Fantastic experience! The food, service, and atmosphere were all very good. We heard about this place from an instagram post and decided to try it out. I'm so glad we did! We entered and we were greeted right away by a very friendly woman. We sat at a table with lovely, rustic looking plates. The dining area was decorated nicely and the music was also very pleasant. I used the bathroom once and it was clean and everything was working. Our server brought us bottles of water and menus immediately. We ordered the puffed bread dish called chole bhature which came with a white raita sauce, a Chana chickpea mix and some sort of a pickled side as well. The bread and all the sauces were very tasty. We ordered two lamb curries and the lamb was tender and tasty and both curries were very good. Our server brought us gulab Jamun to try for dessert. Let me say, I'm not a dessert fan, but I loved it. Ordered takeout for the first time and have found a new go to Indian spot! I got Tikka Masala which came with basmati rice and I added on garlic naan. Everything was delicious and seasoned beautifully. Portions are large so could definitely share 1 entree between 2 people. Stopped here for weekend lunch buffet and so happy we did! The food was absolutely delicious and service was great. I tried a bit of all of the vegetarian options - aloo mattar, paneer tikka masala, rice, naan, etc. everything was perfect and not too spicy and still flavorful. They offer mango lassi and chai along with the buffet. I hope to come back for dinner to try some plates such as the samosa chat that may not be offered at the buffet. I ordered vegetable pakora and gobi Manchurian. The pakora was unimpressive. Absolutely nothing worth remembering other than "don't get it again." The gobi Manchurian was inedible. Literally inedible for me. The menu says it has green peppers and onions. It also has cilantro. They failed to mention this either to my face or in writing on their menu. I can't eat cilantro because it tastes like soap. The excuse "all Indian food has cilantro" is a cop out. If your food contains cilantro, it should be listed on the menu. Plain and simple. I literally wasted my money for believing their menu was accurate. Never again. This what I get for trusting them. read more

We came toward the end of the buffet time and food was still made hot and replenished. Fresh Nan made. Kulfi is not part of the buffet but it was worth buying. It's in an unassuming strip mall that I have driven past for many many years and I never saw it. The place is nice and clean looking inside with colorful art. I passed on the buffet because I get full very easily but I changed my mind after looking at it for a variety to samples. The buffet was pretty good with tasty items that comes with a basket of fresh tasty/hot garlic naan bread. We have been to this restaurant (buffet) 3 times. The naan, chicken 65 and chicken curry are the only things that we found to be tasty across all three visits. The other selections were subpar and very one note. The goat curry was also a bit disappointing for both my husband and me. Brand new Indo-Pak restaurant serving up the usual Desi fare. I'll bet the chef is Punjabi, northern India at any rate. I haven't been to an Indian buffet for a couple of years thanks to the Pandemic, but when I peeked in the window the place was empty and sparkling clean so I thought I would give it a shot. You know brand new buffets of any Asian persuasion always start out excellent, then over time they gradually learn to skimp on the most expensive spices and ingredients. Well this buffet is brand new and excellent. The generous buffet included mango lassi and chai They even made me fresh nan when I came in. They serve the water in attractive copper ewers with matching cups. There are plenty of vegetarian options, but you should know Indian food is not vegan and they generally don't get that Occidental concept. South Asians treat cows very well and consider dairy to be a gift from the gods. If you're not vegetarian, try the goat curry. read more

We recently had a great time celebrating our son's engagement through the excellent service of Antique Indian Restaurant led by Pawan Saini. From day one, there service was excellent and very professional and it felt like they were a part of our family. They catered our food and we all thought that the food was very tasty and the prep work was excellent. Pawan's son (Harman Saini) do the DJ work for our program and since he was excellent we highly recommend him as he truly loves being a DJ. I came here for the butter chicken specifically we were trying to figure out spots that had it there was a couple other places but we decided on this one got it whipped not dry fruit they will ask you when you order this anyways then they ask you how hot do you want it spice level I had it with the garlic naan this stuff was so good oh my goodness, this is stuff that I have dreams about oh my gosh it was so good I did come back a second time to get more but the second time I had it there was just a little bit of bone cartilage that I had to spit out a couple times and that really turned me off I hope next time that I have them that I don't have this problem but regardless it is very good, they are very fast to preparing the food which is a very good thing read more

I've tried all the Indian places in town and this one is pretty good overall. Their naan is excellent. I've tried a few different dishes through takeout and they're a little inconsistent - sometimes spectacular, sometimes meh. They don't have lamb, which is a bummer. Chicken is a decent substitute but not quite the same. Price wise they're competitive with the other Indian places. Worth a stop, but not the best in town. read more

First time trying Antique based on my friends glowing reviews. This place is fabulous! We got Chicken Tikka Masala, Aloo Gobi, Chicken Biryani, Fish Pakora, Samosas, and Naan. Great value. Everything was very tasty. I didn't care for the fish, but my husband liked it. Best Samosas I've ever had! Next time, I will ask for some things a little milder. This is the second time I have been to Antique Indian. The Weekend Buffet was outstanding with over a dozen entrees offered. Their Goat curry was tender and delicious, and I think they have the best Tikka Masala that I have had. They also offer Mango Lahsi as part of the buffet, great to cool the pallete. I've been looking for REAL Indian Cuisine all around Milwaukee, and yet this restaurant was hiding 5 minutes from my home without me knowing. I had ordered the Paneer Naan and Goat Curry. The food came out within 10 minutes. The staff was very nice and attentive. the ambience was calming, and made me feel at home even though the restaurant is very differently decorated than my home. That certainly says something. You could tell that the Naan was cooked in a clay oven by the look and by the taste. It was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the curry at a medium spice level, and for once in my life, medium it was. It was perfect. I've had multiple occasions at other restaurants where the food is either too mild or too hot. The goat fell right off the bone and melted in your mouth. I did my best to not just devour it all and really take the time and do the food justice by enjoying it the way it was intended. Now I'm a big guy, I'm 6'4" and 245 lbs. The reason I'm saying this is that I had to ask for a box and I have enough for another meal. They do NOT cheat you on portions. I will be back. read more
