Well, everything I read about this place turned out to be accurate. It was definitely worth the…read morewait and definitely worth getting a little bit lost to find my way here! Next time we pass through here I would definitely call the order in via phone, as I know that would've cut down the wait time significantly. They were absolutely swamped on a Saturday night! I ordered the Hawaiina plate for the hubby, along with some Chicken Flautas to share, a Cheese Chile Relleno which is not my favorite but I think that is the only kind they make...2 Beef Gorditas. It doesn't sound like they use a lot of Cilantro even though the pictures show quite a bit on almost every plate. The young lady assured me that most everything comes with tomato onion and sour cream. The hubby prefers flour tortillas so that is what he got with his meal. His meal was very unique and was a mixture of tender fajita beef and chicken liberally sprinkled with cooked bacon topped with cheese. Easily eaten with tortillas but he enjoyed just eating it with a fork. He said it was very rich but delicious!!! They use a good quality flour tortilla but it is not homemade. I was the lucky one! My relleno came with corn tortillas per my request and they were homemade indeed and yes absolutely divine! The Red sauce had a lot of heat to it so I ended up saving it for when I get home so I have plenty of beverages should it be as hot as the first bite felt! It was sure delicious! The taquitos-Which is my name for them, (they are calling them Flautas, but in my opinion they were rolled small and tight and stuffed with delicious seasoned chicken. Had red and green sauce that accompanied them for dipping. Also had some shredded lettuce and then in a couple of thin slices of tomato and sour cream. These things were absolutely delicious and I ate every one of them! I didn't even share!!! The Gorditas were absolutely fabulous. So fresh, had just been put together, nice and warm and a very satisfying comfort food. Next time I will definitely try the sopas. And they were out of Agua Fresca's But I did get a Mexican Coke for the hubster which he appreciated.

Very warm and friendly. The food makes me want to go back as soon as we walk out. The tostadas are my favorite. They are fresh and light and crispy to the end. Idk how they do that. I love the music and all of the people. It is an upbeat and happy place to be. The salsa is delicious and I love it, but it took me a minute to figure out the smell reminds me of stuffed bell peppers like my mom used to make!

Only in Texas will you find a place that creates great barbecue and serves it up in a taco shop…read more Wright On Taco Shop is one of the few buildings in Harleton. The small place is easy to spot; It's the one with all the vehicles parked in front. It's located less than 20 minutes from Marshall, Longview, and Jefferson. Our BBQ lunch started with chips and salsa, the staple of any good taco place. The house-made chips were dusted with chili powder and the salsa was freshly made. The salsa could have had more kick. The brisket had a nice bark, was tender, and had perfect amount of smokiness. The sauce, served on the side, was a bit sweet for my taste. The chopped brisket sandwich was just that: chopped brisket. No sloppy joe mess here. It was served on a hot, toasted bun. The accompanying fries were a let down, not as fresh as everything else. Wright On is still rough around the edges. The menu is eclectic and a little confusing at first, but you can still find familiar favorites. Sodas come in a can. Ice tea and sweeteners are an afterthought. BYOB. Wright On is catching on with recent write ups in Texas Monthly and local papers. It's worth the trip!

A friendly young couple is turning out some amazing, creative, delicious tacos in a cozy, charming venue. The theme seems to be Barbeque-Mex rather than Tex-Mex. I tried the pulled pork taco. Yummy! And the chef treated me to a sample of his pork belly, which was sublime!!! I'll be back soon!!!
