It's unfortunate it has to be a negative one, but Inter-Clean has left me no other choice. Right before Christmas 2025, Dan cleaned our living room, upstairs hallway and stairs. When finished, he informed us that "a few bleach spots" had appeared on the stairs. WHAT??? He asked if we had used a product called Folex to spot clean them. In fact, we had used the product months earlier with no bleaching or spotting problems at all. Dan assured us that he could and would dye the spots upon his return and not to worry. Taking him at his word, we paid him ($300 cash) and out the door he went. Once the carpets had dried, our inspection revealed more than "a few spots"; 11 out of 14 stairs to be exact. Months passed and no contact from Dan. I finally called him and this was his response: " I don't even remember you" (does that mean leaving customers with bleached carpets is a common occurrence and no big deal), "It's been too long" (yes, why haven't you called to come and fix the damaged carpet as promised), "I don't feel comfortable coming back and that's my right. You should look into suing Folex." All I can say is, "Wow!" If Dan is aware that his cleaning process can interact with previous use of the product Folex, why doesn't he ask/warn customers before cleaning to prevent this situation in the first place? I asked him why he didn't pause cleaning and alert us to what was happening at the time so that we could have had the opportunity for input. Yes, I wanted my stairs cleaned but not if it meant ruining them! I would have had him stop and explored other ways to clean them. But the MAIN issue here is not that the carpet was bleached, but that Dan did not keep his promise to fix it. I am all about supporting small local businesses but, because of this experience, I would caution you to think twice about hiring Inter-Clean. Dan has shown that he lacks both ownership and integrity.
