They promptly let us in at 1:30, and were fully staffed waiting for the lunch crowd. You seat yourself and they immediately bring out the 4 different house salsas and a bowl of limes. Love that! There's a menu on the wall or you can scan a QR code at the table. Here's the tacos we ordered: Al pastor- best one; between my husband and I, we ate 10 of these. Costilla- husband rated 7/10 Carnaza- soft and tender Lengua- tender, not chewy, husband rated it 10/10 Dorados- crunchy tortilla with carne molido inside, and topped with carne asada..this was my 2nd favorite. Asada- tender tiny cuts of meat. Total- 10/10 we are already planning on coming back before we leave! Wait staff was attentive and the food came out quickly!

Got there around 8pm and we sat immediately. Place was full but a table for two was open. We sat down and they took our order. I ordered 3 pastor tacos and 3 asadas with cheese. I also ordered a horchata to drink. The tacos came out pretty quickly. The pastor was really good. But the star of the show was the asada WITH CHEESE. The cheese is the key. They fry up the cheese on the griddle and it gives it a slightly brown color from the heat. The asada taco with cheese is the best tacos I've ever had. If you go here order this! I ended up ordering 2 more asadas with cheese because it was so good. They have some delicious salsa at the table as well as pico de gallo and of course lime. I also ordered a jaricalla which is similar to flan. Very delicious! This place is a must stop restaurant when in Guadalajara. It does get pretty busy for a good reason. The people working were very nice. If I didn't have so many places I wanted to try I would have gone again during my visit. This place is simply amazing!!!!

The place is is wall to wall tables and they were all filled when I went. They have table clothes (not fancy, but nice) and fried torillas (like chips, except full rounds) on the table with three kinds of salsa. The service was good and the food came out lightening fast. I am a vegan and I went because Yelp says that it is vegan friendly.... which is hard to find in Guadalajara. I only saw one vegan option, which were potato enchiladas. They were good, but they did not blow me away.

All the staff worked together to make sure everything was taken care of. Tomato bit salsa was good with the tostadas, the green sauce was good and the red sauce was the hottest. Guacamole was excellent, nicely seasoned with a little kick to it. I ordered the chorizo quesadillas and they lacked a lot of flavor. The beans were just ok, and the torta to me tasted like a wet pizza. A bit disappointing. To me this was more of a Tex Mex meal than an authentic Mexican meal. Pricing for 4 people was good but I don't think it was as good as reviews say and I'm sure there's plenty more good stuff in the area. I personally wouldn't recommend being that there's plenty out here to try but I might consider trying something else here to try before I give up on them.

Oh, you didn't know that umami has a color; If you know you know. I walked in and asked what the consommé was and she said beef and so I sat down and a super friendly waiter came into my order, no menu just tacos, Barbacoa and desserts and drinks. No coffee. If you are in the mood for coffee, you may get lucky and get one of their Horchata with coffee flavor but they were out so I skipped the whole breakfast thing and went straight to lunch part! I got one crispy taco and it came with caramelized onions that were just perfect. The salsa on the side consisted of one main red salsa that was spicy so if you can handle it, go for it! I put it both in the taco and inside the consommé with some chopped onion and cucumber and fresh lime and oh my God it hit so great. The server came back to the table and asked if I was OK and I said are you kidding me? This is delicious and he nodded and smiled. The server asked if I wanted anything else but I honestly was on the search for some coffee so I hung out for a little while and it was super chill, and I noticed a lot of Uber eats orders so I know it's very popular with the locals five out of five highly recommend super delicious and super umami. If you like bloody Marys , you have to try this beef consommé!
