Based on this, I arranged childcare and planned my day accordingly. When I arrived, I was told the bloodwork had not been ordered and that the office preferred to wait until after the appointment in case additional labs were needed, to avoid a second trip. This was the opposite of what I had been told on the phone and ultimately resulted in the additional trip I was trying to avoid. Had I been told it was simply an oversight, I would have understood. Instead, it was framed as being for my convenience, despite the prior instructions I had received. I cancelled my appointment and will be looking for a new PCP. I hope the office can improve communication so patients receive consistent and accurate information. Edited to add: I am an established patient with this office. While it had been a few years since my last visit, I had previously been seen here and the office assisted me with updating my name. I wanted to clarify this because the response from the office suggests otherwise.

This has caused permanent nerve damage. It is such a refreshing experience to work with my physician. From day one, she has always seen me as an individual and listens to my concerns. Then he hangs up like he really doesn't to talk to you. I foolishly sent my info anyway. Then he calls me and says you have to pay 160 out of pocket for visits with this insurance. Both Dr. Whitton and Dr. Truesdale are hands down the Best. They are caring, they listen to their patients, and then gives you the facts of whatever it is that you are experiencing and the treatment and follow up. I have had no issues with getting ahold of the office. The office staff is welcoming and friendly. I have highly recommended them to anyone who is/was looking for a place to go. I lived in Mesa when I started going to Caring for Families, then moved to Laveen where I have been since 2013, and still go. The mileage and extra time it takes to get there is over the top worth it.

My husband has had to return to the facility three times for appointments because he was given incorrect dates and because no one knew what kind of blood work had been ordered. GOOD EXPERIENCE: My primary care physician, Dr. Ara, is terrific. So is her PA, Sara, who continues to coordinate with other doctors and labs for me. Wait times for appointments in this department are short. Beware seniors! Be ready for confusion and misstatements. Also be prepared for long wait times for lab work.

They give u a 10 minute grace period for being late, but if u're later than 10 minutes, they recommend that u cancel and make a new appointment. Lucky for me, i didn't get a ticket driving there! Everyone there is super nice and professional. I had to wait about 15 minutes to be serviced, but it was expected since I was late. I really like this office cuz I can get my labs drawn right in the same office and not have to go somewhere else! The phlebotomist was awesome as well! He was able to get my blood with just 1 poke! I'm really happy with this honor health office and Dr Roy! He's a keeper!!
