First you have to give them more info than when you apply for a mortgage- If you miss one thing on you application you have only 60 minutes to upload it or you are pushed over for another applicant! So dot your I's and cross your T's and don't be at work when you receive the news that you missed a page on your schedule C. Ohh and if you are self employed you better have all 100 pages of your tax return and itemized even if it has No impact on if you can make the rent. They don't return your phone calls and send you a letter email days later informing you of their choices. One glitch from 5 years ago- you are out but, they already know that because they had so many others who also paid their fees it's dealer choice!! They don't go by order they go by how you fit their profile, take that as you will. Easy way to "weed out" or "redline" for who their agents think are the best fit! Can't wait for this market to crash hard and I hope all these investor who are also realtors get their Karma!!!!
