Called with a simple question about an order of protection for my daughter (15 years old). The RUDE lady that answered the phone on 12/20/24 around 12:30pm was so not helpful. She made me feel like I was a burden for trying to figure out how to serve the order. Do not bother them if a holiday is coming. Don't think they will try to protect a young girl, because they will only try to deliver, ONCE! " There are processer servers who will keep trying." Saw on the local news how the Apache Junction Police Department's Officer Kellogg (:hope we have the spelling right:) saved an elderly resident from suffering a horrible death during an extreme flash flood. A Desert flash flood is an extreme and dangerous weather event, fraught with deadly hazards both seen and unseen. Comes as no surprise, it just illustrates what a difficult and potentially perilous duty assignment any police officers shift may entail, and the bravery and patriotism.of Officer Kellogg and the other members of The Blue Line. Having nearly lost a friend to a flash flood I can tell you just how terrifying it was to wade into flood waters, much less clad in Kevlar, and wearing god knows how much gear plus heavy clothing and duty boots. Unfortunately the poor city leaders here have turned this town into an eyesore. It's full of used tire shops, tattoo parlors, vape shops, pawn shops and lo and behold it's now full of riff raff and meth zombies. Who has to deal with this? The residents and police. This department does all it can to keep crime down but city leaders here just don't get it. Every year it gets worse and worse. I was a visitor at husky hollow Mobile home Park I called the police more than once the person I was staying with I've known since 1968 used to be an upstanding citizen but boy has she changed I called the police numerous times that she was stealing my clothes she still 23 boxes that I mailed to her prior to my arrival I was going to move there she threatened me more than once and they did nothing I can't believe I've never seen a more useless Police department in my entire life. read more

I called this police station about a problem and no one was on duty around christmas time when i was parked at walmart in apache junction. When someone came on duty i was told to talk to walmart who said they cant investigate my problem without the police to initiate the investigation. When i camped at lost dutchmen state park first week of february i had a problem where an old man banging hard on my camper like he was going to punch a hole around the door and windows shining lights inside who failed to say anything or identify himself came back twice and broke my generator. I called police who were closed and 911 took the call but never showed to my camper inperson to take a complaint says they drove past my campsite and did not see anyone. I called a second time to 911 and woman who answered said why didnt i call an hour ago for assistance. Lol i said i did and no one came. The next day jim a manager came out said he was the police in a park ranger suit. Said he told someone to shut my generator off and said they told him they identified themselves. I am lonely woman by myself felt picked on asked why they didnt say anything during daylight hours because i had generator on for last two nights. The worker who banged on my camper never acknowledged himself during daylight even the nextday and Manager Jim was very rude unaccomodating to me as a paying customer said i dont act normal to not answer the door while unidentified person is banging on it at night time hours while i am alone by myself. Didnt really care they broke my generator and blamed me for their behavior as an excuse to break something and pound on my camper and shine lights in windows in hostile unfriendly way without identifying themselves. read more
