First of all, understand this company's technicians are "traveling" technicians. They do NOT…read moreservice any particular area all the time. They tell you they service Dallas, for instance, but the appointment has to wait until a technician decides to travel to Dallas. And once he leaves Dallas, that's it. I made a CONFIRMED appointment to service 2 power chairs in the Dallas area. The lady on the phone said it would be "next week" before a technician was up there. For some reason, I said ok. I gave them the full address of the assisted living location, with specific directions on how to find my parents. I told my parents it would be one day next week, which is no big deal to them as they rarely leave the facility anyway. Yesterday, I was in meetings all day and the technician evidently called before going to the appt. Because I wasn't available, they canceled the appt. Seriously? A call to the company confirmed their actions. No such thing as a confirmed appointment. They generalize their appointments and then call before going. You get one shot to "confirm" the appointment the day of, and if you miss it, tough cookies. They sweetly said they'd be back in the area in 2 weeks if I would like to reschedule. Are you kidding me? No, when I schedule an appointment I expect that appointment to be honored. Now I have a broken chair, with an upset parent, that will have to wait even longer for repair.

It took several days for our parts to arrive, and he offered for us to stay in our camper on his property for free. He even let us connect to his electric to run our air conditioner. I watched the employees of Kelly's Auto Shop for a week, and they were absolutely always the pinnacle of professional and kind. Bryon is an extremely knowledgeable expert in auto repair, and could diagnose problems immediately and have them fixed in quick order. Kyle is a by-the-book perfectionist who treated every vehicle as if it was his own. He's young and smart, and a fantastic person. Kelly (the owner) is a great "old style" mechanic. He's worked on every kind of vehicle and seen every type of problem. He's well versed in cars and also isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and fix something when it needs fixing. Kelly and his entire crew are great people, and you'd be foolish to use any other repair shop in town. These guys are legends.
