Thankfully, despite all the surrounding amenities, the engineers did a splendid job at ensuring people could still park their cars somewhere so there was no trouble there. Originally, there was no sampling cups. Sampling cups are sometimes essential in these types of places because you can know what vanilla is and what it tastes like, but you never know what version you're getting and sometimes places will try to put their own twists on things. Anyhoo, we asked the person working there and they pulled out the sample cups with a bit of sass haha. I ended up choosing watermelon sorbet for half of my bowl and vanilla/chocolate for the other half. Evidently, I should've tried the vanilla/chocolate because it definitely tasted off. It honestly tasted like chalk lol. The watermelon sorbet was really really good though. I put some chocolate chips over the vanilla/chocolate and a little sharky over the watermelon. The sharky was very stiff--maybe maybe because it was cold but I really do think it was because it was old and had been sitting in the box for too long. Part of me kind of wishes that the self-serve stuff would've retired with covid. Not the froyo or the business itself but I still just find it gross that anyone before me could've messed with the ingredients and I wouldn't know. Also, why do food service WORKERS have to be food certified but nobody has to be food certified at a buffet? Lol it's okay though, I still love my froyo. Once I finally built my bowl, I put it on the weigh station and rang myself out. The machine had the audacity to ask if I wanted to leave a tip. I thought that was a bit funny because it was self-serve and self checkout, so I am still not sure why it asked that. We opted to sit outside at the tables and chairs out there since there wasn't a lot of seating inside. While we were eating, the person working there came out and yelled at us. She told us that we needed to clean and stack the tables and chairs when we were done... keeping in mind, they weren't stacked and clean when we sat down. We noticed that the person working was a teenager that was desperate to close exactly on time. She was wiping everything down, even at the table people were still eating at and was just trying to shove everyone out. This was about 45 minutes before they were supposed to close according to business hours posted and we asked. Regardless of that, the yogurt was great and it is one of my favorite treats! I didn't think it was too bad of a price either--it was under $10!
