Fred says that he uses vehicle-specific parts, which are delivered from nearby warehouses. The shop gives you the old parts back, such as burnt out headlights and worn windshield wipers. I only go to the dealership for brakes, batteries, warranty work and recalls. Most jobs at Lakeview Car Care are done in less than two hours. While you wait, there is no transportation to take you to and from home or work, so you have to call an Uber or Lyft. The waiting room is relatively clean and has comfortable chairs. It also has a coffee/tea bar with a Nespresso machine and its pods; and some tea bags, Carnation dry milk, and sweeteners. Service is personalized because Fred has regular customers, whom he instantly recognizes and engages in chit chat with. Above all, Mike is honest and stands by his work. For example, in the Fall of 2018, Ronk replaced my brakes and rotors. This Spring, my brakes squeaked consistently during the rain, and Mike inspected them and explained that the brakes are good and function well; and that sometimes they squeak when constantly wet.
