I celebrated my birthday with Indian food from this place I found online. It was delicious! We ordered lamb vindaloo, chicken curry, samosas, and chili paneer--all fantastic. The timing was perfect, and the spiciness levels were just right. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was calm, although some background music would have enhanced the experience. Overall, I was pretty happy another birthday on the books ...

Everything was amazing! My stomach wouldn't let me take picture this time! Haha. I had the chicken Malabar, samosas, garlic naan and a mango lassi. Everything was delicious and I definitely had leftovers. The waiter was very nice and friendly. You can also pick your level of spicy! I would recommend going here, the food is SO delicious. I'll be back! I came back with my mom and got the butter chicken! So good again!

This is my all time favorite Indian restaurant in the milwaukee area. Everything I have ever ordered has always tasted fresh and authentic! The service is also great. They have a lot of seating available in the restaurant as well if you are interested in dining in. The walls have a lot of authentic indian decor which adds to the indian-ness of the place.

I stopped here for lunch while shopping the mall because it wasn't that far away from me. Indian food sounded good at the time and something curry probably. It's in an unassuming strip mall that I have driven past for many many years and I never saw it. The place is nice and clean looking inside with colorful art. I passed on the buffet because I get full very easily but I changed my mind after looking at it for a variety to samples. The buffet was pretty good with tasty items that comes with a basket of fresh tasty/hot garlic naan bread. I liked everything I had from the buffet but be careful because the meats have the bones still attached. The samosa was probably my favorite item from the buffet.

Brand new Indo-Pak restaurant serving up the usual Desi fare. I'll bet the chef is Punjabi, northern India at any rate. I haven't been to an Indian buffet for a couple of years thanks to the Pandemic, but when I peeked in the window the place was empty and sparkling clean so I thought I would give it a shot. You know brand new buffets of any Asian persuasion always start out excellent, then over time they gradually learn to skimp on the most expensive spices and ingredients. Well this buffet is brand new and excellent. The generous buffet included mango lassi and chai They even made me fresh nan when I came in. They serve the water in attractive copper ewers with matching cups. There are plenty of vegetarian options, but you should know Indian food is not vegan and they generally don't get that Occidental concept. South Asians treat cows very well and consider dairy to be a gift from the gods. If you're not vegetarian, try the goat curry.

The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was decorated nicely for Ramadan! We got the chicken biryani and butter chicken (two of our favorites when ordering Indian food). The butter chicken comes with white rice and garlic naan, which was to die for. We will be regulars!

That suited us as we were low on time and on our way to an event. Service was efficient and polite - a one man crew up front had everything easily under control. The atmosphere is spare and pretty basic, but that doesn't take away from the food experience. My mom's beef dish came out sizzling and spicy. She enjoyed it and the generous portions means she brought a lot home for an additional meal. BF had chicken tikka, which he also enjoyed. He's usually a lamb guy, but he finished his dish happily. I enjoyed my paneer - it had a good heat level and abundant fresh , whole spices and fresh ginger spears. It was not the more common creamy, mushy spinach, but a fresher version that I presume was more typically Pakistani. I had plenty for two meals. Our breads were good. My cheese bread tasted like cheese pizza and couldn't be terribly authentic, but hey - cheese and bread can't be wrong. Mom enjoyed a plain lassi. I did order a side of rice and was happy to have it with my dish, and while it was a generous portion, the price seemed a little high for a side. I would certainly eat at Peshawar again. Very good food with no bells and whistles.

Tandoor is located in a stripmall that is close to the sidewalk on 108th. If you go just past the end of the strip mall, you'll find a driveway that will take you to the back of the complex where there's parking. It's a small lot but we've never had a hard time finding a spot. The dining room is basic and there's very little atmosphere. It's definitely not the sort of spot you have to dine in to really experiences. In all likelihood, I'll take future orders to go. That said, the dining room is clean and comfortable and the service was pleasant. We ordered the gobi manchurian to start. It was delicious with slightly less heat that I'm accustomed to but none-the-less, a delight. For my main, I got the malai kofta which was pitch perfect. We also got an order of their peshwari naan--also just the right amount of sweetness from the raisins and buttery bread. For dessert, we got the gajar ka halwa, which is an Indian carrot pudding (if you're not familiar). It is absolute comfort food in a dish. My gosh--not too sweet, warm, and lovely. Highly recommend! Get to it!

The Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala came in one pound containers so you get a good amount of food. They were really similar but flavorful and very enjoyable. We also got the paneer and mushrooms & lamb vindaloo. It was our first go at Indian food and I will definitely be trying more. It made us curious what other dishes might be like and I would love to try more. Overall we were very happy with our food! Prices were reasonable, and the staff were very friendly and inviting.
