They got the mold out of my dad's WWII coat and found a matchbook and his service ribbons in the pockets, worth as much to me as the coat.

This is one of the only laundromats in town and, because of its proximity to my home, is the one I…read moreuse when I need to wash clothes. Things of note: -The owner is in here most days cleaning and checking on things, so the property and machines are well taken care of. -The owner has his phone number printed on a pink card on every machine and lives nearby so he is available to expeditiously fix any issues that may come up. -Only on one occasion did I have an issue with a machine (it didn't drain the water from my clothes so when I opened the machine, they were all sopping wet still). I remedied this by just tossing my clothes in another washer and giving them another cleaning. I never experienced this issue again and have been there countless times since. -The machines only take coin (quarters) but there's a coin machine inside so bring your cash! -Plentiful seating, laundry baskets to transport clothes from washer to dryer, and folding tables. -The laundromat is reliant upon one ceiling fan to cool down the space so during the summer, it can get pretty hot. If you plan to stay while your load washes and dries, plan to bring a book and a cold drink then go sit outside on the steps outside to enjoy the breeze. Nice, helpful owner, clean space, well working machines... all in all, a good place to do your laundry! ($3.25/wash; $0.25/5min on the dryers)

I put my laundry in at 11 AM, made a note of which laundry my wash was in (6th from left) and which…read moresign it was underneath, stepped out briefly, come back in to find my laundry essentially dry, in the 5th washer from the left, and the 6th washer with a pool of water sitting in it. Don't want to play these games with a business. Look elsewhere for a laundromat.

As a (very busy) doctoral student, I RARELY write reviews. However, I had such a strong reaction to…read morethe customer service here that I could not help but take precious time away from my dissertation and job applications to write this. I interacted with this business owner on three occasions. Without going into detail, I walked out of the establishment on each occasion feeling dismissed, and with a bad taste in my mouth. After spending $150 at this business, I have decided to use a dry cleaner 15 mins out of the way so as to no longer support this business. As a New Yorker and Californian, I am quite shocked that this type of customer service is tolerated. Spare yourself the disappointment, and use a different dry cleaning service!

I am from a big city and never in my life have had a dry cleaners pick through my clothes the way…read morethese people did. In Los Angeles I would bring my articles to the cleaners and they would say, "OK see you tomorrow!" No so here. I brought theses people a few silk shirts and a quilt. They picked through and examined the shirts meticulously, explaining why each one was either "already water damaged" or would need "special pressing" and thus my shirts would cost almost $15 a pop to clean. My friend brought a shirt in last year and after they cleaned it they told him never ot come again because the shirt was "too dirty". The quilt they refused to take because it "had too much cat hair" on it and it might break their machine. Really? Do these people want business or what? Do people bring them clothes that are already clean? These people live in a dream world.
