Got there around 8pm and we sat immediately. Place was full but a table for two was open. We sat down and they took our order. I ordered 3 pastor tacos and 3 asadas with cheese. I also ordered a horchata to drink. The tacos came out pretty quickly. The pastor was really good. But the star of the show was the asada WITH CHEESE. The cheese is the key. They fry up the cheese on the griddle and it gives it a slightly brown color from the heat. The asada taco with cheese is the best tacos I've ever had. If you go here order this! I ended up ordering 2 more asadas with cheese because it was so good. They have some delicious salsa at the table as well as pico de gallo and of course lime. The most disappointing part of our experience happened as we were leaving. My aunt overheard Juan Jose complaining that our table didn't order any alcohol and only left a 20% tip. We found those comments to be unprofessional and disrespectful. A 20% tip is generally considered a generous tip, and guests should not be made to feel judged based on what they order or the gratuity they leave. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but the level of service fell well below our expectations for such a special occasion. I hope management addresses these concerns so future guests can enjoy both the atmosphere and the hospitality.
