The website for this office has not been updated. I called because I had a referral just to find out they do not accept my insurance even though the website states it does. I had to sit on hold for over 32 minutes. They acknowledge that the website has not been updated. The office does not know the difference between Tricare and TriWest. Lack of understanding for the military community is very frustrating. read more

Amazing doctor. Hands down the best I've had in this field. Worth waiting for even when appointments are backed up.

I had high hopes for this office based upon reviews, and my initial visit was not unpleasant. My poor review comes from the fact that this office released my private medical information to unauthorized parties, breaking HIPPA and sending mail with all of my information addressed to a completely separate person who is not on my account. I would avoid this office if at all possible. They are not reliable. read more

Great doctor but every time I come I end up waiting 30-45 minutes after my appointment time before they bring me back to a room. Makes it really difficult to schedule an appointment around a job. I hate to review a good doctor poorly for something unrelated to the quality of treatment so I'm only deducting one star but honestly I'm sure there are other great doctors out there whose offices aren't running so far behind and I'm about ready to find a new one. read more

If I'm having a baby with a doctor I want them to remember my name. If at our third appointment in three months if you cannot remember my name and keep asking the same things I already answered you in the first two visits.. I am not impressed. You cannot take well enough notes or take the time to review them well enough before we meet and I can see on my chart where it shows I've paid you over $1,500 then you have too many patients. Simply stating to me that you do not remember me because this is only my first child with you is not an excuse and does not leave a positive impression on a new patient. The office staff messed up my bill by several hundred dollars and would not listen to me until I did the math for them in front of them, and I had another doctor refuse to see me when I showed up for my appointment because Dr. Asis's staff failed to fax over my medical release for treatment when I left work and signed the release in person at Dr. Asis's office. Dr. Asis seems like a very nice man but so far as a high risk pregnancy I do not yet feel safe with trusting him with my life and the life of my child in a major surgery situation. I miss my old OB I had for twenty years who delivered my first child and saved my life twice over a decade. I wish she had not retired. Her halls were lined with pictures of all the babies she had delivered- not stock photos. Hopefully as the weeks go on I will be able to establish s better rapport with Dr. Asis and leave a more positive review. His nurses are very nice, friendly and helpful which is always nice, and his office staff now listens to me the first time after our initial hiccups so all is not yet lost. read more

This was my first appointment to ever have with a gynecologist, and I am so thankful I went to Dr. Asis! I was very nervous about having an exam and he explained everything that he was doing, which made me feel a lot more comfortable. Dr. Asis and his staff were so attentive to my concerns and questions and I never felt rushed at all, which is something I've never experienced at any kind of doctors office before. The reception staff is nothing short of amazing. Everyone was so patient and kind with all of the patients! I would/already have recommend this office to all of my friends! read more

I am extremely particular when it comes to mine and my family's health. I like to research so that I know what questions to ask, what to expect, etc. Some Drs really don't handle that well (and I get it - they went to med school and I didn't) but that's just my personality. Dr Asis is fantastic! He has never made me feel dumb for asking questions or like I need to just blindly trust whatever I'm told. He explains things like a pro - he once even drew me a diagram when I was being slightly dense. He does not rush through appointments - something that's rare in healthcare. He showed us great compassion at our first appointment when we thought we had lost our pregnancy and has been a wealth of knowledge as the pregnancy has progressed. His wait times are much better than any other OB/Gyn I've ever been a patient of and his staff are wonderful. His nurse even greets me by name when she's in the waiting room to find another patient (meaning she's not holding my chart reading my name - she actually knows it!). I can't think of a single complaint. . . not even a petty one! If you want a compassionate, competent, informative, and thorough doctor - Dr Asis is for you!! read more

Dr. Asis is a really good doctor. It isn't just that he is smart and knows his stuff. He is also very professional, gentle, and kind. One of the biggest reasons I like going to him for pregnancy is that he does his own ultrasounds. Anyone who has experienced a pregnancy loss knows the trepidation of having an ultrasound and looking for that heartbeat. Technicians are technicians. They aren't physicians so there is something comforting about knowing the measurements on my uterus and embryo are made by someone who is highly trained not just as a technician but as a physician. Gone is the cold(sometimes they are) or just not as knowledgeable technician. This also makes your appointments go much faster. Measurements on your baby and uterus are often only as good as the skill of your ultrasound technician. I have gone to other obstetricians where you are waiting for what seems forever for an ultrasound, and then blood work, and then to see your doctor. He is comforting and will seek the answers to help you with your journey to have a healthy baby. I am really thankful to have such a good doctor. I am happy to have his expertise, and knowledge to be with my through my high risk pregnancies. Dr. Asis is the best. read more

So normally I'm a bit biased in my feelings about doctors. I like those that have good medical backgrounds. If you're going to slice a mole off my back, let's see your recent research in a dermatology journal. I also have always preferred women obgyns to male obgyns. I'm a prude that, skill and specialty held constant, prefers empathy to sympathy. That being said, after reading the terrible reviews of the women gynos around the area, skill and kindness would win out and sympathy would have to be enough. Turns out it was a good decision. I have to agree with the other reviews, Dr. Asis has plenty of sympathy and he's good at the job. He's thorough at asking questions, willing to run tests if you want to check on things (even things not directly related to the standard gyno tests). I had a concern and the office called two days later with the test results...a week earlier than quoted. I may be rethinking my bias. read more

You will not find a more kind, compassionate, and empathetic doctor. I have severe anxiety visiting a gynecologist, but Dr. Asis goes out of his way to be thoughtful, gentle, and talk you through everything. Without exception every time I have seen him I have left feeling that he genuinely cares and will take the time I need. I drive an hour & a half round trip to see him. His nurse Amber is also wonderful. read more

Dr. Asis is amazing! He is handling mine and my husband trying to get pregnant. No results yet, but we have faith in him! He preformed my surgery expertly and put me at ease! You can ask him anything and he patiently spends time with you till you are comfortable that the appointment is ok to end. His nurses, Amber and Michelle, are the bomb dot com! So great at responding to phone calls quickly and setting you at ease! I highly recommend him and his nurses! read more

I am 24 years old and had never been to a gynecologist, and let's just say I was a little worried about it. I have also been childfree since my early teens, so while I planned to discuss hardcore (and possibly permanent) birth control, I did not expect it to go over well because I'd heard horror stories from other women in my situation - especially about male gynecologists. I am so excited to say I was worried for nothing! Dr. Asis was amazing. He was kind and thoughtful, he listened to what I had to say and basically said "your body is your body". He was patient with me and explained what was going on (since it was my first exam) and he made the whole process completely painless in every sense of the word. I would recommend him to anyone I know, I would recommend him to random people on the street if that wasn't a really weird thing to do. I will be going to him for a really long time, and if you are looking for a gynecologist, look no further. read more

Love Dr. Asis! I moved here from Southern California and saw the reviews on him, and seriously he has the most nurturing bedside manner! He is a Dad of 4 kids and I love that he spoke of them! He made me feel very comfortable considering an obgyn office is rarely that. His nurse was very kind, and I highly recommend him! read more

The most attentive doctor, of any specialty, that I've ever had. I had the same OB for almost 20 years and was afraid to change when he no longer accepted my insurance. I found Dr. Asis on Yelp with great reviews so I made my first appointment. He's amazing. I never felt more heard. He has no problem running a test on you, right there in the office, during your appointment if you express a particular concern. He doesn't say you need to come back for another appointment because doesn't have the time. You will never feel like you're being rushed through. read more

Doctor Antonio is friendly, respectful and you'll feel as comfortable as you could with a doctor, when you get time with him. Helpful staff as well. read more

My spouse is 33 weeks pregnant and most of prenup she has done in China, before coming to US. Apparently Dr.Asis's office does not take anyone who is 20 weeks pregnant or more, so don't even bother calling them. read more

Dr. Asis delivered my first born. He was amazing through the entire process. I had to have an emergency C-section, and he was great with that too!I was sad when I didn't get to see him as often after the baby was born! He is genuine, honest, & makes you feel comfortable. I told my husband after the whole process, that I wish Dr. Asis was my doctor for everything. I am expecting again, and am so glad that I will have a doctor I trust. read more

Dr. Asis has been great as both an OB and GYN for me. I had several concerns throughout my pregnancy, and he was great about finding me an appointment ASAP to make sure everything was okay, and ultimately helped me deliver my healthy baby!! I hope I don't have any more babies, but I'd recommend him to women looking for a caring and competent doctor. read more

When I became pregnant, I did a lot of research and finally chose Dr. Asis based on great written and word of mouth reviews. However, I had to be seen before my first scheduled appointment, and he wasn't in the office that day, so I saw his partner, Dr. Patel. Long story short, Dr. Patel is an amazing doctor! I ultimately stayed with her for the entire duration of my pregnancy and will continue to do so. She is a kind, compassionate, skilled doctor with excellent bedside manner. All in all, you can't go wrong with either doctor from this practice-- Denton is lucky to have them! read more

Dr. Asis is the BEST doctor I have ever met! He genuinely cares about his patients and tries his hardest to make you feel comfortable. The MCNT staff are wonderful as well. Christina, Michelle, Shannon (sorry I missed others) are easy to talk to and very professional. Dr. Asis is straightforward, respectful and calmly talks me through everything. Definitely recommend!! read more

I've been Dr. Asis' patient for about a year and a half and he is THE BEST! I discovered him thanks to Yelp, after moving here from NC and not knowing which OBGYN to choose. I'm so glad I chose him! He is so patient, so kind, so funny, and so knowledgeable. Now I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my first child and I can't imagine anyone else delivering my baby. Dr. Asis has kept me calm and confident throughout my whole pregnancy. I'm not one bit worried about the labor and delivery part, and I think that is primarily due to Dr. Asis and his personality and professionalism. Not only do I love Dr. Asis, but I also ADORE his staff- especially Amber, Michelle, and Whitney. These ladies always make me feel special and they seem as happy to see me at each visit as I am to see them! If you're looking for an amazing OBGYN, please do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Dr. Asis. You'll be glad you did! read more
