Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and honestly some of the best we've had. The guac was fresh and elevated by the tuna on top, which added a really nice, unexpected touch. Service was wonderful throughout the meal -- attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out at just the right pace. The beers were ice cold, which was perfect given the warm evening. The setting itself is absolutely beautiful -- relaxed, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, making it a great spot whether you're out for a casual meal or a special night. Casa Luna really nails the balance between great food, great drinks, and great ambiance. We'll definitely be back.

I had the cinnamon mole, it was delicious - I expected it to have a strong cinnamon taste but it was prepared beautifully and it tasted like a genuine, traditional mole. Chicken breast portion was very generous. My husband had the steak molcajete. It was just ok. Nothing bad but nothing to come back to. I highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience.

You have to walk up at least four different sets of stairs, so this is certainly not for the handicapped! The rooftop terrace for a restaurant was quite beautiful. Its got a touch of foliage and great interior design to keep me looking around. Our waitress was kind, decent with english, and prompt to our needs. We got there 40 minutes before the mariachi band was about to play. I hate live music when eating, especially when it involves screeching trumpets. Maybe this is a plus for you, but not for me. The Pina colada mocktail was delicious here! Like coconut ice cream, with a decent amount of cherry flavor in the mix. I like the cherry on top for garnish and dynamic. I imagine with alcohol it's just as good. Their queso fundido is quite satisfying. Big gooey globs of stringy salty cheese drive right. Get the chorizo and mushrooms with it, because it makes it 5 times better. They dont cut either item into smaller chunks, but it's still quite satisfying to get everything on one chip. I ordered the sugar cane taco, but ended up with the skirt steak one. It was super basic, with no seasoning, felt like a burger with the lettuce and tomatoes, and the meat was cut in a way where the meat was quite dry and stringy. Avoid this particular taco. The hibiscus taco will not be for everyone, but it was a fantastic foray into sweet and savory. It's like a condensed Jamaica drink but with all the other usual savory components of a taco. The pulpo here is pretty decent. They don't over season and the texture is fairly soft (although there's not much spring). They pile on the avocado on this one! The beef flauntas are quite satisfying. Crunchy outside, bursting with corn oil, and with a decent amount of veggies and crema on the outside. The plantains flameado is quite simple, but if you like brandy and soft, sweet plantains, then you will enjoy this. They don't give you much else other than a creamy sauce to dip the plantain.
