Terrible customer service and extremely rude owner…read more Marty and Wendy were extremely helpful in the beginning with picking out and a wonderful planting of our 3 trees. Unfortunately they died shortly after. We were promised multiple for two months that someone would take a look at our two dead trees. When no one came and no one followed up we contacted them and were promised two new trees to replace them. When we arrived the owner rudely and dismissively said that we were not getting the new trees and the person whom we spoke to on the phone had no authorization to tell us that. When we tried to explain how long this had been dragged out he simply turned and walked away mid-sentence. In our experience they do not honour their word or their warranties, and are definitely not open to discussion about any issues!

I like that it is owner operated, and the fact that they only sell trees that are proven to grow in Calgary! The price was very reasonable and as mentioned the service was excellent!

This past October we received our order as usual, and we thought it looked like less wood than in the past. We also noticed that it took us way less time than in previous years to haul it in from the back alley to our woodshed. We reasoned we're just getting more adept at the process and thought nothing more of it. However, it's not even the middle of December and we're running low on wood already, whereas in the past we've had enough to last us well into February, even when we built more fires than we have this year. Obviously there's no way to prove it, but we're pretty sure they ripped us off. Our receipt clearly stated that we ordered and paid for half a cord of wood. Pretty lame considering how much we paid, and that we've been their customers for several years. We'll be going with a different company next fall.

This little gem of a store in the heart of a growling city that is managing to keep its charm. There are gifts galore from jewelry to bathroom delights. The few articles of clothing they have are not my style but perhaps a younger more hip customer would totally love them. I always make a point to visit this place with my ice cream cup in hand.
