Amazing work- breathtaking cinema. If I could give a million stars I would. Aperina studios is highly professional and detail oriented. They brought extra support to make sure they captured everything at our wedding. I also valued working with a family owned business. They have a gift and will not disappoint. Highly, highly, highly recommend. read more

My (now) husband and I absolutely LOVE working with Aperina! You don't often find people that are not only easy to work with but also a joy to be around. They were recommended by our wedding planner, Anais Events, who is also just superb by the way. We first met Paul during our engagement shoot. Paul's passion for photography, down to earth nature, great attitude, hard work, and skills really shine through. We were so impressed with the photos and really felt that our personalities shined through while still being polished and professional. We got to work with both Paul & Vitaliy (video) during our recent intimate COVID wedding. Although we haven't seen the final photos yet, we have seen a few teasers that Paul sent our way and were absolutely blown away. Vitaliy sent us the final video so promptly and I can't stop watching it. It is just so well done. THANK YOU for making these memories for us and with us! read more

I can not tell you how much I loved working with Aperina! I love not only that its a family owned company, but that the brothers work so well together. You can tell they respect each other and their craft. Throughout the 4 day wedding festivities each member of the "Aperina family" kept me laughing and smiling, they were respectful to the elders and all my guest. They took direction really well and remembered the small details that were important to me, many that were mentioned in our first call. Many of my guest joked that they were "EVERYWHERE" capturing every moment. Often times, lovingly, they were referred to as "Ninja's!" You can truly tell that Paul and Vitaliy LOVE what they do. This is not a job for them, it is a passion of theirs.. creating art and using our celebration of love as their canvas. They beautifully captured every small detail of the decor, our outfits and very emotion of mine and my family. I am so grateful that my experience with them was nothing but quality. My dad who does not give praise very easily, said "hands down, these guys are the best and are very talented, as they created a masterpiece for us" From their straight forward pricing, multiple calls to talk about expectation, day of interaction, to editing photos - editing feature film.. I am truly impressed and feel blessed to have worked with the best. It is companies like Aperina, that will slowly change the bad reputation that many have when working with photographers and Videographers. Thanks team Aperina, you guys are the best! read more

Aperina delivered videos beyond our wildest dreams. I cannot thank them enough. The whole team was extremely professional and easy to work with. My husband and I were debating on even having a video and we are so happy that we did and that we chose Aperina. The final wedding video brought back all the amazing memories and we were able to relive the moment. It was so well done and my friends and family described it as a real "Hollywood movie" If you are looking for a team to capture the best day of your life, then Aperina is the right choice! read more

A few years late on writing this review but while watching our wedding film the other day, I felt the need to share the memorable experience we had working with Aperina Studios. Aperina Studios: a creative cinematography/photography team lead by two enthusiastic, passionate, and professional brothers, Vitaliy and Paul. The first time Roop (my wife) and I met Vitaliy, we knew we wanted him to film our wedding. Though we had only seen a limited sample of Vitaliy's work, it was his positive energy, passion for cinematography, as well as the sincere interest and respect he showed toward other cultures that won us over. It wasn't till our engagement photoshoot in San Francisco that we realized how talented of a photographer Paul truly is. Regardless of the cold and rainy weather he stayed optimistic and patient. Paul's relaxed demeanor helped put us at ease and allowed us to behave more naturally in front of the camera. Roop and I felt very comfortable spending the day with Paul; he was open to hearing our suggestions, ideas, and allowed us to express our creative side as well. Both Vitaliy and Paul are very approachable and easy to communicate with, which made it easy to share our ideas and give suggestions. They did an excellent job of understanding our expectations and overall vision; this is apparent in the collection of beautiful photographs Paul captured and the spectacular highlight video and feature film created by Vitaliy. Aperina Studios was the perfect choice for us. Our friends and relatives were very impressed by Vitaliy and Paul's work as well and also expressed how much they enjoyed their company; several of them had expressed interest in hiring Aperina for future events. I just want to express our appreciation for your hard work. You both played an important part in our wedding and we wouldn't want it any other way. Thanks for the memories! read more

My wife and I were lucky enough to have Vitaliy from Aperina studios capture video for our wedding. We booked him and his team after seeing examples of the awesome work he has done. What stood out to us was that the videos he crafted felt like genuine representations of the couples and their weddings, instead of the cookie-cutter videos we had seen with other vendors. After meeting with him, we understood why. He made a genuine effort to get to know us and our relationship so that he knew what aspects of the wedding to focus on in order to capture the story of our wedding. The result was a video that we felt truly reflected how we experienced the wedding, which we are looking forward to continuously rewatching over the years to remember our wonderful day. During the wedding, he was extremely professional and thorough with his coverage. Other than the pre-planned videography shoots during which he did a great job of directing us, we didn't notice his presence during the wedding (which is what we requested). We felt like he and his team were able to stay hidden in the background, but still capture all the little moments we wanted to remember. We highly recommend Aperina studios for anyone looking to immortalize their special day on video. read more

Worst experience of anything involving my wedding. the contract was not upheld. Heck, Vitaliy didnt even know what package we ordered! the reason i hired Aperina was because they make amazing wedding teaser. in my contract it states that i should receive a wedding teaser within 4 weeks of my wedding. Its been a year and one month. still no teaser and they arent going to make one. honestly one of the worst customer experiences i have ever had. what happened to "the customer is always right". not with this company. I tried to be very honest and deal with the matter more privately. I was extremely honest and frank, wanting this situation to be resolved. That did no good. And when i talked to other brides and found that they went through similar situations...well I decided I was not going to keep quiet about it. I just don't want any other bride to go through what I went through. Literally hiring them is the only thing i regret about my wedding. I am not trying to attack this company. they do good work but the mess you have to deal with from them isn't worth it when other companies can do exactly what they do. spare yourself. go with someone else. read more

I second everything Erica L. said. Aperina was the worst customer service I've ever had in my life and the only negative part about my wedding. Their contract means nothing. I had to make so many calls just to get that video and Vitaliy was very rude/unprofessional (made the lamest excuses possible). I just wish someone had of told me this before the wedding, not after. Future brides, ask around and dont be fooled by the few teasers they have on the website - those are just for show and yours will most likely look super cheap and crappy (thats even if u get one a year later after the wedding). read more

Aperina did an amazing job filming our wedding and reception. We had an outdoor reception on a golf course during the day when it was bright, sunny, and hot! The video crew wasn't fazed! They perfectly captured the intimate moments, the emotions, and all the beautiful details of our special day! The guys were easy to communicate with throughout the day and I never felt like they were in the way! They worked very smoothly with each other and were just an overall fun crowd that made us feel relaxed! The finished product was stellar - so professional, beautiful, and cinematic! It was much more impressive than I even imagined! We've shared our video with friends and family and they absolutely loved reliving the day along with us! This is a keepsake we will treasure for a lifetime! Thank you so much Vitaliy and your crew! We think so highly of you and your work, and will continue to recommend your work to our friends and coworkers! read more

Aperina Studios were recommended to us by our wedding planner, Amrit of Anais Events. We hired them for both photo and cinema for our Sikh Wedding in the Bay Area this Spring and they were absolutely phenomenal. Of all the vendors we dealt with, we had the best experience with Aperina (tied with our caterer, Jalsa, for favorite vendor). Paul, Vitaly and their team were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. I generally hate having my picture taken and my husband was even worse in terms of acting natural in front of the camera and Paul was so incredibly patient with us and did a great job making things more comfortable. He was also flexible and creative with our engagement shoot which we ended up doing in a different place than we planned and the pictures turned out even better than we had expected. Both Paul and Vitaly made an effort to get to know our close family and figure out who and what was important to film. They were always willing to "go with the flow" when things were off schedule or something didn't go as planned. They were also polite and patient when random relatives would rudely hand them iPhones and ask them to take another picture for them (EEEEK - sorry, Paul. I am probably cringing in all of these photos). In case you are having a South Asian wedding and are at all concerned about hiring a non-South Asian team for capturing it, don't worry at all. These guys have clearly done enough Indian weddings to know what's up. There was a point where Vitaly was actually explaining one of the pre-wedding rituals to ME. In terms of price, I think their rates are very reasonable compared to other studios doing similar quality work. Having talked to friends who have used other bigger, more expensive photo/video teams I am actually so glad we went with a smaller studio like Aperina because it felt much more personal. They were so great that one of my bridesmaids has booked them for photography for her wedding next year and a ton of people asked about them after the Same Day Edit played at our reception. It included our entrance which had happened only minutes before - it was a take-your-breath-away kind of surprise for everyone including us. To look around the room at the end through my own watery eyes and see people's smiles and happy tears and all the murmurs of "how did they do that??" made for a really special moment. I noticed some of the previous reviews mention waiting a long time for photos. I'm happy to say this has not been our experience so far. Both photo and video have been trickling in and it hasn't even been 6 months since the wedding. Overall, we had a really positive experience. These guys are talented, kind, hard-working and professional and they certainly deserve the recognition. We are fans and we're rooting for you, Aperina! read more

My husband and I were considering two different photographers for our wedding and ended up choosing Aperina Studios not only for their affordability, but also because of their professionalism. We met with Vitaliy and he clearly explained what Aperina Studios could provide for us and also made it a point to ask what exactly we wanted, too. Vitaliy was very clear up-front with how long our photos and video would take to get back and also with what we would be getting. We were very educated and informed and had the option to change anything that we wanted, should we so desire. The day of our wedding came and Aperina Studios did such a fabulous job. They were very prompt, professional, and in honesty, I hardly even noticed they were there. We received many comments from guests on how professional they seemed and everyone was impressed with the work they were doing. If you're someone who can be patient for some very quality and one-of-a-kind work, then Aperina Studios is definitely the company for you. I highly recommend them and would use them again and again. Thank you, Aperina Studios! read more

Aperina did such an amazing job on the video for our Napa Valley wedding in the vineyards of Brix restaurant and gardens. They captured every moment of our special day including sparkler send off from many angles too! I'm not sure where the negative reviews on here come from, while the video does take a while to arrive, it is stated as such in the contract and it ends up being well worth the wait. Aperina delivers such a great value with the level of attention to detail, professionalism and quality. When we watch our video, we feel like we are watching a high quality movie production of our wedding in HD. We have been told many times that this is the best wedding film people have ever seen! If you want a company that takes pride in their work and an amazing wedding video to cherish forever, go with Aperina! read more

Aperina did our video for our wedding this year in July and we are so impressed by their work. We paid for a short, medium and long film. Thus far we have seen our short 4 minute film and are sooooo impressed with the video. We hired Vitaliy and his team for three days. He came to a pre-wedding event on the first day my home, the next day he filmed our Chinese Banquet and on the final day he filmed our Indian Hindu wedding and reception. Aperina was able to navigate several cities, a couple of cultures, outdoor and indoor events, hundreds of guests and record breaking heat. It is not what Aperina had to deal with though that makes them get such an awesome review- it is the work that they produced that speaks for itself. Our parents have watched the short film over 30 times with such pride. They love the way that Aperina found a way to find the emotions, the stories, and the special moments and make sure we now have them forever. Several weddings guests have shared with us how much the wedding video touched them. People have laughed, cried and "awwed" when they have seen the movie and then at the end, wanted to watch it all over again. Thank you Aperina- we look forward to seeing our medium and long video. You have us so pumped up and so thankful we chose to work with you!! read more

Thank you Aperina Studios for capturing our week-long wedding festivities so flawlessly. We really appreciate you going above and beyond to help make our wedding process smooth and enjoyable. It really shows through your work how much you love what you do and how committed to cinematography/photography you are. Vitaliy and his team covered a week's worth of festivities for our wedding this past May. From the very first interaction, he and his team were incredibly professional and interested in understanding us as a couple as well as our vision for each event. What surprised us most was how committed they are to the quality of their work - Vitaliy never took any shortcuts and was always ready to make the most of each moment. Vitaliy and his team were extremely professional throughout the entire process and took away much of the stress of such a busy week. They were punctual, respectful and mindful, and altogether very easy and fun to work with. It goes without saying that the videos they created for us were beyond amazing! Months later, we still have people complimenting us on how beautiful the short video was, and how seamlessly the Aperina studios team worked during the events. Ronak and I would highly recommend Aperina studios. Their artistic vision is fresh and elegant, and they are dedicated to creating a video that is not only beautiful, but truly captures the essence of your wedding. Most importantly, they are wonderful people with great personalities who manage to make even the most stressful of situations better with their professionalism and great attitudes. read more

I truly amazed by their service quality and business approach, had the best experience working with Aperina Studio. The best feature in their service arsenal is the flexibility of their contract. Vitaliy patiently guided me through all their contract features and options. My advice is to spend as much time as you need working with Vitaliy on your contract, make sure you understand what you order and what the options are will be the best suitable for the style and the spirit of your event. Knowledge is a responsibility as the Aperina Studios and your's as well. Thank you, Vitaliy, for being patient with me and for outstanding service at my event and superior video of my event. read more

I had my wedding photographed and filmed by Aperina Studios and i was blown away by their quality of work. They paid great attention to detail and what was important to me. They were very professional, respectful and creative in how they captured our big day. They were very knowledgeable and informative too. The video team was amazing. They didn't in any way interfere with my wedding plans but managed to get the most amazing footage. I loved my teaser that they posted only a few days after our wedding day. They picked the perfect song too! The photographer was great too. He captured all of our memories and made us feel very comfortable during the shoots. He was very creative and went out of his way to make sure our photos were amazing and not just average. After the wedding we got both our full video and all of our photos sooner than we expected. No complaints whatsoever. I would recommend this company to everyone i know. THIS COMPANY IS AMAZING!!! read more

My new husband and I were absolutely blown away with the professionalism, creativity, and stunning work of this team! We own RV dealerships and have a videographer on staff. He saw the work of this team and was also blown away. Vitaliy and his brothers really worked to get to know us as a couple and you can see it in the video footage. Our personalities and everything that was important to us shows. I've watched the video a number of times and I cry each time as if its the first time I've seen it!! read more

Working with Aperina Studios was a fun, proactive and a wonderful collaborating experience. Both Paul and Vitaliy were up-front about the amount of time the entire process would take. They were punctual and fully focused on my project throughout. I received my final product within the promised time frame. I worked with both Paul and Vitaliy for video and photos for my wedding events and could not be happier. After seeing their work online, I knew I had to book them. We started with an engagement photo session in SF, and Paul took absolutely amazing photos, I loved every single one. For my wedding events, we did another photo session before the ceremony, and the pictures are gorgeous, you can't even tell that we're in a crowded park in Fremont with tons of people everywhere! For video, Vitality created such a beautiful short film for my wedding events. Each moment was captured perfectly, and the way he put it all together is perfect; it shows every emotion. Even during my events, all my family and friends were saying how excited they were to see the photos and videos because they could just tell Paul and Vitality were professionals and very good at what they do. I highly recommend Aperina Studios to anyone, you will not be disappointed! read more

They have amazing work. I'm very satisfied with my video! Very professional!

I booked Aperina Studios a month before my wedding and also requested a same day edit to show at my wedding on May 19, 2013 and could not be happier with my choice of vendor. Not only were they happy to accommodate with such short notice they produced a wonderful high quality video and my hubby and I couldn't be happier. read more

Thank you Aperina!! You are the BEST!!! An amazing job capturing essence of Raj and Haley's most beautiful day! When Raj and Haley set their wedding date, we parents were thrilled, and wanted everything to be perfect. Biggest challenge was to go thru all the recommendations given by friends and family to select vendors for a traditional American and Indian Hindu wedding ceremony on the same day. When it came to selecting a videographer, among the first three we contacted, Aperina's quick prompt response was impressive. After reviewing their website and their work we were confident they could capture the wedding customs and traditions complimenting two cultures. Did they deliver what they promised, YESSSS they nailed it +. From signing the contract to delivering the final movie, they were professionals!! Movie got a tremendous response from friends, family and guests. Thank you Aperina! read more

We are so happy we chose Aperina Studios to film our wedding day. Vitaliy and Paul, our cinematographers, were professional, flexible, and always quick to respond to our inquiries. They have an eye for detail and poured a lot of care and creativity into the final product! read more

My husband and I got married in August of 2014. Aperina Studios was the first vendor that we booked. It was really important to us to find a cinematography team that understood our vision and make it come to life. And that is exactly what they did! They captured it all- from the moment I got my mehendhi done, to getting smeared with turmeric all over my body, to walking hand in hand as I vowed to marry my husband, to dancing all night with my friends and family; you feel every ounce of emotion while watching the film. Three years later, I still get asked "who did your same day edit?? it was beautiful!" The time and effort that Aperina Studios puts in, is truly visible in their work. This team works 12-16 hour days to make beautiful films. Vitaliy & Paul have become family; I see them every year at my friends events and they ALWAYS take the opportunity to check in and catch up on life. Their entire team is very warm, friendly, and trustworthy. Most importantly, they are punctual! They are always set up and ready to go! They never waste a moment and always have their creative minds thinking about how to make the film they are working on the BEST thing! read more
