However, today I felt very heard and seen by Edalaine Gullien (I hope I spelled her name correctly). I felt very anxious going into my appointment because I had concerns that sounded crazy saying out loud. She listened to me, explained things thoroughly and was constantly asking if I had any questions, making sure I understood what was going on. I have a follow-up in a couple weeks and I'm confident that I'll get to the bottom of whatever is going on with a team like this on my side. Every single person I interacted with today was kind and professional. I live in the Southwest area by IKEA and I'm probably going to continue driving out of my way to be seen here. ^_^

I have been asking for the completed forms all this time. I called AGAIN 2 weeks ago and spoke to her directly. She apologized, said they were complete and just needed to be scanned and sent within 48 hours. After a week, I stood by while my mother called last Friday. She was assured that she would email them that afternoon. I followed up on Monday and got another apology, but not the forms. I offered to come by to pick them up today (Wednesday). I waited almost 20 minutes because they were not ready. Nor were they complete (after 15 years, she could not list my mother's medications). At home, some serious inaccuracies were found, including unlisted allergies.

Green Valley Parkway. After arriving early w/ mom & dad around 2:00 to fill out new patient paperwork, I walked a few steps to a large, clean & quiet Starbucks. Loved it! Now every time I take them there I have some where to grab a coffee, treat or a new coffee mug yay! Mom & dad are in excellent health so we only scheduled the appointment to meet their new Humana PCP, who I feel comfortable w/ for them. The receptionist's were all very kind & helpful. Unfortunately, the EKG machine wouldn't work which made dad a little annoyed lol & he couldn't wait to leave! We left a little before 4pm so I guess that's to be expected sometimes. Besides those two things, mom's happy w/ Dr. Wagner & being that dad is a disabled Vietnam Veteran he will also meet his PCP there. Also the Nurse used to work at the new VA. Good to know. Overall, after our first experience, I do recommend Dr. Wagner. Mom says he seems opened, not pushy, or trying to change any medication & listened. He showed he cared by asking us about Iowa also. We gave them as a whole four stars since it was our first visit. I'd give the Dr. a 5, but it was mom & dads experience through Humana. Dr. Alfreda listens my concerns and I always feel safe under his care. he is a great doctor and very knowledgeable. Once I was hospitalized for severe abdominal pain and without testing, I was diagnosed with peptic ulcer. Dr. Alfreda ordered H-pylori testing ( which was negative) and sent me to GI SPECIALIST. I had upper GI endoscopy and a tissue biopsy revealed celiac sprue . I am very hard-headed person who will never go to the hospital unless Iam unconscious. Numerous times I had very bad respiratory infection which interfered my breathing and I still refused to go ER AND AGAIN DR ALFREDA was my savior . I have had back & neck pain for 30+ years & made an appointment to request an MRI for intense hip pain. It was a pain that I have never felt before. He denied my request stating it was unnecessary, told me it was sciatica, & didn't listen or care about my concerns. I know what sciatica feels like & it was not it. I ended up having my Chiro request the tests I needed & received PT for the issue which was far from sciatica. The second time I went to him he was negating advice & reasons for meds from all of my other doctors including my gynecologist & endocrinologist. He thinks he knows better than everyone else. He suggested I go off of my cholesterol meds which I told him was necessary. Followed his advice. Went off them for a month or two. Got a blood test & sure enough my cholesterol is the highest it has ever been. He does not listen to his patients & is arrogant as can be. If you don't agree with him, he argues with you.
