This place is awesome. Perfect thin crust with a balanced amount of char and tiny little air pockets along the bottom of the thin crust, resulting in a crispy, crunchy, yet airy bite. The sauce and cheese melt in your mouth. Toppings were fresh and high quality. You really can't ask for a better pie. We ordered a large build-your-own pizza, but I noticed that they sell single slices of a large variety of pizzas. It would be fun to just take a random slice collection home to share with the gang. Staff were super friendly and warm. Interior was bright and clean. Really love the retro lawn chair seating outside. I'll be back for more! read more

This pizza is delicate with a nice taste. It is cooked well done and crispy. The owner gets belligerent when you ask for extra sauce on the pizza. The person answering the phone says they will try but can't make any guarantees. The same is true if you ask them to cook it a little less time. When you go to pick up the pizza, the owner questions you why you need extra sauce. Simply telling them that the pizza is dry is not enough. He tells you he put a little more sauce than usual, but it is still barely noticeable. So much for the customer always being right. The other bizarre thing about this restaurant is when you call to order pizza they ask you what time you'd like to pick it up but then they tell you available timeslots. It seems they need 15 to 20 minutes between orders. It is also strange that they are only open four days a week. it sounds like it's more of a hobby than a business. read more

Very unwelcoming place. We bought 10 individual slices and when we asked to sit in the dining room they told us we didn't order a whole pie and we could not. They said they are trying to eliminate customers who buy only slices to sit. We bought more slices than a pie has and paid more than a pie costs so why were we treated this way? But don't put on your website that you only have to order in advance for 5+ pies and then tell a customer that because it's Friday, you need to call and order in advance for 1-2 pies (but every other day of the week is fine). It's confusing and a poor business model. Just post to call and order in advance every day for any amount of pies. Makes me not want to order again. read more

To be fair I can't speak to the quality of the food since I cannot seem to be able to place an order. I have called to place an order three times over the past month for 1 basic pizza and have been told they are too busy. I have called @ 6:00 pm, 5:30 pm and then just recently @ 4:45 pm to get ahead of the rush. Each time I am told they are too busy or have a 2 1/2 hour wait. Good for them I guess but not going to try a fourth time. read more

Phenomenal. The dough is perfect, flour is imported from Italy. Philly special, pepperoni and cookies is my go to.

This spot came highly recommended by a friend who is a chef. I ordered the plain cheese and the white pie. The crust was really good and was cooked perfectly. The issue was really the lack of sauce and cheese on both pies. There were more bubbles than cheese it seemed. It honestly just tasted like I was eating really good crust. I sent the attached photo to my friend who sent me there and he said, "I've never gotten anything there that looked like that!" I had been meaning to try this place out for months. I keep driving by and I couldn't tell if they were open or not. Today I finally ducked in there. I looked at the pre-made pizzas they had sitting out and I though okay its a little thicker than I usually like but the crust looks nice so let me give it a try. I don't know how they do it. The crust is light and flakey and crispy and chewy all at the same time. The pepperoni is cupped and slightly charred. Perfect amount of cheese without overdoing it. Delicious! Antonia's Pizzeria is one of the best pizzerias in the Kennett Square area. It appears to be a small family restaurant. Friendly service. The dough is fresh. The sauce is flavorful and fresh. However, most of the time they run out of whole pies, even on the weekends. Today (Friday at 5PM) all they had were three (unusually dry) left over slices. I'd give this restaurant 5 stars for the food and friendliness, but I have two give three stars for their business model and inconsistency. read more
