Dr. Weinert a very well respected excellent doctor. Some of these reviews are very questionable. probably coming from other podiatry offices that are in competition. I have been going to him for 20 years and there's no way he's ever been mean spirited whatsoever! I've only ever experienced being a very caring, very kind doctor with excellent bedside manner. If I could give this place less than one star, I would. Dr. Weinert displayed the most insensitive, mean-spirited bed side manner, I've ever encountered. You know you're getting great service when you turn to Yelp after a long period of absence. Dr. Weinert is the ONLY podiatrist I trust. I started seeing him after some pretty severe foot pain issues, which a few other doctors had written off and given me massive amounts of pain medicine for. Basically I was told this was something I'd have to deal with, and deal with it pharmaceutically and with some awful orthotics that didn't seem to do much besides irritate me. I started doing my own internet research and found Dr. Weinert relatively close to home, and decided to see him. BEST.MOVE.EVER. He explained that a lot of my pain was due to flat feet (the pain radiated up into my knees, hips, and back- I had thought they were all separate issues), and that there was a 15 minute surgical procedure that he could perform to correct them. The procedure is called Hyprocure, and Dr. Weinert is a master Hyprocure surgeon. Naturally, I was nervous- but I listened to what he had to say, watched a video of how the surgery works, and decided to move forward with it. There was virtually NO downtime, and my pain is 100% improved. Basically, it's a stent device that's places in the soft tissue of your foot between the heel bone and ankle bone, stabilizing the foot and preventing everything else in your body from correspondingly getting out-of-whack. My life has truly been changed for the better from the Hyprocure procedure, expertly performed by Dr. Weinert. My wife went to see Dr. Weinert because she had a foot pain. After checking her, he wanted to sell foot inserts at $1000 which he assured will not be covered by the insurance (were those really needed?). He injected a cortisone shot (similar to other review) and send her home. His second alternative was a foot surgery called HyProCure that was also very expensive and not even needed (we realized this later). He thinks having a picture with Dr Oz and with Oprah makes him a good doctor. He is just interested in making as much money out of every patient. One week after, my wife went for a second opinion and was able to get the right treatment for her foot pain without cortisone shots. Better look for another doctor which best accomplishment is not a picture with famous people, but actually helping people get better. read more

I can't express how thankful I am for Dr. Weinert! I've suffered with this agonizing pain in my ankle for approximately a couple of months now, all in hopes of it getting better on its own but it got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore so I broke down and finally made an appointment to have it checked out. Not only has he helped with the pain, he took the time with me to explain the root cause of it and the solution to fix it, permanently. If anyone is looking for a great foot doctor then this is the guy to see. He and his staff make you feel at ease from start to finish. This doctor double books. Went to see him for my first appointment. He didnt impress me, especially after waiting 30 minutes longer than my appointment time. I told them when I came early for that appointment that I have to get to work, sadly, I was late, because of the double booking! He does not listen to your concerns. I went in because I was in pain, he assessed my walking. Did this really cool live x-ray and told me that I had issues with my ankles. I do not have ankle pain. Nor ever had issues with my ankles. I am not going back to him because he recommended surgery to correct my ankles. This is unnecessary as I do not have ankle pain! I went in for something else. He gave me a cortisone shot that lasted a month. I paid my co pay for a shot. I had called my insurance company to tell them that I will not be going back there. Went for a second opinion elsewhere. Guess what Doc, my ankles are fine! In the beginning of June I went to a foot surgeon, someone who actually knows the structure of the feet and specializes in sports medicine. I had the surgery that I needed to correct the issues. Guess what, my ankles are still fine! No one in their right micd should ever listen to this guy! He told me that the ligament in my left ankle was too wide! That right there raises questions how this guy practices! Dont go to him! You'll probably have more unnecessary surgeries than you bargined for! read more

Just got out of Dr Anthony Weinert's office after having foot surgery. If you have foot pain, please go visit him as he is the best!! I just had the best surgical experience ever, really amazing. I have the same smile going out as I did going in and throughout the procedure. A private, professional, caring environment with great service, excellent experience with thorough preparation for the procedure. Super staff, great treatment and good conversation to go along with the soothing music. Most importantly, Dr Weinert made sure I had zero pain as I was awake during the whole procedure. I went to simply get an ingrown toe nail corrected. As I sat in the waiting room I noticed a photo of Dr.Weinert with television's Dr. Oz.. I felt unsure after seeing that knowing that Dr. Oz in a quack that recommends bad advice on his show. Dr. Weinert was nice enough. I had hopes I could get my toe fixed pain free and be on my way. I was told I may have a toe spur although the x-ray did not show it. That he would not know until he cuts open my toe. The operation would cost $500 since my insurance would not cover it. I told the receptionist how upset I was and she talked to Dr. Weirnert after I left. I got a call later saying the doctor would do the operation for $250. That is still too much to pay for something I might now need. Not to mention the pain and having to wear a boot for a few weeks. Dr. Wienert maybe a good doctor but I felt I might have been financially taken advantage. Best to get a second opinion. read more

He was supposed to have performed bunionectomys on both my feet. More than three years later, my right foot is swollen, the bunion is still there (was never touched) and I experience pain every day in it. I purchased, like an idiot, a pair of orthotics from him to the tune of $425, which have caused me more pain and aches in my right foot, and which my new podiatrist tells me not to wear.
