Cold reheated food. Day shift "waitress" is dirty and overcharged. Constant delivery problems and order mistakes. Talks about customers after they leave when the last one that should take about somebody is her!!! If she's touching your food stay away read more

My wife met friends at Anthony's for lunch. She ordered a mushroom Swiss burger for takeout for me for lunch. This was the absolute WORST burger I have ever had any where, any time, by anyone in my life. I would estimate I have had more than 5,000 burgers in my life from every conceivable type food place. The burger was extremely over cooked, dry as dusty dirt, no taste and lacking any redeeming value. Seriously, I would not even consider feeding it to a dog or pigs. It was that poor. I would have to guess the owner of Anthony's does not care about the quality of the food served or the satisfaction of his customers. I see no reason anyone would risk getting served a burger, or anything else from Anthony's, knowing the owner serves food as truly lousy as my lunch. It was a complete waste of money and time. read more

Anthony's Pizza & Subs - Pizza Near Me - Frackville, Pennsylvania

let me start by saying, I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS. but enough is enough already. I don't know if they're under new ownership or new management, but things have not been the same there lately. Ordered a cheesesteak special Stromboli with onions peppers and mushrooms and no pepperoni two weeks ago and they sent me a regular Stromboli instead. The one with salami ham and pepperoni. Tonight again I ordered a cheesesteak special Stromboli with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and no pepperoni and was sent a regular Stromboli with ham and pepperoni and salami. I called to tell them about it and see if they could fix it and the girl on the phone was so rude and told me that I placed my order with slice and not with them but I told her I called the same number that I have been calling for the last four years. The one stored in my cellphone. My receipt said cheesesteak, Stromboli, but that's not what I was inside. She finally said that they would remake me the Stromboli that I ordered, but I had to give that one back, which I was fine with. Open the box once it gets here and it's nothing but cheese. Barely any meat in the whole thing, just drowning in cheese. So much that it was very hard to eat. Basically not even edible. No mushrooms, no onions no peppers like I ordered. This used to be my absolute favorite place in the world to order from but something has been going on recently. One time ?OK. Two times? OK : three times within a two week period?? I fear I just lost my favorite restaurant. read more

Ordered food to be delivered at 2:20pm. Was told it would be 45 min to 1 hour for delivery. At 3:30pm called Anthony's (and hour and 10 minutes after placing order) to find out where our food was. We were told "the driver left a while ago, she'll be there soon." We Did not receive our food until 4: 20pm which was 50 minutes after the driver allegedly left to delivery our food and 2 hours exactly from the time we ordered.) The delivery person was a male and not a female as was stated by the person we spoke to at Anthony's on the phone. The delivery driver said, "I'm sorry for being so late" and was gone as soon as he got the cash in hand. I ended up having to reheat everything we ordered which was a cheesesteak, a cheese steak wrap, breadsticks, french fries, and breaded broccoli bites. The french fries and breaded broccoli bites were still disgusting even after reheat. The lettuce for the wrap was on the side and not in the wrap. No special order was placed in order for them to do that. We called Anthony's to report our dissatisfaction with their food and delivery timing. We explained this was not the first time food was late however this was the longest it ever had been and the worse it's ever been in terms of temperature and taste. We asked for a manager and was told to hold on which we did. After 5 minutes of being on hold, a man answered the phone saying he was not a manager but was working his way up to being the manager. He stated they do not have a manager at that time. He offered a 10% discount on our next order. So basically $4 is what was offered for them delivering disgusting cold food and missing an item that was ordered and paid for as well after waiting a whole two 2 hours waiting!? If that wasnt bad enough, the fact that we know that our food was in a vehicle for at least 50 minutes before being delivered to our house is the icing that takes the cake! A $4 discount on our next order is a ridiculous gesture and entirely laughable! We will not be using the $4 discount and I will be reporting Anthony's Pizzeria in Frackville to the better business bureaus and posting my review on YELP as well as other review sites. NO APOLOGIES WERE RECEIVED BY THE HOPEFUL ONE DAY MANAGER. HE SHOWED NO EMPATHY AT ALL FOR OUR MISFORTUNE AND HOPE ANTHONY'S HR SERIOUSLY REEVALUATE THEIR INTENTIONS TO PROMOTE HIM TO MANAGER! ANTHONY'S PIZZERIA'S CURRENT TREATMENT IF THEIR CUSTOMERS IS SIMPLY HORRIFIC! AS THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME OUR FOOD WAS LATE NOR THE FIRST TIME WE RECEIVED HOT ITEMS COLD AND ENTIRELY UNETIBLE, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE EAT OR ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! I CAN'T EVEN CALL IT A PIZZERIA. ITS A VERY BAD EXAMPLE IF A BUSINESS! A REAL BUSINESS PUTS THEIR CUSTOMERS FIRST AND FIXES WHAT THEY SCREWED UP, NONE OF WHICH ANTHONY'S DID TO PLEASE THIS NOW FORMER CUSTOMER! read more

Constantly takes at least an hour (most times longer) to get your food. They never get your order right... even the simplest order.

The pizza was delicious and we just got a simple pepperoni! The atmosphere is great, got some lights, tv and a little bit of music. The service was great, food came out very quickly, and we received service as soon as we got there. Great little hole in the wall place to eat. Looks like they have a nice bar too. read more

Three of us had lunch there, and it was a very good experience. In particular, the small calzone was enormous, and half of it was brought home for leftovers. The lady at the register was very accommodating to us, who were clearly passing through from out of town. We will go back next time we pass through Frackville at meal time. read more

My husband ordered food for us to take home. We ate some of the food and became very sick with diarrhea and vomiting. Once we became sick, I put the food where it belongs!!! IN THE Garbage!!!! We ordered sandwiches and wings that cost us over $40 and hours of pain and discomfort!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to our worst enemy!!! When I called the restaurant to let them know we had become very sick, there was no manager or owner to speak to. Don't know if that is on purpose!!!! I just wanted them to know so they could correct so other people wouldn't get this sick!!!! read more

Our ordered consisted of 2 orders of Calamari, 1 margarita pizza, 1 fettuccine Alfredo, 1 fried dough, and 2 cannolis. The calamari was burnt and had the consistency of a BF Goodrich all season tire. The margarita pizza water boarded me as I tried to eat the doggies slice of all time. The fettuccine Alfredo was a heaping cow pie of buttered noodles. The fried dough tasted like powdered goat balls. One cannoli came empty. It was almost as if someone hooked up a shop vac and sucked out the cream. The other cannoli just tasted like feet. Most definitely recommend if u have a fetish for terrible food. Oh and our drinks where forgotten. At least the driver got a $10 tip read more

If I'd be able to give it a 0 I would. Nothing but a bunch of teens working with no care at all. They just throw the food together and send it out. It's just not the same anymore. Complete garbage for food. read more

Ordered the cheese steak and it was disgusting. Took one bite and threw the rest in the trash. This place sucks .

Ordered many thing since there prices are so reasonable. At least compared to where I live. I'll start with the pizza , Huge NY flop, oily as hell, but the cheese and sauce was pretty good also a bit of a crisp to the crust. Habanero wings where on point. Stromboli small was huge. If your in the area cause you live here or from NYlike me and going off roading, five this place a chance !! Good prices read more

Anthony's Pizza & Subs - a slice of pizza on a paper plate - Pizza Near Me - Frackville, Pennsylvania

absolutely terrible. ordered my food (2 subs, a salad, and a wrap) and after waiting an hour to pick it up (originally quoted 30-40min) I was told that it was going to be a longer wait because they ran out of bread. waited yet another half an hour before receiving my food. this is the second time that this has happened and all of my food was cold (wrap and side of fries) and my sub that was supposed to be toasted was ice cold as well. nothing but a bunch of teenagers messing around. needs to be managed asap. and the audacity to ask for a tip on top of this. 0/5 stars, DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

The food is good for dining in. If you order out you can expect delivery times in excess of 1 hour and your order will arrive cold. On several occasions delivery time was 2 hours. There is a delivery charge. read more

Anthony's has delivery or, you can "pick up." This place has the BEST pizza in the world. For your own sake, don't have your pizza DELIVERED. There is NOTHING like a HOT pizza from this nice little restaurant. DELICIOUS!!! The place is clean and the staff is very accommodating and nice. Has the feel of Philly and that's saying, this place is pretty great! read more

I would like to say that the counter staff that u have on tonight that took my order was very polite an awesome so i hope you will let them know that also the food is always very good and the delivery is on time keep up the greatness i will always be a Anthony Pizza Fan !!!!!!!!! read more

For a little pizza & sub joint, Anthony's definitely impressed! They hit the spot, I am so happy we stopped here. I highly recommend it if you live close by or are just passing through, which is what I did! I hate stopping at fast food chains and on this particular trip we were starving and nothing sounded good till we googled and found Anthony's Pizza & Subs. We called ahead and got a cheesesteak and fries. The location is right off of the exit and had parking out front. Super convenient for us! Upon walking in, they had a nice seating area, great for families. In the back was the counter to order and it had a window with already made pizzas, where you can grab an individual slice. Obviously, we had to add a slice of cheese pizza, it looked so good and just came out of the oven! And since we were taking it to-go we asked if they would cut the one slice in half, they happily obliged. Which reminds me, the customer service was great, they were super on top of it, and very nice and accommodating! Even when we ordered our cheesesteak with tomatoes, then without tomatoes, then changed our minds back to having tomatoes, lol. The cheesesteak was 5 stars! They HAD to have made it on freshly made bread, I am pretty sure it was actually pizza dough made into a hoagie shape, it was SO GOOD! I am actually sad now that we don't live close by. The pizza was equally as delicious, I would also give 5 stars. I though it would be a boring slice of cheese, but the sauce had excellent flavor and I was seriously impressed and was upset that we only split a piece and I didn't get my own. Lastly, this was like $10 and some change. Cheaper than if we stopped at Taco Bell for the two of us! And we were completely stuffed and satisfied! Thanks Anthony's, keep on what you're doing! read more

Had pizza and pastrami sub and antipasto salad delivered to my hotel, totally impressed! Great, friendly employees on the phone and in person and food was fantastic! Prices VERY reasonable for the massive amount of food you get. Probably will never travel through here again but if I did, would absolutely reorder from here. read more

They get our order wrong EVERY single time. They even repeat it back to us over the phone and it's still wrong on the receipt we get with the delivery (and obviously did not get what we ordered). Sometimes we call back, but they sound annoyed and like they don't believe us. Today will be the last time we order from them. read more

I did not get anything close to what I ordered and was asked after it was made if that was ok because they were out of hot sauce. Also I ordered cheese steaks which came 15 minutes after I was done eating. Not sure how dropping something in the fryer takes that long. The women working the register was polite though read more

Anthony's Pizza used to be good but after several bad experiences I will never order from there again. The last debacle was in the form of a tomato garlic pizza. It was ordered as "pick up" in advance and I was told about 30 minutes. When I showed up 30 minutes later I paid and was told my order would be ready shortly. Long story short it was another 45 minutes until I received my order. As for the pizza.... well to put it in perspective; I don't just like garlic, I love it. However if I didn't see the rude little owner make it himself I would swear it was made by The Frog Brothers in order to destroy vampires. It was not edible. read more

Not a good place for pizza or subs. Cher's teaks were on a piece of flat bread looked like a flounder and the seasoning on the steak sucked. Pizza unimpressed not what I thought. Go at your own risk read more

Being from the area, I needed to get a "hoagie" before we headed back to Las Vegas. Not a mile from where we were staying stands Anthonys. Small pizza/hoagie shop with plenty of seating to eat in or place your order to go. Friendly staff and casual setting. Off street parking. The pizza was on display, and looked and smelled really good, but I wasn't hungry and was on a mission to get our lunch for tomorrow, so we didn't have to eat the horrid airport food. I ordered 2 Italian subs with everything. They were made quickly, and were only 6$ a piece. A peak into the bag, they looked huge. 12 inches if not more, good amount of meat and cheese, on what I'm guessing is a baked roll, not a store bought package roll. And they were delicious, tastes like what a hoagie should. If in the area again, I'd go for another or try something else. They also sell cake and Italian ice if you have a sweet tooth. read more

Didn't get the order I want the bathroom is disgusting delivery takes about 3 hours would not recommend

Sometimes it's good.....I work close by so we order from here a lot. Sometimes the food is good, sometimes it's kinda crappy and cold. The delivery is iffy always. Sometimes you get it in 20 minutes other times I've waiting 2 hours. It's been a roulette game of good pizza restaurant or not-so-good. read more

Third time ordering from this place. First 2 times were good....tonight not so much. Asked to have the pizza well done, light on the pizza sauce, a side of crushed red peppers, extra plates and napkins as we are staying at the nearby hotel. The food was delivered about 1.5 hours later and was cold. The pizza was the least done pizza I have ever seen, was not light in pizza sauce, there were no crushed red peppers, and no plates or napkins. I called to complain and when I spoke to the manager he didnt seem to care and when I asked to have some of the bill taken off he said he didnt know how since it was already charged to my card. Needless to say will not be ordering from there again. The fact that he said he did not know how to take money off the bill was the most frustrating part! read more

Ok... This is the second night ordering dinner at Anthony's. What a delicious meal! My husband and I both ordered lasgna and salad with blue cheese dressing. It really is out of this world! You have to try the lasgna or lobster ravioli & a salad... It's just that good! 5 stars! read more

We were out for the day on New Year's Day, and were looking for pizza take out - yay, this place was open! Friendly folks, they let us upgrade our Sicilian pizza to qualify for their daily special - for that day it was buy a large combo, get a free small pizza. We snarfed some in the car before our trip home. Dough was cooked properly and was tasty. Sauces for both were different - Sicilian was slighty sweet. Overall, a pleasant experience. read more

Anthony's Pizza & Subs - Sicilian pizza take out, after some bites - Pizza Near Me - Frackville, Pennsylvania

This is going to be our new go to when ordering out. It's hard to find a place like this (really good food, decent prices, pleasant staff, clean). It's great that they have such a variety on their menu and when I called in my order the woman who placed it listened to my preferences and everything was right. That is rare around here and it is much appreciated. Definitely will be going back. read more

I've had several things from their menu. The pizza is outstanding. Every pasta dish I've had was VERY good. Their salads are VERY good as well. I would love their cheesesteaks and hoagies if they didn't use those damned pizza dough rolls alot of places are making in-house now. My advice, start using AMOROSO rolls, even if this means raising prices a bit. Other than my personal preference of sandwich roll, I do highly recommend Anthony's of Frackville. It won't disappoint you!! read more

We ordered from here as a suggestion from the hotel we were staying at. We waited over an hour and they tried to say the driver went to our room. We were waiting in the lobby and no one came. The driver came with someone else's order with our address. A half hour later still no food, so we canceled our order. A total of two and a half hours later another driver came with food. How is it okay to make someone wait that long for a dinner delivery?! read more

I've been burned by Anthony's on multiple occasions. Why I think it might be better the next time is beyond me. Their one saving grace is the freshly baked rolls and breadsticks. If you like that kind of thing...order those, but only if you're in the actual location. Should you choose to order from home, be prepared to wait an extraordinarily long time. Upon ordering, usually a pizza or two (sometimes with breadsticks or fries), I've been quoted times ranging from 30 to 60 minutes and in reality waited over 2 hours. No joke. 2...hours. It's ridiculous. This has happened on multiple occasions. When you call to complain, they simply say, "The driver is out. He'll be there as soon as possible." 2 hours. When the food arrives, it's lukewarm and wrong. I've gotten shorted whole pizzas before. It's tragic. read more

Stopped here for lunch on my way back to the office. Had the Grilled chicken Caesar salad. I asked if they could Cajun the chicken for me, was not an issue. Salad was large and in charge. The pizza is pretty average but the cheesesteaks here are awesome. The rolls are always so fresh and delicious.
