He sent someone that day. I will say we are nice and cool now and it was just a random issue nothing serious, took 5 mins to fix. I paid $437.59. Within DAYS the unit stopped working AGAIN so they sent the technician back out. He spent 5 minutes, removed the filter this time and said THAT was the problem. I paid ANOTHER $253.75. Two days later the unit stopped working AGAIN. I called another company and that company was immediately able to find the problem. There wasn't enough FREON in the unit! The technician from General Air never checked the FREON. When I called the manager to let them know what the other company found was the problem - she was extremely rude. DO NOT USE THEM. Replaced 1st floor HVAC system (4) years ago ( see notes below). In Nov 2025 finally decided to replace my failing 2nd floor 2T Goodwin system due to coil leaks. Obtained (2) quotes (one from Perfect Climate) and another from well known HVAC firm. Again awarded Perfect Climate the work because of pricing (30% below other bidder and with Trane components) and my previous experience them. Once again very pleased with the system and their installation work. Thanks Nick, and Perfect Climate. In 2021 replaced 1st floor HVAC system after 17 years of service. Original unit was a 2 1/2 T Goodwin. After obtaining quotes from (3) reputable Greenville SC HVAC firms selected Perfect climate based on pricing and superior Trane multi stage system. Cost was 15% below other bidders and with a superior Trane system. So happy with their service and system installed. Quiet and significantly reduced humidity in my home. Running problem free after 5 years. So glad I selected Perfect Climate and Trane system they recommended. Perfect Climate took the time to explain my options and recommend the best system/solution. During installation, they identified an existing issue with my homes electrical system. HVAC system was not on a dedicated breaker. Spent spent several hours trouble shooting system tripping out (not in Perfect Climates work scope) and resolved the problem, by rewiring with dedicated HVAC breaker in fuse box at no additional cost. Also stopped by following morning to verify system operating satisfactory. I cant say enough Perfect Climates commitment to quality and customer service.
