When i picked up the car they hadn't even wiped down the inside of the car. I asked him to do it and he did it using no elbow grease and didn't go over the inside again when I asked. I had to take the bottle and rag from him and do it myself. On the drive back to my daughter's apartment I found more and more that wasn't cleaned and lots of dust left behind. I paid almost $400 for a job I could have had done at a regular car wash and they would have done a better job. I would not recommend them and I would not take my car to this shop. I was taken advantage of and overcharged for a basic car wash and vacuuming.

Spilled leftover coffee in the cup holders, puppy stains, dust everywhere - you name it. Other places wanted to charge me $175 - $225, which I think is a little bonkers. Davon quoted me $120 and he worked SO hard on my car to make sure everything was perfect for ~2-hours. :) At the time I had my service completed, his car was in the shop so I drove to his Aurora home for the detailing. He let me stay inside his air conditioned, WiFi equipped home, and his wife even offered me iced tea or other drinks while I waited, happily working on my laptop while sitting on his comfy couch. I gave him over a 20% tip because he worked so diligently - plus he has a really cute, sweet, 6-month-old pupper! *Heart Emoji Here!* At first I felt a little apprehensive, entering someone's home I've just met and asking for the WiFi password - but Davon and his wife are just so incredibly nice. Plus, I got to text my bestie who has anxiety the situation to get a rise out of her, but she just responded, "lol, girl don't get murdered" :D Ah well, maybe next time. ;-) Choose Davon! The usual result is that the car smells like Armor All for a few days, and otherwise it's not much different. I'm *so* glad I finally took my 13-year-old car to Details Plus! This is the first time I've been happy with a detail job. The urge to buy a new car has abated. I plan to do this a little more often in the future. For the window tinting, I have absolutely no complaints. Bryce spent a good bit of time explaining the various options to me. I'm very happy with the outcome.

Today I picked up my car from their Clear Choice side of the business after getting a full front-end clearbra installed. First of all, their work is again outstanding, with great attention to detail. Also, they have ditched 3M in favor of Suntek PPK for the film used, and I have to say I am very impressed. I've had 3M before, and always it ended up being a bit foggy, with noticeable orangepeel when you could actually get it to shine. Bug splats were next to impossible to remove. The Suntek film is "self-healing" -- pour hot water on it and it smooths out the inevitable swirls and marks that can appear over time. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out, but so far it looks far better than I ever expected. If anything, the car shines more, and there's no way you can see there's a film on it unless you can spot an edge. Clear Choice/Details Plus is on the higher end, cost-wise. But it's worth the difference, and they stand by their work. I've been generally fortunate in my past experiences with other vendors, but I've seen far too many botched jobs to skimp on something like this.
