to me. The root canal failed and ended up having to be redone at a reduced price. The tooth never really felt right. Tonight it fell out completely. Wouldn't trust with a root canal! read more

When I walked in, I was ignored while the ladies at the front desk finished their gossip. Once I finally finished the paperwork, the ladies went back to their gossip and referring to clients as the black lady or the white lady, which I found to be very unprofessional. I could hear everything they were saying on the phone that was supposed to be private since they had the phone on speaker. Then they called me up to the desk and told me they don't accept my insurance. When I originally set up my appointment, they said they accepted my insurance, but obviously that was a lie. I am 4 mos pregnant and decided I should get to the dentist. My OBGYN faxed Apex a release form that they suddenly couldn't find. When the dentist saw me she didn't know I was pregnant because my chart said I was "prego" which is slang for pregnant. The dentist was annoyed by the slang lingo. She was trying to push for a scaling/deep cleaning. I tried explaining to her that at the current time I couldn't afford to pay 1800 in dental work, I just wanted the cleaning that my insurance covered. She tried to convince me that it wouldn't do me any good. I asked if a routine cleaning was better than no cleaning. I felt like they were just trying to make money, not listening to me. I have been to the dentist many of times, I had awesome dental insurance and kept up with my dental care. They were just money grubbing, I wouldn't refer them to anyone. read more

This is literally my first time leaving a bad review but it needs to definitely be said. This is the worst dental office I've ever been to hands down. I have worked in the health care industry for years so I know how busy working in a medical office can be but it was ridiculous. My first visit there they seemed to be way over booked. There was lack of communication between staff. They forgot I was in the room waiting to be seen. I had to get up and search for someone to figure out what was going on. There was no apology and I was there for over two hours and I didn't even get anything done except get an X-ray. Then when you call to request information they say we will have to call you back with that information because the person who usually answers doesn't have the info. but no one ever calls back. When you call to check why no one called back no one is sure what happens or what was going on. I've experienced this with not 1, not 2, but 4 different people. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a facility that cares about their dental needs. If I could give 0 stars I would. Took my son in for his first dental appointment, after x-rays and an examination, the dentist began deriding and scolding me for not "seeing" the cavities my son had. Funny, she herself had to put him in a chair, nearly upside down and use a small mirror to see them herself. To me the worst part however was the twenty-five hundred dollar dental plan they worked up for him. Three office workers literally put my husband and I in a corner and informed us that they would not "release" my son until we signed the form commiting to a dental plan. I could not believe that any form of medical practice would use such an intimidating tactic to force parents into such a large financial decision. We flat out refused to sign, saying we wanted a second opinion with a pediatric dentist. They then went on about there only being one in town and it would be a 6 month wait to get in because we were cash pay. Suffice to say it was a horrible experience.
