I did explain initially that I could not locate one. I had an appt for 3pm to bring it in a couple days after I called. ai arrived before 3pm and dropped it off assuming they would get to it. They didn't and said they would get to it the next day, not a big issue. When I went to pick it up I looked for the plug and noticed the plug protection cover did not fit the end of the new plug. I went back in to ask them why it did not fit and learned from the mechanic he had just taken the protection plug for the old one? I asked why he replaced the plug that I couldn't find if it had already existed, it would have been simple to just test the existing plug line that I was unable to find and not use a new one. The person at the desk just said that when I called I just wanted a new plug installed, not really accurate, I did say on the original call that I could not find the plug connection and needed the accessory plug. I would have hoped they would have at least tested the existing one and only replace the plug if it actually needed it. $168 spent when I did not need the part.

Three out of five stars is the best I can do…read more Pros: They really do know their transmissions. Cons: Tom Millard, the owner, is kind of your frenemy. He is very personable, but his voice is approximately one octave lower than the lowest contrabass voice you have ever heard. Imagine the voice of actor Sam Elliott, run through an effect to make his voice so low that the frequency is barely discernable by the human ear. I have heard, however, that dolphins thousands of miles away do react when Tom opens his mouth. A day after you drop off your car, Tom will call you and use his profoundly intimidating voice to notify you that the cost of your transmission repair will be twice what you paid for your entire car. At that point, when this happened to me, I found a "Plan B" - I told him I would bring in my own transmission (which I bought used from another place) and I told Tom his technicians could install it for me. Tom reluctantly agreed, and in the subsequent days he got me back by saying that the transmission I got him had problems (it didn't really) and that I would have to give them extra time to complete the repair. TWO WEEKS LATER, I finally got my car back. I still paid quite a bit for the repair and I really think ol' Tom was just making things difficult for me because I didn't want to buy the transmission from him.

They fixed it and this year a piece went bad. We dropped the car off to have the problem fixed around the end of June . We got our car back and none of the gauges work. Speed, rpms, gas, none of them. They have had our car for over 6 weeks. We have a trip coming up and have not asked them for anything other then to fix car. So today we asked if they could cover a rental for the weekend since we took the car with plenty of time to fix the transmission issue and they also messes up the car and haven't been able to fix it. The person I spoke with said that they would cover our rental and also have our vehicle sent to a GMC Dealership to be fixed and they would cover cost. Well now they are saying that they never said this. Then it turned into we will cover your rental for 2 days. How about you have had my car for over 6 weeks. You can cover a rental for 4 days when you are the ones who messed it up and can't figure out what you did or how to fix it!!! I will nev

The vehicle was having issues starting and caused her to miss work when I was out of town. The Garage replaced the fuel pump and she kindly paid the 700 hundred plus bill. The next day, the same issue appeared with no change. The issue was still there. When I returned from a business trip I researched the vehicle, problems and found it to be a 21 dollar easy to do yourself part. A dealer told me the same information. When I discussed this with the garage, they did not know the problem, they were guess repairing the vehicle and I had to tell them the issue, the part to solve it. Once solved I requested the old fuel pump, they never showed anyone, they had no diagnostics, they didnt have a clue why the problem was there?. When they tried to explain they tested it?, they said they used a headlight and tested electric current, replaced it started the car and it worked? they finally agreed it was an error as they could not argue with logic. When Icalled to get a check returned, they lied, said it was bad, became agitated, argumentive and used a bulling tone. They proceeded to then call my girlfriend since she paid. They WON that battle because she felt intimidated, fearful to speak up. Instead she lost 700 plus dollars for nothing. We decided like the other family and friends, its not the place it was and they can not be trusted with models of cars since 1980 and up.
