I purchased a speedqueen washer from Anthony's. I also got the one with a 5 year warranty. Nearly 5 years into having the washer I started having a technical issue with the panel. I called and got service twice. The second was a replacement of the panel. Repairman was very professional and was no charge for me. Was glad I had warranty. Still working. read more

I requested service to have my dryer repaired. Ethan was the technician who came to access what was going on with my dryer. He literally came, and figured out the issue, ordered the parts. And lo and behold came the next day on Saturday and fixed my dryer. I can't say enough about the company. The owner Mr. Anthony is very nice too. Ethan is the man and I highly recommend this company anyone needing their appliances repaired. Thank you for everything. A Fast. Friendly and Extremely professional company. 10 out of 10! read more

I would recommend them. Ethan was knowledgeable and professional. The issue with my freezer was fixed promptly and I also appreciate how well he respected my home. read more

Needed washer repair. Called my warranty company and Anthony's was recommended. They were professional and courteous. Part was ordered, received and repaired promptly. read more

Service and communication met expectations. They came promptly and fixed the issue with our water/ice maker. What I take issue with is charging $150 for a $50 part with no justifiable reason. I understand labor costs. This was not their labor, that was charged separately and was perfectly reasonable. read more

The technician-ETHAN that came over provided me IMPECCABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. He is very knowledgeable, very skilled, and very polite technician that troubleshot and fixed my Maytag washer. He even reset the system to make sure that before he left, it works perfectly as it is designed to do! THANK YOU! I got this washer from LOWE's and I did, and strongly suggest to appliances' buyers in LOWE's to get that "extra" year(s) of warranty especially IF and ONLY IF - ANTHONY's APPLIANCES, from Suffolk, VA will do the troubleshooting/repair. read more

Anthony ordered the part needed and installed it in a timely manner. He was very professional and neat. We were very pleased as it was a positive experience. read more

My Maytag washer's water valve needed to be replaced. I have an extended warranty through Home Depot's Allstate program. Allstate dispatched the job to Anthony's Appliances. Anthony's tech Ethan was prompt, professional and familiar with the repair. Work was performed expediently and with care. Excellent service! read more

My washing machine door pin broke and the door would not stay closed. I contacted Anthony's Appliance Repair for help. Anthony was super! He troubleshooted with us what was wrong with the door, overnighted the part.for us, and fixed it quickly. He communicated with us throughout the entire time and never left us guessing as to when the door would be fixed. I highly recommend him!! read more

Anthony was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Fixed my dryer in a timely and very affordable manner. Will use again.

In summary, if you have time to spend waiting around for phone calls to be returned and people to show up when promised, then the actual service you eventually receive is OK. If you need an appliance repaired quickly and/or people to return your calls and show up when they say they will, then go somewhere else. We needed our dishwasher repaired as it was leaking all over the floor. We called and had someone at our house within a few days. There were two issues, one of which (the gasket) was repaired immediately. The other (bigger) issue was the valve at the back of the appliance. The repairer couldn't figure out how to get the dishwasher out and agreed to come back on another day when my husband could be there to help. He agreed to return on Friday between 1 and 5. My husband got up early and took the morning off work to figure out how to pull the dishwasher out to save the repair guy some time and aggravation. He managed it, and left for work leaving the dishwasher in the middle of our (small) kitchen. At 4 pm I hear my phone ringing and narrowly miss their call. I call back immediately and it rings out and goes to voice mail. Their office has, however, left a message stating that their repairer was stuck in traffic and has run out of time to come out that afternoon. (Keep in mind that this guy was fully aware that my husband was taking time off work to help sort this out). They promised to have someone out at 8 am the following Monday. Monday 8 am comes and goes. I try phoning at 11 am and get a recorded message saying there won't be anyone in the office until Thursday! I try the two numbers the repairer wrote down for me, one of which is a disconnected number with the other going to an unidentified voice mail. I will add that we are tenants and this company complained that they were hesitant to come out a second time as the first bill had not been paid by our landlady when we were waiting for them to come out the second time. Fair enough. We offered to pay ourselves and they agreed to come back. If they were concerned about payment then making an appointment time and not showing up (twice!) is not very helpful to either of us. Incidentally our landlady had exactly the same experience we did in trying to contact this business when trying to pay the bill. She got voice mail on every occasion and it took a minimum of 2 days for them to return her call, at which point she would either be at work or asleep (she does shift work). In short, they are very nice, polite people when you talk to them on the phone and have them at your home, but it is very difficult to make contact with them at all. I am still waiting to hear from them. read more

I am pretty hard to impress, but these guys did impress me. My washer went down about a month after my dryer. (taken care of by another company) I was frustrated...to say the least. Even more frustrated when my insurance company scheduled for Anthony's Appliances to come out 3 weeks later. Family of four with no washer? (we don't live in the city where there are laundry places every other block) So I called the company and they were able to fit us in the following week. YAY! The gentleman who came was very nice and knowledgeable. He seemed to know right away what the issue was and fixed it within 20 mins. Couldn't believe it! Very impressed with the overall treatment and speediness of the fix. I waited almost a month to write this review to make sure it stayed fixed and it has. If we have any more problems, I will go with them! Keep up the good work! read more

I had the misfortune of needing appliance work, but I must say that I fell into good hands here. The time I spent scheduling the appointment was seamless; my warranty company selected Anthony's Appliances as one of their top rated appliance repair companies. The technician arrived within the 4 hour window that I was quoted, and worked professionally, while politely explaining to me what was happening with my appliance, why, and what part, if any, the warranty covered. The technician ordered my parts and the pleasant lady over the phone was able to fit me into the schedule perfectly. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience with Anthony's Appliances and I intend to use them for future appliance servicing needs. read more

Had them come out and diagnose an issue with my range. That was 3 weeks ago. I have called many times with no response. I even had the range manufacturer call them since it is warranty work and they still did not respond. The manufacturer said they will review whether or not to use their services. I highly recommended that they take them off the list. Reviews show that they NEVER answer the phone and this is true. Horrible! Also, when Anthony's came out, they said that the two cooling fans would have to be replaced. When they came out, they didn't even move the range away from the wall. Well, the other appliance repair company came out yesterday, pulled the range out from the wall, and tightened two screws that were loose. Voila...noise gone. Anthony's (if they had come back out a second time) would have charged for two visits and two fans whereas the other company came out and charged for just one visit to tighten two screws. Unreal! read more

I don't want anyone else to be taken like I was, so let me warn you about these guys by telling you my experience with them. This is solely based upon my perspective of the experience. Use your own judgment. I called my home warranty company and indicated that there was a problem with my washing machine. They put me in contact with Anthony's Appliance Inc. They called me the next day and made an appointment. So the day of the appointment comes, and he pulls up to my driveway. He rings the doorbell, I open the door, and he proceeds right in. Nope buddy! First and foremost, protocol dictates that you first say "hello" and they say "my name is 'x' from Anthonys appliance company" Nah, this BAMA wants to step right in my home without speaking or telling me his name. So, I stop him, and ask him his name. Then he gives it up, but still does not say "good morning" or "hello" Rude! So then, he comes back to the laundry room, where he just stands there, and runs the washing machine. He does not take out one tool, he does not use not even a flashlight to determine the source of the noise. He does not check one motor bearing, does not check any bushings, or transmission. He just stands there and proclaims, we'll its not making any noise now. I cant do anything. Its working. I told the receptionist that it is spinning, but it is just making a loud whining noise. They knew beforehand that the washer was operational, but was just making noise. If they could not fix it under those known circumstances, then why did they come out? There was no point in coming out other than to make money. They expect to be paid for nothing. I work hard for my money, I wish they did the same. In my job I put customer service and satisfaction number one. I wish they did the same. It seems this company is all about the "filthy lucre" Pay me, no matter what. If I could rate them "0" I would. They are not welcome in my home. I do not feel they are honest. read more

Worst company ever!! I give them a zero!! Good luck if you need to call!! You won't get a person to answer!!

Very knowledgeable an courteous. They always have showed up as scheduled, and even called just before they came out, so I didn't have to wait at home all day. I have tried using other appliance repair companies, and I can say Anthony's has consistently impressed me. I would highly recommend them. read more

My dishwasher came from Lowe's and they set up an appointment with Anthony's to have it repaired. Big mistake. I never saw a technician so I can't judge their work. They never came out. I have called their office phone and cell phone, all I get is a recording. I have left messages each time and they DO NOT return calls. The 2 times that I talked with a person, she said she was going to talk to Samsung but she never called me back. I called Samsung directly and they have taken care of the problem for me and they are sending someone to help me. I suggest that Lowe's discontinue using Anthony's because they make Lowe's look bad. read more

Horrible customer service! Just sat around because my only window was from 8am-5pm...Dumbest window ever. So I am sitting here waiting for the dishwasher repair company and I have rearranged my whole week to allow a whole day off to wait. I can't cook or clean just in case the technician needs that area. None the less, by 2:30pm I get a nice phone call from Frigidaire that the company accidentally overbooked and now cannot show up until next week! Sounds like somebody wanted to take an early 4th of July vacation. So my week is ruined, not to mention a broken dishwasher over a holiday. Why didn't they know they were overbooked until 2:30pm? Who is overbooked for a whole week? Needless to say, the company could have at least called to explain and apologize, but no. Leave it up to Frigidaire to call me and offer another service. I will never use such an unprofessional service again! read more

Do not use, we had to pay out of pocket for a repair that should've been covered by manufacture warranty.

Could almost quote Kristin B: If I could give him 0 stars I would. He was contracted through the warranty company with to repair my Fridgadaire refrigerator. They were prompt to show up for the initial visit to see what was wrong. The replacement parts were ordered and when I finally was able to contact them back, the parts had been returned and ticket closed. Contacted warranty office to re-open and they again came out to evaluate. Parts were supposed to have been ordered again, but they would never answer/reply to my phone calls / voice messages. Must have been screening for did-satisfied customers. My sincere recommendation is to never...never use this guy if you want your appliances repaired! read more

If I could give him 0 stars I would. He was contracted through the warranty company with Samsung to repair my refrigerator. He was prompt to show up for the initial visit to see what was wrong. He ordered the parts and then never came back, wouldn't answer voice messages sent repeatedly by myself or through the warranty company. Never use this guy if you want your appliances repaired! read more

Two years ago we called Anthony to repair a washing machine and later to repair a refrigerator, so obviously when our oven needed repair a couple of weeks ago, we again called Anthony. After leaving six messages on the company phone and getting no response, we called his cell phone and was told that someone would call us that same day. It has been two weeks now and we have heard nothing. It's disappointing to learn how unreliable the company is. I have recommended this company in the past but will no longer do so. read more

Horrible communication. They were subcontracted through a major company to come fix my range under waranty. They called the morning of my appointment to confirm the address and never showed up! Found out days later they denied my request to fix, but didn't return any of my calls and messages. read more

I wish I had read these reviews prior to working with this company. I am a business owner myself and really try to give businesses a chance to rectify a wrong. This company was assigned to us from HH Gregg extended warrenty. They came out pretty quickly and said they needed to order a part. Three weeks later, WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR, they wont return our calls. We have no idea what is going on. I can appreciate being busy, but ignoring a client is uncalled for! There are many companies to choose from and I wouldn't suggest using this one. read more

This company was referred to me by Lowes to fix my brand new refrigerator. I was scheduled for them to come out but the day of my appointment the guy called me and said he was on the way and running late. I asked how long it would take because I had to pick up my kids from school. He said depended on the problem so I told him what was going on. He said he had recently fixed what sounded like the same problem at another house and that he would order the part and reschedule. I agreed and waited for the call. Nearly two weeks passed and I called them to find out where my part was and when my fridge would be fixed. She said she had tried calling, funny thing was I had no missed calls from them. I received an appointment and the guy came out to fix it. Problem was the door flap on the fridge door would not close properly and the ice was melting and leaking out constantly. This led to the ice maker freezing up completely and the motor needing to be replaced by the time they came out. The guy replaced whatever was wrong with the motor but did not come equipped to fix the door. ???? He then had to go back to the office, order me whatever part, and then would have them call me back to reschedule again once that part was in. I never received a call, they do not answer their phone, i leave messages to no avail, and now I think my motor has frozen up again. I had to call Lowes again and now they have scheduled me with another company. Lets hope this on works out because two months without an ice maker on a new fridge is a bummer. read more
