Brought my wife's ring in for repair, and was quoted 3 weeks. A bit long, but ok. 4 weeks later, the ring was not ready. It took 6 weeks and they did not call when it was done, I had to call them. The repair job is not great, the ring is noticeably off and not straight. There was to be a resizing to go with the repair. I had brought in a ring that fit my wife perfectly, so I could ensure that the repaired ring was resized correctly. I had a conversation with the man working that the ring needed to be sized down, that it was too big. They resized it up. They lied about resizing it all, claiming they didn't resize it when it has clearly been sized up. The band is now damaged and scratched. When my wife brought it back to point out the error and to get it resized correctly, she was accused of lying. She was told that I had given them the size and they had sized it to that, and it was our fault if it didn't fit. We would have to pay to have it sized again. When my wife pushed that a ring was brought in to be sized the employee got a little hostile with her. They refused to correct their error. There are many jewelers in the area that range from pretty ok to great. Anthony's is not among them. Save yourself the time and money. read more

When he came into this shop he found a white gold band with a few diamonds that had been custom made. It turned out to be the perfect ring...not gaudy or flashy, but a nice match for my heirloom set. And for a much better price than the Jarrod and Kay Jewelers options. I found out later that this shop also custom made my BFF'S engagement ring and it is a truly beautiful piece! I went in to Anthony's to have two pieces of jewelry priced out for me. Before I could finish explaining what I was looking for, the woman behind the counter snarled "we've been in business for 25 years, and I've never heard of that." Other jewelers I got quotes from didn't seem to have a problem knowing what I was looking for, so I asked to see a catalog book so I could point to it. I found what I was looking for and showed it to the man who took my name, number, and jewelry specs. He told me he would call me with a price. Three weeks later, and no call. I'm not going to waste any time going in again to ask for an update. However, I would like to know how they've stayed in business for "25 years" if they don't call their customers as promised.
